  • Cold hands suck!
After a recent ride where I just froze, I decided my best option for dealing with cold hands was to invest in heated gloves instead of putting heated grips on all my bikes.
I went with the MSR Surge Heated gloves from Rocky Mt Atv and thus far I'm impressed with their function and quality. In this video I have a look at the gloves as well as test them on a frigid walk and moto ride. They seem to do the job I need!

Nice review! Good to know that in those conditions and set-up I might be great and can kick on the battery occasionally.

Appreciate the time you took to make this review. I have heated grips and I'm contemplating between Hippo Hands or heated gloves. The thing that concerns me about heated gloves is the bulkiness and losing dexterity. Since I have heated grips, I don't think I would need to do both HHs and heated gloves. It's probably one or the other for me. Just not sure which route to go. I wish I had a friend around me that had Hippo Hands so I could try before I buy. Thanks again for the content. Cheers!

Thank you for watching! Yes, these gloves are very bulky but I figure I'll mainly be using them for riding on road for distances so I'll be fairly static.

I will definitely think about a set of these. I really like that they have their own battery in each glove and don't have to be hooked up through a jacket. One trick I know for helping keeping your hands warm is get a silk glove to put on underneath your other glove the silk will help keep the heat around your hands without adding a bunch of bulk on your other gloves..

After the last video I was wondering when you were going to discover heated gloves. It’s the only way to keep your hands warm in truly cold weather on a motorcycle.

cool...I mean hot....could they be plugged in the usb system on the bike and ridden without batteries? Cable seems long enough or extend it up the sleeves and out the bottom of jacket.

What size gloves do you normally wear? With cheaper stuff I usually wear a xl or XXL.
