- Inspired by @alex_k21 I set about making my own meteor 85 cinewhoop with mixed results.

I was also taking my Radiomaster Zorro out for it's first outdoor rip, so I ended up with varied results!
Watch until the end for some sound design :)
ND filter 8 on the outdoor stuff, no filter on the indoor shots. Probably some other stuff i missed out.

That's awesome. AlexK's video was actually one of the determining factors in my decision to start with a Meteor85. How's maneuverability/thrust power feel w/ the added weight of the mounted camera?

I think I only used airmode briefly when I first started. After that I came to the realisation that I only fly freestyle so never enabled airmode since. Love watching your journey bud.
I guess 'tumbling out of the sky' is less common on bigger quads? power to weight ratio and all that. working on a vid atm about my unducted 2 inch and a couple of 'aha' moments regarding chuckability 😁

A Thumb arrived at my house today, and I'm waiting for a 3D part to arrive. Gonna mount it on my Cetus X, let's see if it can lift it.

Not sure what you mean... The soldering? Just connected the runcam power lead to spare 5v and ground pads on the fc board 😊
My latest 3inch with lannrc 1505 3750kv motors flys amazing, the gps says it does 125mph... Thats basically 200kph for you weirdos that didn't go to an American school in the 80s, lol, look in to some dyi goggles, those things give me bad flash backs to my vision plus i think i got like 9 years ago...

goggle are definitely next on the list. however I feel like they are the one part of the Cetus X kit that isn't complete garbage but know no different 😂
i took the 2 inch ripper out yesterday to test/compare a 2s and a 4s pack. got one pack in and my crappy soldering of the battery connecter became apparent. so i have half a video. it rips though. just need to solder and for it to stop raining and can finish the vid lol so stay tuned for that one 😁
