Awesome video. I have only used this fc flipped over 180 degrees. I really prefer the battery/ESC to be on the bottom. I prefer the mini over the regular sb wing for the most part. I like my pins and battery/ESC to be on opposite sides of the board. I do find it funny that my biggest complaint about the regular sb wing was too many led plugins(4) using valuable real estate . With the mini, they don’t include even one :). Seems I can’t be pleased :)

Bit of a waste using such a sophisticated FC for such a simple task. One thing to watch out for on these SpeedyBee Wing Mini's. The 6 pin JST GH plug /cable that would go into Uart2/Uart4 port on the left hand side of the board, has the opposite VCC/Ground orientation to that of the same port of the standard size SpeedyBee Wing FC's. I note this cable/plug assembly was NOT provided with the Mini, but was with the standard size, but don't go using the standard size in the Mini because you will have the wrong polarity with voltage, and are likely to let the smoke out of something. Don't ask me how I know. How could SpeedyBee get something like this so wrong??

What a beautiful view. That place would be great for some slope soaring. Have you done any slope soaring on those cliffs? I love slope soaring with cheap lightweight foamies.

I do wish i could use these boards, but I can’t see well enough or solder well enough. I do wish these companies would sell these already soldered and pins or something appropriate on the battery and ESC connectors.

wow that's a great looking little unit, I've got to get into Ardupilot at somepoint. saw a lidar altitude hold system the other day, anything up to 8 meters for something like $25... amazing.. would be really curious about optical flow units, I should do my own homework 😆

Hi, great video. I just got this plane but It's s so tail heavy? I'm using a 2s 1500mah lipo placed as far forward as it will go. Using the planes COG marks under the wing. Any ideas why it's so tail heavy? Thanks

I bought a few of these and for the money, these speedybees can’t be beat. Same cost as the Zohd Kopilot but so much more. I use the straight pins. Tried the angle pins on one but it was a pain while inside the aircraft

Banggood has become a rip off in the past year or so... BG wants $42.55 USD plus $36.55 USD to ship this small FC to Canada. That's $108.15 Cnd. I will be buying mine elsewhere.

Nice upgrade and flying. If the servo tray was mounted few 4-6 cm furrier rear, it would free up some space in the font of the compartment. Perhaps freeing volume to locate additional battery. Seeing "Wing App" in title confused me initially, as thought topic would be something to do with software. No complaints as FC seems to be good value at listed price.

I finally grabbed the kit version of this one on a Banggood sale for AU$116! Now to dig through the spares box to find servos, motor and ESC. It looks nice and relaxing with that motor and 2S so I'll pick something similar.

I have the SpeedyBee F405 Wing, but i cant seem to find a way to connect 2 analog cameras. is this feature specific to the 405 mini?

That's pretty impressive, it's obvious how hard it struggles to go vertical with no pitch authority. Little idea i just had, tell me if it's nonsense, but what if you transitioned by doing a half-roll and yawing yourself vertical with differential thrust?
