Initial impressions: My usual glove size is men's small, so I ordered the small and the fit is pretty snug. My finger tips reach almost to the ends. I'd like a tiny bit more room but the medium would probably be too big. That pull-on loop really helps fitting the gloves on.
I have a pair of very thin liners I'd like to wear for extra warmth (see below). They make the fit too snug and even harder to bend my fingers, but it might still be worth it for the extra warmth.
If you wear a fitness watch, you'll find the gauntlet doesn't really fit well over it because of the battery. You'll have to leave the gauntlet loose, or remove the watch while riding.
I have no other heated gloves for comparison, so take this FWIW.
These gloves might be marketed as water-proof, but they are definitely NOT water repellent. The outer layers absorb and retain water, especially the goat leather inside the fingers/palm. When you make a fist you can literally see water seeping out of the leather. Holding a paper towel in your fist and squeezing out the water will help them dry faster.
Even if your fingers stay dry, the absorbed water sucks the heat away, and you can especially feel it on the inside of the fingers where there is no heating or insulation.
I will definitely try spraying them with a water repellent of some kind. Maybe separate kinds for synthetic and leather.
I found it best to power up the gloves a few minutes before wearing them. Once you're outside in the damp cold, they take too long to warm up even at high power. Maybe I just have cold hands but I found that even wearing them indoors at high power, they never got uncomfortably hot. I need to adjust my grip guard height as I noticed my finger tips got cold while the back of my hand was nice & warm. It seems the finger elements don't reach all the way to the tips. The batteries also get pretty warm and it's a shame there's no way to capture that waste heat
This is probably normal for heated gloves, but dexterity is not very good. I have new found respect for astronauts doing EVA work. With time & use, these gloves might loosen up a bit. But other than riding and operating basic controls, I have to take them off to do anything. It's not a complaint, more an observation to keep in mind.
The materials and workmanship SEEM to be pretty good, but I'll reserve judgement till after I've ridden with them a while. So far I noticed only one very minor 'defect' if you can call it that. The cables in the gloves come with caps. Although the caps have little loops, they are not tied to the cables so they can be easily lost. So either tie them yourself or leave them at home.
I haven't properly measured battery life yet, but subjectively it feels that they meet the specs. The batteries are 7.4V 2200mAh. It looks like there's room for a bigger battery if you can find one with suitable specs (this would probably void your warranty if you screw it up).
The 'smart charge cable' requires 5V 2A input. So although it uses a standard USB connector, you can't just plug it in anywhere. A computer or cheap USB charger would take MUCH longer or maybe not work at all. If you have USB power on your bike, make sure it can supply at least 2A.
These are my first heated gloves. Especially given the complete absence of any independent reviews or usage history, this was a difficult decision made worse by ordering from Canada (I had them shipped to my US parcel service). I'd never have made such a purchase let alone without trying them on first. But the SUPER SUPER low sale price was too good an opportunity, and more importantly within the 'disposable money' range should these prove to be lemons. Time will tell.

Yep getting a pair of thoes it maybe a bit of a pill to swap batteries. Maybe not as good as heated grips but the fact you can get off the bike maybe hike down to the lake to toss a line in for a bit and stay tosty doing it. Or maybe it's a bit chilly while chilling around the campfire at night nor thoes hands just so many more uses. Thanks for this update got this in my email today ordered!!

How do I know which size I need?

These gloves fit true to size and we recommend ordering the size you normally wear in other gloves. Also be sure to take advantage of our fit guarantee to make sure you get the size that fits you the best.

I normally wear men's small so I ordered the small. The fit is very snug and my fingers almost reach the tips. Ideally I'd have liked them just slightly looser, but I feel the mediums would be too large for me, and they're bulky enough as is.
I'd be curious to try the mediums, but there's no practical way. I wouldn't want to return the smalls as I'm reasonably sure that's the correct size.
