Just remember that PVC is only a form of hard plastic. It can and will break if too much weight or force is applied and injuries can occur. Please use caution when using anything made from PVC.

I freeze water bottles . That way i can keep my stuff cold and when it starts to defrost , i have freezing cold ice water .
where do you buy your pvc water bottles at?
I take my brand new water bottles, which I buy in bulk, freeze them and use them as the cooling mechanism for my lunch. ☺️
🤣😄🤣🤪 I use a pvc end cap to keep my foil hat in place .🤪🤖
Over the last hour I have come to terms with the fact that I will never love anything as much as this man loves PVC...
What the heck? And to think that I've been using cast iron all these years...
Seriously great ideas, Sir. I'll be using this information, and sharing this vid. Viva La PVC!!!
Thank you for actually giving practical ideas that anyone can do and use without a bunch of bling and doesn't cost a bunch. Uses stuff that you have without spending money to use your left over materials. Thank you.
I've always been fond of using PVC pipe for unconventional things. In the past I've built several dog houses & I've found that if you attach some pvc skids to the bottom, the wood stays much drier thereby extending the life of the structure substantially.
Great ideas
I carry firewood into the house every day, I hold out my arm and stack wood on it, been doing that for 30 years, seems to work just fine.
haha love this!!
+William Todd (williamtodd) Just cuz you have been doing it the same way for 30 years, doesn't mean there isn't a better way. After all, we do drive cars these days.
Sebastopolmark just saying, its not the only way LOL. I'm gonna make one for sure looks like it would be easier.
+William Todd (williamtodd) when I was a kid we had a firewood carrier made of 2 sticks and some canvas. what way if the wood bumped your leg whie carrying, it would not scratch you up. also good for shorter pieces
I thought the same thing, and then when he only put 3 pieces in it, I was like "Oh, this is for guys that want to be in the woods but have no business being there."
I would make that snake catching rod about 5 feet longer.
EXACTLY....I'm not getting that close...I can't drill with eyes closed from down block, scream and catch anything at the same time :-/
Just go pick it up and quit being a baby
I guess it is kinda randomly asking but do anybody know a good site to stream new tv shows online ?
@Will Liam I use Flixzone. Just search on google for it =)
@Hamza Alfredo yea, have been watching on flixzone for since march myself =)
I'll actually probably use at least 4 of these soon. Good job, really did make me realize how useful pvc can be.
Great ideas, don't know how many uses the pvc clamp can take but should work great as a cheap ring binder
+420fiko Probably thousands, like how many uses are there for duct tape...Thousands LOL.
Amazing ideas. I have seen most life hack videos on youtube and I haven't seen any of these ideas. If not, one or two.
Thank you
How to pick up CHICKS
Wow! Thanks. Love the idea of grocery carrying, and especially like the pvc for covering the saw edges. I was trying to use cut water hose, but it won't stay on. I tried clamping the hose but they kept popping off. Love these.
Put SALTED water !! This way, the water will freeze BELOW 32 degrees and last and cool longer !
+altamiradorable Salted water will not freeze!
+JohnWPB it will just below 0c
+sander pf Exactly! Consumer freezers do not get this cold, therefore you will have nice cold salty water, and no ice.
+JohnWPB I have a regular LG freezer and it goes to -6 degrees F ! That's well below 32 freezing point !!
+altamiradorable Just use a frozen water bottle. Cheaper than PVC & when it thaws you can open it & drink it.
great ideas. on the tube for coolers, I recommend some rock salt in the water solution. it keeps is in solution for a colder temp and prevents the water from freezing solid and expanding. Salt will not effect the PVC.
only rock salt will work?
+Michael Piercey Or Isopropyl alchohol. And the PVC cement dries instantaneously. It actually "melts" the plastic a bit to create a water-tight bond.
+Mike Pomatto nice. thank you!
Love the gutter cleaning idea!
very useful. I have made vole traps for winter pest protection and your saw blade cover reminds me of the cover I made for my plow to keep it from digging up my soft yard at the beginning of winter....thanks!
Good!
A great idea for your day-to-day...
congratulations!
YOU CAN PUT PVC PIPE ON THE END OF PRUNER HANDLES TO EXTEND THE LENGTH TO THOSE HARD TO REACH BRANCHES.
thts a veeery good idea-instead of having to wait on hubby to do it!! ty-ty-ty
Now I can finally carry in all 30 bags of groceries at once!
I think that I shall never see,
a poem as lovely as PVC.
Brilliant. You just made me fall in love with PVC.
best one is the clamp, what a great idea I will deffo try that out
+Abz Raz Those clamps really has a lot of potential, and i intend to make use of them for a project that i just did not have the money for to buy a load of clamps that were needed. They are a cheap solution that will work just as well.
What?????!!!!! Your telling me you would rather grab your groceries bags without threading a rope through them?
Nice hacks. Thank you. I specially like the super market bags handle!
+octorsep Same! I always try to carry too many bags at once.
bbryant0620 ٨
I like the handle as well.
I think my son would use it.
I keep my bags in the back of my auto & use those.
Love your Hacks video... thanks for all the great ideas!
Great ideas, a couple of suggestions tho. Make the end of your gutter cleaner a "U" shape. Gives you direct downward spray, much more controllable and more power. You stand a good chance of pvc splitting if you freeze water in it. Mix your water with alcohol and salt first. The razor holder, I like the wife to drop her razor, if you get my drift! Plastic is not a good conductor of cold. Keep your chest colder by adding a layer of plastic on top of the contents (I use bubble wrap) as EXPOSURE TO AIR totally wastes your cooling. You will notice that your ice, or whatever, lasts much longer and your contents remain closer to temp after each opening of the chest. Like that you go directly to the point!! The best!
Not married i bet cuz my wife would never allow that pvc and wire tie in the bathroom lol
freebird1963 I bet your right!LOL
AS soon as I saw him do that I was like, um NO!!! HA!
Good catch!
Like the gutter cleaner idea. Will be making that soon enough.
I like all ideas. The bag carrying one i am going to make it. Nice. Thanks
4:10 - had a snake in the house, went in garage to built the contraption... by the time i got in the house, snake got bored and left... :/...
lmao
mrN3w7 - lol, actually its way easier and practical to just throw a towel or sheet on it.
snake won't stay under towel or sheet
Had the same problem. Found the snake later after I went to bed!
I thought you would just grab a piece of pvc and beat the crap out of the snake, lol.
John thats a good one ha ha ha.
That’s exactly what I would’ve done!
LMAO
DO NOT! try this at home!!!! I do not like snakes, so I gave the piece of pvc to my wife to beat the snake. She beat the snake thoroughly and then said, "You know I could find a lot of uses for this!" as she looked at me.
It’s not nice to beat your snake ! 😜
Super cool! Will show my hubby, so we can hack life together w/PVC! 😎
Before I watched this video I felt indifferent toward pvc, but now I've seen the things it can be used for I feel great about pvc. I love it!
+the calbatross Thank you for keeping an open mind when viewing this video
The best one was at 6:41 when your mom says to take the groceries but you want to take one trip.
thank you for sharing, loved the multiple grocery bag holder
wow glad i looked !!! great ideas from a great mind ! Blessings.
sem dúvida os canos de PVC tem inúmeras utilidades, parabéns pelas dicas
Excellent video. The clamp and bag carrier caught my eye. Thanks for the ideas.
I would rather use the pvc to beat the snake
What snake..? LOl
No need to be afraid of most snakes, they r just trying to live their life!!
awesome no long speeches you got right to the point perfect.. Thank you
The gutter cleaner I like and the only creation worth making as a necessity. Rest I could live without. Thanks for sharing that tip
GREAT Life Hacks!!!!I am going to use some of these ideas!
+TheLightHouseLady Thank you, Have fun building.
Excellent hacks. Most of these I would never have thought of. well done.
Thanks
I'd probably suggest that one for someone else who doesn't carry bags all the time, but I do carry bags all the time so I just carry them. It is a good idea though.
excellent video with ORIGINAL IDEAS! Keep up the good work!
I have used pvc for years and thank you for new ways to use it
If you liked these, you might like our part 2 & 3 PVC life hack videos.
These are Awesome! REAL hacks!
This video in NOT like those life hacks that end up costing more time, energy, effort, and money to make than the original issue!
Great Life Hacks I will be using some of these for sure. I have downloaded it so I can bring it up anytime to view it easy. I also subscribed to your channel. Great Ideas here thanks for sharing
Thank you
i made a wood carrier for my troop master and he says thanks! also my mom says thanks for the bag carrier!
Finally, some new and useful ideas. Everybody is busy copying everyone elses ideas that they are not coming up with any new ones. If I was smart enough, I would but....
Great ideas. Just one thought on the wood carrier. Have one piece of pipe longer than the other so that it locks in and stays better
Some were good some were dumb as hell
+Austin0777 some were good. some were dumb as hell.. oh that's been said twice!! spaz
Do you know how to change a bulb in your toilet?
This guy spent his time and money for you to learn. If you can't appreciate, don't watch and go to hell.
***** just to let you know, I am so good in civil engineering. I can easily plaster your face with gypsum. Come on let's do some maths and some architectural drawings. Tell me something that you know. I am some how good in electronics as well letting alone my specialisation. Give me something about construction. You can?
Hobby? You have a hobby? I fly RC helicopters at fairly a low professional level. Am competing at international level for fun. Do you know about helis even abit? I play soccer as well and I have a family to take care. What do you do?
I praise the guy....dumb to you not to others. I am sure you can't cut a PVC. Do you know how to align a blade on a hacksaw? You are just jelous that you can do none of those things.
We love the things he did as dumb as they are.
Austin, honey, for someone who doesn't like the videos, and likes to complain so much, you sure spend a lot of time here. What? Nothing to do but attack others that are smarter than you? Poor baby!
The problem with using PVC is that when the item becomes useless, worn, broken, etc., PVC is not recyclable. Many of your ideas can be made with other materials.
PVC is a recyclable plastic
+saad khalid Yes it can be recycled, but....................homeguides.sfgate.com/pvc-recycling-79771.html I'm not a scientist but have read some articles on recycling PVC. Also, my son is an environmental chemist.
+saad khalid so is plastic itself
+Abunai One i am a polymer engineer
+addison “sugar rush gone wild” richardson Not All plastics
I build a Summer Portable Chicken Coop that you could pull with the lawnmower to different areas in the Yard. It took me 8 month to build it, because some of my ideas didn't work for the coop, and I had to find the right everything from Walls to roofing. It also needed to be light weight but sturdy, and it needed to be cool in the Summer month. I also needed to be able to access the inside of it to retrieve some of the eggs that were laid in the back of the coop, and it had to be critter proof.
After I finished it, I realized many mistakes I made that I wowed to to better the next time around. That coop was build in 2011, and it is still in use today, even though some of the pieces that weren't glued correctly are coming apart, and the bottom Chicken wire needs to be replaced this Winter when the chickens move back into the bus!
Good to know that im not the only PVC junkie.. :) The gutter cleaner was awsome. Stole it right away!
:)
do you dream about PVC? -
now that is funny!
No..about (C2H3Cl)n
"I sell PVC and PVC accessories."
😅👍
For the razor... the ends of the bottom shelf are for hanging your razor... just put it through from the bottom and twist...
Great ideas with 1 exception.
People not familiar with snakes probably don't know how far some snakes can lunge. The PVC will need to be considerably longer depending on the kind and size of the snake if you want to remain safe.
Ice chest thing's cool, that is, until you get pulled over and searched randomly and the cop finds "pipe bombs"
I used a 4" dia by 3' length of PVC to beat myself in the head after watching this video.........
And yet you were able to come here and make a dumb post about it. Should have beat longer.
longer harder with lead pipe
Excellent series! I've been using PVC for camping for a long time, but you've inspired me! I've only seen about 6 of the series, but looking forward to seeing the rest. Keep up the great work! I camp with a medieval recreationists group usually and used PVC to create a clothing rack for my costumes. Works great and keeps everything off the tent floor in case it rains. Also use it to create a barrier around the tent to keep rain from creeping in, setting it slightly into the ground lengthwise.
Cool. I didn't realize they had PVC in medieval times.
An even better option for #2 (gutter cleaner) is to use an inline shutoff ball valve instead of the spray nozzle. The nozzle restricts water flow too much, IMO. I made a gutter cleaner a few years ago using just a ball valve (in the garden hose accessories area of any big box store). I noticed a significant improvement with the ball valve.
OMG THAT CORD WAS A SNAKE 😱😱😱
Hahah Just Kidding
By the time I make it,the snake will be gone ! Lol
by the way A ton of grocery is 2,000 pounds.
Saya suka dengan ide2 tentang penggunaan PVC. Murah, awet dan mudah didapat.... sangat inspiratif
Salam dari Indonesia!
Love how simple the videos are, thanks.
can I use the sneak pvc to grab my neighbors dog because he leaves me his business card all the time . .
+boashna Might want something a bit heavier duty than PVC for the handle, but yes. Basically its just a snare like many dog catchers use.
+Preston Lowery what is it with you wishing people get bit? First by a snake and now by a dog.
+boashna In that case. You want to utilize the larger pvc with ice inside (used in the cooler ) to hit the dog over the head with.
+Maxx Fordham I was replying to boashna's question.Even though it didn't have a question mark at the end,I still knew what he meant. It did cross my mind that.I may.not need.a period after "In that case".(see what I did there?)But,I was pretty certain nobody would even notice. And if they did(.)It wouldn't be worth taking the time to comment on.
Many years ago I was corresponding with a well known artist in hopes of possibly getting an apprenticeship with him.He was an older gentleman and did not believe in emails or talking on the phone. He liked a good old fashioned written letter. In that case(ah,ah)I made certain my punctuation was correct.:)
+Maxx Fordham "In that case" meaning in the situation with the dog pooping in his yard.I suggested he use the large and very heavy piece of pvc pipe to smash the dogs skull in.Perhaps the owner of the dog could use a good wack as well.:)
you can also use it to connect sprinklers in the lawn.
I don't know I got this far in life without these hacks. I'm going to have all 10 tattooed on my hand so I don't forget.
I had to come back 7yrs, I didn't think you had a beard than. Can't remember when I started viewing though. Clinton, thank you for all you are doing & all the great works you share with us all
God Bless!
Thank you Anthony. I truly appreciate you being apart of our channel.
This video delivered what it promised without a bunch of talk to waste time! How refreshing! Thanks for the ideas, man.
Not knowing what to do with my 1/2" PVCs, now I do. Thank you.
They were good ideas, some I liked better than others, a few I've used before. I have a suggestion better than the ice chest one, at least I think so. I always keep a case of bottled water in my extra freezer. When I go fishing , I just throw in a few frozen bottles of water. When they thaw I either drink them or re freeze for the next time ! Very handy.
We do that too
+Specific Love Creations You are very welcome!
Amazing Tips...thank you!
Way to go brother...I can use easily half of these! Thank God there's dude's like you that have lots of time on their hands!
+Mike Pantera You are very kind
I loved the one to carry grocery bags. It's so fun watching the different ideas.
+Darlene Nelson Thank you
love the bag carrier... your snake noose you want to keep as long as possible... the saw blade cover is brilliant, though if you cut the full length it also works for bow saws, buck saws, etc. I have long used a piece of garden hose with some twist ties to cover the blade of my old bow saw. the PVC cover might just work better... I am going to have to give it a try during camping and hunting seasons.
Such unique ways to use PVC. The last one was really cool, to protect your blades from job site to job site.
+Sasha Patrick Thanks
Thanks....my kids were always bumping into saws and I didn't know what to do....this will save us all those trips to the emergency room...glad I found your vid
I like the idea of the PVC lengths of ice. Have you actually used them more than a few times? Do you think that they'd hold up and stay intact after using them time and again? Specifically referring to the expanding and contracting from the freezing and melting.
I have not used them much. I guess like any other plastic, they will crack over time, but I am not sure how long.
Thanks... I think I'm going to give the idea a shot.
Love these ideas! Thanks!
I just LOVE these videos!! I'm a pvc junkie and it's so much easier to work with than lumber!
Speaker stands. Two times and never quite happy, Good vid with quick, easy and functional tools. I want to make an inexpensive Murphy Bed using PVC too.
thank you clever ideas
simple, useful and easy! Great ideas all the way around.
+Johnn Schroeder
Thank you very much
The one for cleaning gutters, makes a great wand for watering hanging plants. Just a few more small holes and perfect.
good idea
I enjoyed that snake catcher I'm sure could be used for small animals as well
Specific Love wow what great and handy things to do with pvc I love it and will be doing them. Thanks be blessed.
Marion Robertson i like your name! Very nice. Compliments
On my way to the Garage and PVC Supply. Coming up --->Grocery Bag Holder and Rain Gutter Washer. Thank You....
OMG.......who knew. These are absolutely genius ideas. Thank you so much for sharing.❤️
😍😍 I love this vídeo!!! congratulations!!👏👏👏👏
I appreciate that this was not the usual life hacks that we've seen a hundred times before. Very inventive. Thanks a lot!
+John Clavis Thank you, I try to avoid some of the standard ones if I can.
+Specific Love Creations you can also use the 6 th one to catch fish by there head
Pretty smart, I really like the one about freezing water for the cooler, very good!
you have some great ideas. first ice freezes from the top down that is why the lakes freeze on the top of the surface not the bottom of the lake. I agree with the water bottle it is usable water that you will want any way. the log carrier is great. the snake catcher I have trouble with but that is because I am not going to get that close to a snake I would use a longer pipe and a slip knot you might even put 2 holes in the pipe and tie the knot on the inside of the first hole that way I would be able to use it from a safer distance. the last thing I want to say is about the saw its self you need to use vinegar to get the rust off that blade then wipe it with a light oil it will cut better.
Thanks. You have some really great tips here.
Lots of good tips to learn, thanks for sharing.
that's amazing I love the bag holder, saw blade protecter, yard cup holder, wood carrier. they are all great ideas I just wondering about the fence tho with the northern snow and ice if it would hold up.
That is a good question, I am not sure. We usually have mild winters here.
Great Ideas. Thanks for sharing
A Very Smart Engineer 👏🏼.
I can’t wait to get out there and make some of this stuff
Very clever! Though I can't say I've ever found a snake in my house. Mice, daddy-longlegs, flying squirrels, & the occasional bat - but no snakes. (We don't have any venomous snakes here in NH anyway, so bites just need to be washed with soap & water.) But I love the ideas! Thumbs up.
Thank you PVC nerd ! Now if I can just get that snake to hold STILL !
