What size mason jars are you using.

This is so great and has given me some ideas! How could you modify it to have a semi-circular cut out like a silversmith bench? I don't want to lose the strength of that top layer, but not sure how to make it work for something with curves. Thanks!

Or hockey / football drills, etc. Sometimes there are basic movements and procedures you need to practice before you can combine them, and before you can start to make up your own.

#15 toothbrush holder: Recommend using a wide countersink bit for the bottom toothbrush stabilizer holes with drain holes drilled in the middles of them. Rubber feet to lift it up off the counter a bit is also a good idea.

All great ideas. I have about two tons (or so it feels like) of scraps, so I'm always looking for something to do with them. That mini picture frame you made gave me an idea to make nice wooden light switch covers to replace those boring old white plastic covers.

Great idea, thanks for sharing! How about making the piece that folds completely detachable by using something else to attach it instead of hinges? This way you can put another piece at the end of the tire that looks like the one in the front of the tyre, for extra security. And it will be easier to carry around since each ramp will be comprised of two pieces (three, if you make a small lock in place one for the back).

So if your French cleat system is the cabinet width, the last three choices will all perform well in a standard kitchen cabinet. that is good to know because it then comes down to an economic choice.

I bought one last week and I tried it for both cutting and sanding. I have to say that for standard and straight sanding, better to do it with a rotating sand tool, the oscillation sanding seems to be not as effective as the rotating one (removing old painting was much slower with the multi-tool), though it is true that for corners and hard-to-access zones, the multi-tool is a better option or the only one. For cutting heads of nails, screws or old tubes that are in-wall this is definitely the tool for it. You can easily remove them and they'll remain just at the same level as your wall. The strongest con of a multi-tool for me is the really high noise it produces. Nevertheless, I am definitely happy to have it, I think this is a must-to-have for remodelling, rebuilding projects.

If you work on a shed or garage. Mount a mirror on the wall so you can see the car wheels on the ramp. Second hand furniture shops often have large ones cheap. That way your 'spotter' can fetch you a cold drink instead of having to stand there

There's a build on home depot's site that has the cut list. I changed it up a little and made it four timers high. Super easy

I was always scared of woodworking. When I was little, like 8, I seen my brother get cut by a chainsaw while he was helping my dad. It seemed like it barely touched him but his side just fell open as he lifted his arm. Seeing that was bad but the way my dad was after when it came to saws had me too scared to mess with em for a long time.

Hopefully he patented that brilliant work.

Ramps are NOT a necessity. I've always done my own repairs including engine, transmission, and clutch changes, and have never used ramps in my life. Best way to lift a car to work on it is jack and jack stands.

With the prices now, that project will cost about a thousand dollars!! 😅

I don’t think it’s actually high enough to accomplish anything other than maybe an oil change. I’ve been under a lot of cars doing various types of work so I just don’t think it’s high enough.

Flat hinges can be made from cutting an old garden hose and splitting top to bottom before screwing down with four screws
