When looking at your face, the Runcam was a little over-bright, with better detail on the Hawkeye...but as soon as we were in the air, the Runcam became the one I would rather watch.
If they could be used as an FPV camera, the Runcam would be the one I would fly with.

To me, runcam is the winner.
The cloudy sky turned out be be an excellent test for dynamic range, and saturation. Runcam (pro) appears to show colours much more vividly along the coastal beach area. Great side-by-side comparison.

Runcam thumb pro looked a nicer image, colours was much nicer.
Runcam cost a bit more but is well worth it

Runcam may be a bit more, but worth the extra IMO. I assume you can remove the battery in the Hawkeye...?...🤔😏🇬🇧

I want no distortion
No distortion? Have a look for a camera with a 90° lens.🙂 The Hawkeye Firefly has one; I don't know if it'll give 4K footage at a high enough frame rate for you, but at least there'll be no nasty fisheye distortion.
If you're into 'extreme' activities, 90° lens footage may not be as steady as with a more forgiving wide-angle setup. The alternative is to spend loads of money on a camera that processes its distorted wide-angle images into something less awful, but results vary by manufacturer, and may not be as good as raw analogue footage taken straight through glass.
Having seen your name, I'm tempted to say something sarcastic about spheres, planes, cartography, Mercator map projections, and so on, but CZcams would probably consider that a hate crime against the Flat Earth community and delete my response.🤭
