Not ledges, but mother’s fur. Our fur has disappeared, but babies still have the ability to cling on to it with their hands. Feet have lost the right shape to do the same.

Yeah, I recently got myself a pair of wide toe shoes on Amazon. Yeah it looks like clown feet, but they're so COMFY
Until almost 20 years ago we had '1/2' size shoes. This was in South Africa. I think we use European sizing. So, if you had slim feet, you'd buy a size 8, for example, if you had wide feet, you'd buy an 8 1/2. The half (1/2) measurement indicated a wider shoe. Some say it became too costly to produce all these sizes so they dropped the '1/2', which means that many of us end up with unnecessary real estate, but it is better for your toes.
This lady just needs to accept that her shoes are WAY too small for her feet.
Alot of people, especially women and athletes buy shoes that are too small for one reason or another. Style, heels with pointy toes, think they're "cool" (basketball shoes are notoriously horrible for your feet. Just look at Lebrons feet)
I wear steel toe boots (that are the correct size) almost everyday of my life for the last 13 or so years and my toes are fine. Nearly a 1/4 gap still between my big toe and no twisting of toes.
Just buy the right size shoes and not heels or basketball shoes with a ridiculously narrow toe box.

my sister used to do synchronized swimming and each time she'd complain. the gelatin REALLY does its job, it takes alot of time to get it out.

@@jovenc4508 we are allowed to feel disappointed for accidents whats happen. Personally I would be more uppset if somebody would not comfort me at that kind of situation. And the laugh was pure accident also I'm sure. I think the Mother comforted the child and gave him safe space to grief. This was good lesson for the child also handle disappointments and try it again. Maybe little faster this time.
But yeah, I would be so pissed of. Old me would take it as far that I would never do another puzzle again. New me would take the hit and start again.
I remember they made the tops of the school lockers at our school slanted probably for that exact reason so people wouldn’t hide stuff back there 😂

For y'all who are freaking out at the finger trick, it's just *really good* slight of hand. Play it back at the slowest speed and you can see how he spreads his fingers out, using his middle finger on his right hand to "remove" his left middle finger. His pinky finger is bent back behind his ring finger, from the camera angle it appears like he has only 3 fingers. The camera angle plays a HUGE part in the trick!! Well done!!
Just have to watch it at 25% speed.
It's still a cool trick, though. It freaked me out, and I'm old enough to be someone's grandma.

This is one of the funniest things with babies. Their little hands are strong enough to hold their own weight and they have the natural instinct to hang on. I never knew it could hurt them.

The reason that baby has incredible grip strength is because of something called the Grasping reflex, it's thought to have originated from when we were apes and our baby would GRIP onto the mothers hair. Now that we don't need the reflex, you don't want a baby to grab your hair cuz they just wont let go

@uil1433 He just moves the finger to the side and out of view, so it makes it seem like it's gone, while it's being "replaced" with the upside down finger from the other hand.
It's really very simple, but needs some practice to make it look somewhat convincing (like here). I've seen better versions of it though - this one is too obvious.
