Does the alignment tool and the plate fit turbo models?

Unfortunately, there isn't room between the metal housing and the transmission/motor to allow for a motorplate.

Why do they not make these plates for turbos but make the alignment tool??

I have a question. I am having trouble getting the tap to start cutting the threads. I am using the 10-1.25 tap that is recommended. The drill bit that came with the kit does not fit in the enter hole. Does the hole need to be drilled out a little more? Thanks

I have the same problem with my 2015 XP1000... The hole is too small to get the tap started. I'm using a starting tap too as I have a whole set. (I still need to buy a bottoming tap for this plate but if I can't get a starting tap to work, I don't see the point). the Drill bit size for 10mm 1.25pitch thread is 11/32 and that size drill bit does not fit into the recessed hole (it's a hole within a hole). I'm a bit afraid to drill into the case unless that is what I am supposed to do.

I had the same problem. Using the 11/32 drill out the enter hole. Measure the bolt you will be using. Allow for the thickness of the plate you will be using. Mark the combined depth on the drill bit. Drill that depth and tap. That was the process I used. Hope this will help you.

@@user-qh1oi7bd5t ya I needed up slowly drilling out from 1/4th" to 11/32. I only have a tapered starting tap, but directions day to use a bottom tap and buy longer bolts than included... So I guess I gotta get another tap and longer bolts (the stock bolts would work with the length of threads I cut) but there must be a reason they want me to buy longer bolts..

Yes. You have to use 50mm bolts instead of the 40mm bolts that were provided with the kit. I think it is to compensate for the thickness of the aluminum plate.
