I am so glad FE canonized the Praetorian. I loved the concept since I read Genocide and Rogue.
Its fascinating how developers have progressively used roman ranks to define xenomorph forms.
Praetorians, Palatinians, the use of latin as like in real life, it gives a strage vibe.
Palatinians (Guardia Palatina in Italian) was one of the successor corps of guards for the Emperor of the Roman Empire.
I'll not be surprised if some further development could bring something like "Varingian" or similar.
I really wish they would expand the Alien universe. Because people are starved for something that's different from Star Trek and Star Wars but, are a little bit of both. I mean, aliens could be an even bigger franchise than Star trek and Star wars. If only 20th century studios would see the potential.
Its hard to make the serious and horrifying implications of this universe into a woke campaign, other than having a female lead.
If you havent realized yet, movies are used to push various social agenda narratives, if it cant be used for that purpose, the product has little value.
The Praetorians in the Aliens: Fireteam Elite game are some of toughest zenos in the game they have some serious body armor

The Praetorian is the warrior of the Hive, tough, massive and ferocious. However, she is born quite humbly.
Under the right pheromone conditions, Runners and Drones undergo a molting process extending over several years. During this time, the Xenomorph skin thickens and hardens.
As the Praetorian enters a mid-phase, it emits its own behavioral pheromone, which in turn enrages the Hive. Most Praetorians die during this phase.
One strong enough to escape will wander the surrounding environs until her shell completes its hardening. Then, with a shell capable of reflecting small arms fire and a temper to match, she will return to assert her presence in the Hive.
This information comes from the 2001 AVP game.
I don’t generally include AVP content. My alien is focused on information canon to the alien timeline
Praetorians are the queens guards and also the commander, but do praetorians have the ability to physically stop or restrict the actions of a xenomorph? Well, Predalien has the power to physically stop xenomorphs from attempting to kill a host, do praetorians have anything similiar?

Praetorian has the toughest armor exoskeleton. i cant count how many rounds i unloaded in fireteam elite just to kill one

I think you're thinking about the Queen Xenomorph
They have similar head shapes but she is much bigger than the praetorians who I believe are only seen in Fireteams Elite
