I've actually been to that town and I've seen the dog mayor before, there were people taking pictures of him
The helicopter part was impressive but it made me think of how so many pilots can do that in the military. He was probably in. This is not an insult. It's just really hard to get better once you reach that point and it's amazing they can. I was on the ground but flew nap of the earth for some missions and it's incredible to watch.

The town is Sunol, to the east of SF Bay. This isn't the first dog mayor there; they had a black lab as mayor for consecutive terms 30 years ago.
