- Okayyy I'm just cleaning my open shelf, but the results are so good! There's still lots to do.. but at least there are two shelves down & two more to go. Spring cleaning can last until summer starts :-)

You can use a hairdryer to warm up stubborn stickers/adhesives and make them easier to remove!
Good tip. And for glass, a razor blade works great.
@@MontegaB Also goo gone and razor blade works well. but hairdryer is free if you already have one.

I used lace wings at one point to deal with pest problems on my plants and let me tell you those bugs are assassins on spider mites. I think it took all of 24 hours for them decimate every spider mite in sight.
I did the exact same thing with my ikea shelves like this lol, switching out the big shelf on my larger one and turning a smaller shelf to the side.
It definitely worked well until the taller plants I’d put in the new open space got too tall even for that 🤣
I’m now looking for a lot more short, low profile plants to fill up my empty shelf spaces 🤦🏾♀️😅
My other thought at the time was to go to Michael’s or HD or someplace like that and have a piece of glass cut to fit, it’s not too $$$

Ty, ty, ty!!! I've been considering doing the same thing (removing a shelf) but wasn't sure if it would work. So many taller plants to contend wtih, definitely going to try it. And genious idea to slide in the smaller glass shelf to allow for more shorter plants as well. Now your bottom shelves have dimension with the taller and shorter variety blend, I love it! And I paused your video to go shower and treat my buddhas hand alocasia while I watched, spider mites.....

Some are pretty cool/beautiful especially the flowers on some of them such as artichoke flowers. Hell even cilantro flowers.
OMG First off, love your videos! Plant chores videos are my favorite kinds of plant videos and this one was so fun to watch! Second...that one orchid with the spider mites on the flowers, if you know it, what's the name of that orchid? I have the same exact one and the flowers just finished blooming but I can't identify it for the life of me. Its blooms smell so beautiful!

careful doing that outside, you will kill other insects and could harm wildlife
