Makita TD090D impact 10.8v motor change and service.

Makita TD090D motor change.
My motor was smoking so bought a new one and fitted .
Makita Dc Motor 629851-8. 10.8volt.
Grease the hammer mechanism while your at it as it can get a bit or a squeak.
Basic DIY skills needed to repair this impact drill.

could i replace it with 12 volt motor?

​@@iwanhadieyes. I do it in 2 month later. I chose original dc motor from makita df333, then replace the main gear. That's all😊
I will surprised, because my tool get more speed and torque and I love it again😊
