TemplarGFX's ACM Overhaul V5 - Game Over Man!
Adding new graphical overhauls to all levels plus reworks and fixes to a number of other features.
V5 Update changes :
- All Levels have had a graphic overhaul (only Sulaco was included and a bit of Hadleys Hope in V4)
- Bug Hunt MP modified for Xeno's only (no WY grunts) and uses V5 Xeno configs
- Fixed Laser Attachment
- Fixed Extended Mag for Pulse Rifle
- Permanent Decals
- Improved Engine Config for higher quality graphics
- Improved Pixel Shader for better graphics
- Reworked AI Targeting mechanics to improve xeno and human combat
- Slight Improvement to Human combat AI

Such an elusive xenomorph! This is one of my favorite missions now even though at first it was terrifying to play. Just imagine seeing that thing in Alien: Isolation instead of the typical Drone.
But it will be more insane than nightmare mode plus the drone was all I need to make it scared.

This level re-defined irony for me. It's an FPS game set in the Aliens universe, and the best part of it was the section where you had no weapons.
Winter is the most luckiest guy ever
He almost died in bridge between Sulaco and Sephora, 2 times
Survived that, even knowing that could have a parasite inside him
Survived the fight of a kind of tank but was alien, i don't know what is that
And survived and "defeated" the xenomorph queen

Loved having the ability to use the powerloader such a great moment in this game
The raven level scared the shit out of me and still does it took me a month just to get out of the first room
I remember a funny story from this chapter. I didn't know I had to seal the doors when The Raven was chasing me so I was just running and jumping and kept dying so I yhought what was wrong. Finally I managed to do that without sealing the doors XD

I kinda agree, I mean it gets a lot of hate but with some bug fixes, animation changes and better graphics it could really end up like a decent game. The alien designs are worth the reboot alone
Here are some of the steps to fixing it, 1. Leave Hicks’s fate alone. I hated Alien 3 for killing him and Newt off, but Colonial Marines somehow made it worse by retconing it. Step 2 will be to make the Xenomorphs scary again. One way to do that is making them harder to kill, another way is to possibly make them one hit kill enemies like in Isolation. Step 3. Is to not have so many freakin weapons. Shotgun, semi auto shotgun, smg, it’s all so unnecessary. Just stick with one pulse rifle, one pistol, and/or one flamethrower. Step 4 would be to better the voice acting. A lot of everything here doesn’t sound convincing. Step 5 is to make our main protagonist interesting. Every other character makes them special in some way, and Winter, the guy we’re playing as? I forget he’s there most of the cutscenes!
If you wait around long enough after opening the vent, the raven will actually come back and chase you. Found this out the hard way

The Raven is one of the only things I like about this game, it's premise is beautiful. (The xeno from the space jockey) and since fox counts this as canon, that means this beauty is up there with the big leagues.

When I was like 8 I played this game I thought it was so cool but I never got past this mission because it was just that scary to me it wasn’t until I played co op that I finally completed the campaign

Even though colonalial marines might be one of the worse alien game with it's crappy A.I. but this scene really gives you some tense feelings. Also i hope they make an alien game that has the action shooting genre from this game along with the horror survival genre from aliens isolation

Did you know there is problem with some code or what the hell it is? I'm talking about AI now.
All because of one letter A. Instead of Tether, it was Teather, which the script was trying to assign to the aliens making them what they were. By removing the letter in the editor for PC, the aliens acted like they should have, changing the gameplay immensely.

unpopular opinion: good game. why? my game never messed up. never. no bugs, no glitches. loved it. especially the old complex missions. ahhh, brings a tear to my eye!

Who thinks fox should make an asymmetric game where one person plays as a xenomorph and there’s a bunch of other players playing as the crew of a starship or colonists of a planet, and maybe there could be a mode where there’s a predator hunting the Xeno while the players try to survive both, but the predator automatically loses if it kills a player without a weapon or a player who isn’t hostile, player as in survivor, and maybe a mode where there’s one colonial marine, one Xeno, around 5 humans and one predator, and the colonial marine has to protect the survivors

Adrian Simonsen yep, asymmetrical games are where there is one player on one team and about 5-7 more people on the other team, so just like Friday the 13th, dead by daylight, and evolve
@@iterationfackshet1990 It just needs something else to separate it from the other games. A feature like turning the other players into Xenos like in the movies.
Adrian Simonsen maybe the Xeno can grab people like in Friday the 13th and place a facehugger on them, or injure them and bring them back to the hive to be impregnated similar to how dead by daylight killers bring injured people to the hook, but they could choose just to execute them, and attacking the Xeno could actually hurt you, with the acid blood, maybe bring in a bit of alien isolation with the Xeno tracker, instead of just a regular map, it could be really fun and tense, and since the tracker is a motion tracker, you don’t know if it’s a Xeno, another player, or they could add the AI synthetics from isolation and those could show up also, and you don’t always have to work with other players, if you let’s say need something someone else has, you can kill them if they don’t give it to you, and guns and stun the Xeno, but can’t kill it since it’s not high grade like the colonial marines weapons, and the Xeno could use the vents like a fast travel system, where it can just slither through quickly, so if you try to go through the vents the Xeno can kill you, just like Jason does in Friday the 13th when a counselor is swimming, but maybe there is a control room where one player can help the others get through and they see them through motion sensors, and they can also see everything else, but they’re vulnerable

The multiplayer for this game had soooooo much potential. Hope they make another game with a similar idea and similar multiplayer just done well this time lol
I remember playing the multiplayer at the Eurogamer Expo before it came out. The Devs were playing as the aliens, and we got to play as marines. It was genuinely so much fun, because they knew what they were doing and worked as a pack like the aliens should. It was never the same again post launch.

There is a theory that says that the raven is the xenomorph that chestbursted the space jockey in lv 426 side note: the space jokey and the engineer are not the same for those people that think that there the same back to the theory the raven is huge almost the size of the jockey and looks more biomechanical the the alien itself and also the teeth are different than the xenomorph Spawned from us humans the raven doesn't have canines or fangs unlike other breeds so my head canon :) p.s people say it's a irradiated xenomorph like the boilers but no also did you hear the foot steps of the raven? heavy stomping he is very big

I remember being a little younger than I am and being too scared to do this mission alone so I’d always harass my friend to get on and « help » be everytime I did this mission and unfortunately for him...this was my favourite mission
I love winter he's funny but serious this game for me was like a 6 or 7 for me
if the rest of the game was this terrifying it would prob get a chance at living

I want a game with the atmosphere and quality of isolation, but the inventive design of this game. As in new xenomorph types, multiplayer (but good unlike this games) etc... but an actual good game like Isolation with genuine suspense, threat of the aliens, etc...

Were the animations for the xenomorphs made anticipating the wrong framerate cap? They all look like the kind of thing you'd see when setting up animations for a 30fps title and then running it at 60.

In all honesty somebody should remaster this game on unreal engine 4 or 5, with better AI coding and a better story transition, also to make the guns more lore accurate,and to update the sound design somewhat, I’d buy it if somebody ever remade this, would love to play this in glorious detail on the newer generation of game engines

ray sanchey I did that for just being a troll and we both just got in and out of the vent messing with the Ravens A.I
When we had to seal the doors, I would always lock my friends outside and have the Raven kill them. Shame every time that happened it would cause the Raven to instantly open the doors and get me killed.

These graphics make it seem like this game could have come out in 2009. They really dropped the ball making this game. They got the story handed to them and they still fucked it up!
Alien isolations renditions of the aliens are scarry for real. The aliens in this game seem like they are too rooted with the developers trying to give them a sense of personality that says " haha i got you" as to where the aliens in alien isolation the aliens are just being wild animals and they arnt all like haha i got you they are just hunting. I dont like when producers or developers as a im gona get you because its fun for me the alien. It takes away from the scary and makes it seem more playful than actually scarry
