is it any wonder why Anakin had such an attitude? Imagine trying to save someone only to get sass. You do something good like blow up a ship as its taking off, only for him to remind everyone "good call my YOUNG Padawan" And from that one scene in the Reeva series...i mean the "ObiWan" series, even when he wins, Anakin is just told "yeah but actually you still fail." Its amazing he didnt try to kill Obi in his sleep.

@@AzguardMike I totally agree with this. Obi-Wan's a very, VERY flawed character, and I don't think a lot of people get how important that is. His flaws, flaws Qui-Gon did NOT have, are what lead Anakin into Palpatine's arms. The Tragedy Of Darth Vader begins on Naboo in that reactor core.

20:34 so the clones had no names, no customized armor, or any other signs to show they were separate individuals. They wore Phase I clone armor and the officers' armor were color coded: yellow for commander, red for captain, blue for lieutenant, and green for sergeant. White, regular, armor was for privates and corporals.

Actually, Dooku has good reason to think he can fight Yoda on an equal level. He is probably the best *pure swordsman* in the galaxy, and perhaps the greatest in Jedi history. While Yoda is clearly more powerful in the Force, that Dooku can fight him to a stalemate is quite a testament to his skills. For background, when he was a Jedi, only Yoda was considered his superior as a duelist and Mace his equal. Later in the Clone Wars, Dooku duels Yoda again and even manages to wound him. And Dooku duels Mace Windu into a rather casual stalemate on Ridley. So he is a very dangerous man who was apprenticed to the two most powerful beings of their time in Yoda and Sidious. He continues to abuse Anakin and Obi-Wan through the Clone Wars and remains the third most powerful Force user in that time behind only Yoda and Sidious... but not as far as some might think. But then, something changes in Episode III....

@@eternalcarnage9760 Did he? I would liked to read more on that. I have been a Dooku fan since AOTC came out, being a Sir Christopher fan in general, and I know he has been criminally underrated until the past month or so with Tales of the Jedi. But I have never come across any canon that suggests Dooku and Yoda were equals in Force power. Though it is repeatedly presented that Dooku is just under him and Sidious. In the now non-canon novel "Dark Rendezvous," which is often cited as the best Star Wars CW era novel, Dooku and Yoda have their second and final duel. And this time Dooku is not holding back, and using the Dark Side more freely insofar as unlike other Sith he uses the Dark Side as a tool, rather than being a conduit for it. But this novel presents Dooku at his near peak in power and Yoda is only just barely able to push him back. Like if Yoda and Sidious were a 10 on the scale, Dooku at his peak seems to be at a 9.7 or so (Mace at a 9.4, pre-ROTS Anakin 9.0, Obi-Wan 8.8 etc.,). But even despite that, Dooku lands a blow on Yoda with his saber and leaves without a scratch. No one has ever done that. And, let us not forget that Dooku rather easily stalemated Mace Windu late in the Clone Wars, and defeated Master Yaddle, who, at the time, was considered to be only eclipsed by Yoda in raw Force powers and a very skilled saber duelist. Contrast this with Darth Maul, who many praise as more powerful than Dooku (which is demonstrably incorrect as a matter of canon), when he gets in his duel with Sidious. He has his ass handed to him. Dooku stalemates Yoda twice, and Mace once. These are the two beings that have outfought Sidious. It follows that Dooku himself is a threat to Sidious as well. The Plageuis novel says so itself that Plagueis considered Dooku the better duelist to himself and Sidious.

@@crownprincesebastianjohano7069 Dooku is my favorite SW character as well, and yeah bro ik all about Yoda's and Dooku's duel on Vjun, that was crazy ash. But George Lucas said that: "You can't just go right into the sword fight, so I decided to back to The Empire Strikes Back of throwing things at each other, even though I knew Yoda and Dooku were equal to each other, so it was a hopless gesture and they would've figured that out in two seconds" - George Lucas during AOTC production.
Director Rob Coleman added that: "George wanted an amazing clash between two ultimate masters of opposite sides of the Force."
Pablo Hidalgo also said: "The two Force warriors attempted to defeat each other with displays of telekinesis and other Force abilities, but they were too evenly matched." Genndy Tartakovsky said: "Dooku is basically as powerful as Yoda." He was also the creator of the 2003 CW mini series. So yeah bro, Dooku and Yoda are equals, and if not really close in terms of Force power. But I see that you're a fellow Dooku fan so you already know everything :D Also please just ignore those trolls who say Maul > Dooku. 💀💀 They always bring that C-grade irrelevant "canon list" that's literally for weapons where it says Maul is > Dooku in saber combat. 💀💀 They're just mad Maul hasn't had a legit W since Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon. Also Dooku clearly demonstrated his superiority to Maul when a WEAKENED Dooku was more than enough to help Sidous outmatch Maul and Talzin in SoD. It's honestly such a joke to put Maul at the level of Dooku, Sidous, Mace, Yoda etc, he peaks at Kenobi/Grievous level at best. He had two stalemates with Grievous in SoD if you wanna be generous, he never outright defeated Grievous in saber combat, he just pushed him away. Then again, you probably already know all of this, since you seem to know as much, if not more about SW than me. Sorry for the long paragraph, hahaha. I'll see you around, bro! :D

@@eternalcarnage9760 Nice, well said! I guess I stand corrected! So it also alters the arguments about Dooku not standing a chance against Palpatine. In fact, I would say Dooku always stood a better chance against Sidious because of his superior swordsmanship and being the most unique Force master in the galaxy as the only master of the light and dark sides of the Force. Something demonstrated when he deflected Yoda's Force Lightning with his bare hand; something we have never seen anyone but Dooku and Yoda do. Sidious would have his hands full.

"I was hired by a man called Tyranus on one of the moons of Bogden," he said. It certainly seems like Dooku helped create the army that would oppose his own forces. Why would he do such a thing, I wonder?

The problem is that Jedi cannot have feelings for anyone (I didn't see the series clone wars, but I believe they have different explanation), but for that reason I suppose that Obi Wan didn't let Anakin return to Tatooine even with the dreams he had, for that reason Anakin blames him.

Dooku is good from a certain point of view. I don't know if you've noticed, but the Jedi have started a war and they should be defenders of peace. They broke their code instead of talking to avoid conflict, Yoda brought in an army. Count Dooku left the order because he saw that the order had become a political tool. The Jedi only helped when it was convenient for the politicians, so when the politicians had an benefits.

Yeah, Dooku is considered the greatest pure swordsman of the day, and even perhaps all time in the Jedi Order (not my words, but his Wookiepeedia entry). Whereas it is true Yoda and Sidious are more powerful than him, the gap is not so great and in fact Dooku is probably a better swordsman than Sidious. Dooku casually stalemated Windu on Ridley, where we found out Vapaad as no effect on Dooku, when Sidious struggled mightily against Mace. Dooku faced Yoda again on Vjun and wounded him. Yoda only forced him back with the greatest difficulty. Frankly, both Anakin and Obi-Wan even as they grew greatly in power during the Clone Wars were still not a match for Dooku. He out-duels Anakin five times during the War and easily handled Obi-Wan again on Oba Dia. In fact, the only reason either were alive by the time ROTS occurs is because Dooku was enjoined from killing Skywalker, and spared Obi-Wan for personal reasons (his love for Qui Gon) on Oba Dia and in ROTS. The flash of Darth Maul may attract more fans, but Dooku is the truth.

Good evening, King Gar! Hope you are doing well tongiht!
Something to note, Episode II takes place 10 years after Episode I. So, pretty much 23 BBY. The war that starts at the end of the movie is mostly covered during the animated series "The Clone Wars". In the end, it combines with Episode III, and is immediately followed by "The Bad Batch". If we're speaking canonical events. Also, you pick up on things REAL quick, so I don't think I'll have as many questions to answer as I do with other reactors. But still, I will help you along.
1:40 - Yes. The "Jedi Braid" is a sign of apprenticeship to a Jedi Master. Good spotting that one! Anakin is indeed Obi-Wan's apprentice.
2:32 - I mean, Anakin DOES have a point, here. Protection IS a job for local security, not Jedi. Even though Padme' is a ranking official in the Republic Senate.
2:40 - I refuse to answer that question, because "Spoilers".
    3:00 - Don't over think it. Yet.
3:25 - "No pod is worth two slaves!" - Watto. You see, THIS is why children are usually taken from their parents at a young age... "He's too old." - Mace Windu. Before they form attachments. That's why the Jedi Council said Anakin was "Too old".
3:50 - Just watch, and let it unfold. Anakin and Obi-Wan DO actually care for one another.
7:10 - Listen to Anakin, here. He's 100% correct about the Jedi Code.
7:21 - Yes, which is why they are called "Younglings". Also, many Jedi Younglings trained under Master Yoda. This will become important later.
8:07 - "Truly wonderful, the mind of a child is." - Yoda. He's not wrong. Children have a unique way of putting things into perspective. Because they have no preconceived notion of how things SHOULD be.
10:20 - Not exactly. Clone Troopers are the result of cloning technology using the DNA of Jango Fett. Boba Fett is also a clone, but one without growth acceleration. to make him "Combat ready" in half the time. The other "Clone Troopers" DO have this growth acceleration, to make then "combat ready" in half the time it would take to grow a normally grown clone.
    11:50 - Yes, it is.
13:35 - Well... not the entire planet... bur that entire tribe.
14: 20 - Remember.... Ever since he was brought to the Jedi, he was told he was "The Chosen One". That placed a LOT of pressure on his shoulders. So it's understandable that he felt "entitled" to "more"
16:15 - Yes. Dooku was Qui-Gon Jinn's Jedi Master, just as Qui-Gon Jinn was Obi-Wan Kenobi's Master, just as Obi-Wan Kenobi was Anakin's Master. Also, Count Dooku was Yoda's Padawan.
20:20 - I'll explain that whole thing later.
25:00 - I let the video run a bit, so I'm not sure exactly where you asked about this. Anyway.. Anakin and Padme' WERE married in secret. Both to protect Anakin from the Jedi Order from knowing, and to keep the public at large knowing. More on THIS, later.
Don' t worry, King Gar.... I'll answer ALL of your questions about this trilogy after you've seen Episode III.

@@kinggar My pleasure! The "Clone Wars" animated series takes place over roughly 3 1/2 years. It's a good watch at some point, and fills in a lot of backstory for both the Clones themselves, and the relationship between Anakin and Obi-Wan. I won't give out spoilers, but I do recommend you watch it at some point. "The Bad Batch" animated series follows directly behind it in the timeline. Then there is the Solo: A Star Wars Story, followed by the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, then Andor and the Rebels animated series (which run pretty much concurrently)... which lead up to Rogue One and A New Hope. Once you get through the shows/movies between Episode III and Episode IV, I suggest watching the Original Trilogy again, for the added context. It WILL change your outlook on those movies, and you'll spot some things you may have missed (which is rare for you, as you seem to catch a lot of references from the get go). But you may spot a few.
Then it will be on to The Mandalorian (seasons 1 and 2), the Book of Boba Fett, and who knows.... The Mandalorian season 3 may be out by the time you catch up. It's due in February. After that, the Sequel Trilogy.

However, after some re-watching, I'm willing to allow that maybe he's just "fulfilling the mission" - i.e. make Anakin (at this point) as cringe-y as possible. However that's not enough to explain the mysteriously waxing and waning use of contractions! Great job again King Gar. I'm still an "eps. 4-6 guy", but there are some good, interesting and visually very striking scenes in eps. 1-3. I just think the writing was better in the original trilogy.
