Aw, the cat is adorable. I once had a cat who suddenly started to hang her tongue out constantly. It was alarming to see, got her to the vet pronto. Feared that she may have a broken jaw, or something else major. Thankfully, turned out to be just a loose tooth which was hurting her whenever she pulled her tongue in. Had it extracted, went on to live a long and happy life. No particular reason why you should know that, but it's a story with a happy ending. So that's reason enough.

That cat reminds me of when I was a kid and my dogs would fall asleep and the tiniest part of their tongue would peek out and I'd see how far I could pull it out without waking them 😂

I had a deer that lived in my backyard with the same problem, but she was wonderful. She would come up and eat apples out of my hand. She would have her babies in my yard, and they became used to me as well. They do not take apples from my hand, but we talk, and I can get about 3 feet from them before they scurry off. Momma passed away but here babies still come around. I have pictures of them eating cat food with the cats and racoons all together at the same time. I live only 2 blocks from the center of my city of Medina, Ohio.
