- How do dogs and cats react to an optical illusion? We offered our dogs and cats to walk on different mats with an optical illusion. The dogs were overcoming an optical black hole. Then our huskies walked along a curved corridor. We also invited our friend's adorable baby and dog to test them on optical illusions. It was a fun experience. Perhaps we will repeat something similar in the future with our dogs and cats.

Good experiment. The truth is that this is CZcams, well I don't know... Some were not afraid and some were, it could be that dogs or cats also experience logic and overcome confusion. That has to do with logic, courage and improvement . The dogs look adorable ❤❤

For humans looking downward, the visual effects are greater. The cats and dogs see things at a much lower angle and don’t get the same effects.

0:39 wrong orientation to have a real strong trick effect on any of them . . .
I mean I dont think they are reacting to the illusion at all, but instead to just the fabric and a new thing. I think they woukd have reacted the same way if it was plaing black. They are more focus on the fact that its new and the human's reactions to it. Because dog and cat vision is very different from ours. Dogs dont have good vision for colors and its mostly blurried, but they are extremelly perceptive to movement, so I dont think they were able to see the illusion at all

Bat on the first one was curious, but then realized that the whole thing was fake. I was about to say he or she fell for it, but didn't. On the 3rd one bat wasn't even phased.

Животные видят просто плоскую поверхность.Все дело в том что глаза у них находятся намного ниже чем у человека.На 2:05 опустили камеру и вся иллюзия исчезла.

From the animal's perspective, their eyes are too close to the ground. The human eye is at 5 feet which can see the illusion much better.
Most of the time i don't think they see the illusion. Look at the low angles camera view, mostly you can barely sees it. So does they, and when they come closer they knew it fake, they just got confused by you laugh and check it, and when you not laughing they walk right on.
