Awesome and thanks for sharing your review. Great help for me on my next Gemo purchase.
Thnks for the vid. Was really hoping to see the power comparison between the 3 guns.
The accuracy of any rifle, can tend to be due to finding the best compatible ammo for each and every individual rifle barrel. Therefore each and everyone of those rifles could be as accurate as each other when matched with their most suited ammo.
You Sir, are correct.
Very good friend, great video, here in Brazil I have two Gamo rifles, a Black Fusion IGT Mach 1 cal. 4.5 mm and a Black Maxxim IGT Mach 1 cal. 5.5 mm, among others, are great mono-shot rifles, I love it !!!
Big hug !

I LOVE break barrels SO MUCH !!! Easy, fun, and no need to buy anything but pellets. I LOVE my Gamo's and Hatsan's.
@VortexModz same, will pick up one in January
Powerful too
I got my first one on monday, a gamo maxxim gen 2 in 22. Loved it so much i immediately ordered a hatsan model 85 in 25 cal
Exactly
Question could it soot iut a car window
I'm looking to buy my first Gamo, and this video was great and helped me a lot. THANK YOU!
First thing the gun is great but throw the factory scope away
I purchased the maxxim from the local Walmart. Only had it a week and already shot a couple of hundred pellets through it. I can absolutely personally vouch for the accuracy you showed here. I use 3 different pellets and weights. It’s shoots all well if I do my part. The cheaper lighter daisy pellets seem to be the least accurate but I can’t bash them or complain. I might get an occasional flyer but they still do the job nicely. So far the most repeatable accuracy comes from crosman premier 10.5 gm. Yesterday I made my 2 best shots so far. The distance was 40 yards verified by a laser rangefinder. I started by shooting the plastic tops off water bottles. Then I kept focusing on smaller targets. I don’t know how to post a picture here so I’ll describe it. The little plastic band that stays on a coke bottle after you’ve opened it up. Centered it and it went flying. I thought wow I got lucky 😂 then right next to it I had a small bottle of gain dish soap. The kind with the flip up lid. I shot the little flip up lid off. I was so amazed at the accuracy I immediately sent pictures to my family. I am curious about the sound dampening. If the fusion is actually verifiably more quiet. I’m certainly not complaining about the sound of the maxxim but I shoot from my backyard surrounded by neighbors and I love to shoot so noise level is kind of important to me. Sorry for the long message I just love the hell out of my maxxim and the sport. 😂🫡
Thank you for sharing! I always love hearing these stories 😎
Had the same scope problem. Fitted this rail. It has the screw stop, and you can fit a normal 20mm scopemount
Love your Gamo gun reviews. Can't wait for the Brocock video reviews. I love the Brocock guns and reviews but not in my price range. Definitely a lottery winning purchase for most of us!! Enjoy your new contacts from EBR. You're deserving!!
I have a X 10 GEN two fusion on its way right now! Can’t wait!
Great review guys. I was searching for a new hobby as I just retired and picked up a Gamo Maxxim Gen 2. I love the rifle and now have time to practice and get better at my shooting. I went with the .177 as I will mostly target shoot and maybe bag a few squirrels on my property. My last rifle was a Crossman 760 when I was a kid. Glad to see the Maxxim did well in your test.
Thank you, Jim!
Great review! Thanks.
Hey thanks for sharing. Great little video.
Love the video! Was curious if you could post a detailed video showing how to clean the bore of the Gamo Swarm Magnum Gen2. Thanks again for the video.
I just use a normal .22 long rifle cleaning kit with a brass wire brush/solvent, and a lot of dry white patches to run through the barrel until the patches are clean, (at least 15 of them). I run the rod from the muzzle end, (no need to worry about the silencer), but it is the breech end you have to be careful of. You can lift the plastic off the breech face, (it is lightly spring loaded), and out a piece of cardboard between the plastic and the breech face. This way, you can see the cardboard move when the end of the rod hits it, and you won't push it too far if your careful. What you must do last, before you close the barrel, is clean the grime off the breech face, (Q-tips and some solvent work pretty good for the tight space). It was "out of sight, out of mind", for me the first time I cleaned the barrel, and that grime on the breech face made it's way around the rubber seal/sleeve after about 100 more shots, and my FPS went all over the place, (the air was leaking around the seal). I pulled out the seal/sleeve easily with an exacto blade, (careful not to damage the rubber), cleaned the seal and groove it sits in, and put a very little bit of gasket sealer on the end of the rubber seal before I put it back in, to ensure no air can leak around it. Just clean it like normal, but make sure you clean that breech face when done. Doug in Michigan.
The one thing I expected you to compare was muzzle velocity of each gun. I would expect that the one that was harder to cock would produce higher velocity. Accuracy is important, but a higher velocity is just as important, and a comparison would have been appreciated.
I’d like to know as well. My maxxim is advert at 1300fps. Just curious if it can actually achieve it.
The issue is velocities differ from different altitudes out of break barrels; I’ve had a lot of negative comments on other videos where I showed velocity because I live now at a higher elevation. So it’s hard to accurately show what these are capable of for different folks; however the accuracy should be consistent throughout the velocity band (unless you’re shooting extremely slow or fast).
@@TheDollarSportsman True. velocity also changes with each pellet and pellet weight. Honestly, velocity doesn't matter just as much as accuracy lol. It matters to some degree, but not as much. If you can't hit something, it doesnt matter how fast the pellet is missing it.
I think the moral of the story here is: A.) These are pellet rifles and not known for consistent accuracy. B.) Pick one brand of ammo and stick with it when dialing in your scope to increase consistency. I have my Fusion dialed in to a 50 cent piece pattern. However there are times when a shot I know was legitimately dead on will stray. It is what it is.
Great video...but, I havnt had any luck with these. Every one I purchased had problems or no accuracy with it. I did get the g2 versions and had better luck. I put them up in my collection all collecting dust now. I had got in with the Hatsan break barrels and had a lot better luck with the quality and accuracy with performance. I'll never buy - (waiste) my money on another GAMO.. I do like the big bore TC line of PCP Gamos. They shoot hard and seem to be pretty good quality so far with superior accuracy tho.My hats off to you boss! Ed The Professional Backyard Sniper Man😂✌
Nice video 😊
I would like to know.
More spec's
Better microphone audio
I'd love to see more 👍
Hey dollar sportsman this is Will. I told you about the Diana ZR mount. Anyways, how about doing a review on the gamo swarm Fox? Its a nice inexpensive rifle for $150 in .22 cal. Give it a try. Should be good.
Love your videos
late tot he party here, old time Crosman Sheridan from 70s guy would have loved the chrony here, I am looking at these air rifles, have seen Maxim g2 vids, and FPe looks low, 18s
Thanks for the video! Personally, I've tried the Swarm Whisper and Maxxim, both in .22, and was very disappointed in the Maxxim..... the accuracy, even after 500 rounds was horrible! At 20yrds, the best 5 shout groups with any pellet were 3/4"+ totally unacceptable to me...returned for refund. It took 3 of the Whisper guns before I kept one.... first one had the loading mechanism go bad within 100 rounds...returned for replacement. Second one.... the trigger literally stopped functioning/broke internally at about 300 rounds....returned for refund. Number 3 has been good for about 1000 rounds so far. The third Whisper is also FAR more accurate than any Gamo gun I've shot.... my conclusion is that Gamo guns have spotty quality. Where it not for buying from Amazon, I'd either be stuck with broken guns, or be playing a back and forth waiting game for warranty work. The ONLY reason I've kept the Whisper is because it's a repeater/mag fed. If accuracy counts to anyone, they need to spend about $50 more and by a Sig ASP20...... It's an absolute BEAST air gun for $350.
I can't tell if you're serious, or just whining like a little bitch because a fun little toy doesn't take constant abuse forever.
I've heard same complains before from various shooters so i dont think it's fake.

Hi Ed, My name is David . I have a 2021 single break Game Maxxim WhisperIGT in .22. Absolutely hate the plastic trigger /safety . But the rifle itself is set for 50 meters will group in 50mm circle every time and deadly . But why put out such an amazing rifle shooting wise, thats got cheap plastic trigger. And truth be told The shape of mine is the pistol grip shape, with the cutout. not the 90degree pistol grip but the 125 degree one.
Getting their scope to stay on the rail is a challenge for sure. They got some kick for an air gun.
Your channel deserves at least 100k subs
I really appreciate it!!
To mount a scope on gamo rifles you have to use the custom scope ring that is in the box because it has the knob that can go in the divot of the place where you mount your scope
These air guns are love!
Good job 👍
Another great review. Quick question sir. Because of the harder cocking on the Magnum, is barrel droop a problem that could arise? Would the maxxim be a better bet for longterm reliability?
Howdy, sir! I haven’t noticed any issues so far, thankfully; these things just keep pushing :).
What scope are you using on the Maxxim?
Use a heavy pellet with the magnum. I own one.. Becarful it will go threw several boards. You need a good backstop if you are in your backyard.
Not to hard to cock...
It can shoot crossman pellets with accuracy.
JSB monster and Diablo pellets are what I use. The fit perfectly never jam and pack a punch of about 28 ft lbs of energy.
HN silver point👍
Do these air rifles with the gas piston require piston replacement? Or the only consumables are pellets?
Im sure the comments are so far from being looked at anymore, but imma take a shot… Being a newbie to the Swarm Magnum 10x V3, I’m curious why not make a final adjustment on the scopes used in this video. Seems many of the groupings were tight, but still off center. Since I shoot a LOT of snakes in our Koi Pond from about 30-yard, I have to be near dead on accurate. My 9yo Gamo break barrel (1-shot), puts holes right through center of a 2-ft long snakes head 9 out of 10 times. My only option is the head because the remaining body is under water and we all know, once pellet hits the water, it’s done. Missing a snake is no go, as they hide for hours after a miss (or graze).
For the snake lovers, it’s a pest thing. If they weren’t eating my expensive koi, I could wouldn’t care less.
Anyways, and reason you don’t make a final adjustment to get center mass? Wind?? Thank you!
Hey, man :); no reason other than time constraints on these videos. If I can show the grouping, that’s my primary objective.
So which one is best out of the three?
For the money swarm maxxim all the way!
Hey man I just picked up the swarm Maxim 177 and the only thing that I have realized is I'm having a hard time using my right eye with a right-handed man due to the high er height of the scope am I just holding it wrong or have you noticed this too?? Love your vids !
I haven’t had the issue, however I happen to be cross-eye dominant, which messes with my shooting. You can try changing the riser to a different one that’s higher, but make sure the riser has a pin in it to prevent it from moving off of the gun.
how many yards was the test? You never mentioned it in the video
What rifle sling do you have on your Magnum? I looking for an alternative to the doofy looking Gamo sling. The one you have looks perfect. Also, I missed what distance you guys were shooting at...
which model is the quietest? are IGT models quieter than spring models?
On the swarm fusion what type of scope is that?
Good review but can you tell me what yardage were your targets set?
Nice video
Hey, I was wondering did you have any problems with the 10-shot magazine ? I really want to buy а GamoMultishot air rifle, but I hope that the magazine will work for at least 2000 shots hassle-free. What is your experience with the magazine, did it brake in any way ? Thank you for your video.
Thank you for the comment! I have not had any issues with the magazine itself. I’ve noticed that Crosman pellets are difficult to push into them, but otherwise the magazines have run reliably for me always.
@@TheDollarSportsman
I use the exact pellet in my GAMO, same problem placing the pellets in the mag without damaging the skirt (accuracy dropped off when pellets were damaged). I use a small punch, one that only goes inside the skirt, and push them in that way. Accuracy with mine is great and it works great for head shots out to 20
yards on squirrels.
Are all the swarm series spring piston or gas ram just wondering gen 2 series
Hi sir Which one is the quietest of these three air rifle??
Use better pellets in the magnum. Like H&N terminators or a jsb 15.89 or a 17gr Mabe 18gr
I just bought a gamo swarm maxxim .177 I'm new to air rifles . Think I might need someone to sight my rifle in can anyone do this I'm in corona California
Thanks bro, which one is more quiet maxxim or fusion?
Love the Gamo line
Great gun
Sir,Gamo's which gun is more accurate for hunting
Love u from India
If you use the platinum pellets it will break the sound barrier.. But no accuracy at all.
Nice video. I like these guns, wonder if I can use one? Great info.
What silencer IS more silence?
What pellet rifle out of the 3 would you find yourself hunting with more for like rabbit or raccoon
I reach for the Magnum because of its power and accuracy at distance
This is the swarm maxxim gen 1 right since it has the old style pellet magazine? Would u say to buy the gen 1 or gen 2?
I prefer the gen 2 now that they make the magazines with an anti-double feed design
Hello, I'm thinking to buy the game swarm fusion, or benjamin trail np2, wish one do you recommend?
The trail np2’s trigger isn’t as good. It’s a great gun but I’d get the Gamo. Gamo is also less pellet picky in my opinion
Yes website please Sir
@@bluuper321 thank you
Jose Garcia you’re welcome
You forgot to talk about the pellet cartridge/magazine or what type pellets your using and what works best in the rifle
Heck yeah
Are the gamo whisper loud?
How far out were you shooting?
Can you please name all the online shopping apps tos buy the swarm magnum. I realy wan it but its not available on Amazon.
Try one of the airgun websites.
Great video. So if you had to pick one for rabbit and squirrel.. would you take the Magnum or the fusion
After a few hundred rounds, the Magnum really dialed in and holds the most power; as such I’d take it 😎.
I'm a whimp i jump up pull down with all my might and hope like hell it goes far enough. Damn
So, are you a featherweight midget or what?
Very cool, have you tried the TX200AA, or the HW97k?!
Check them out, you will be amazed...
Can you take off the 10 round magazine and make it single shot ?
When push comes to shove, I believe you could, though I haven’t tried it personally. The mechanism isn’t designed to be removed and re-added, though, so be aware that it may cause the rifle to be permanently single shot after the modification.
Which one is the quietest?
I've heard it said that you have to run at least 1000 rounds through before you get maximum accuracy.?
2-300 for break in, but that makes sense: and using consistent ammo choice. Find an ammo that flies best and work the barrel with it
I have a new Magnumwhat scope is best for the power of the rifle??? im have trouble keeping it sighted in !!!
Bobby Moody for just how much force this has, I’d recommend a couple of things:
1. Diana Bullseye Zero Recoil scope mount
2. Either an MTC Optics scope (like the Mamba) or one of Hawke’s Airmax scopes. I also run An Axeon scope on my Fusion, and it has performed really well.
Check out vortex AO scopes also. They are awesome.
Could you do a review of the new Gamo Swarm Fox .22 caliber ?
im jealous of the equipment u got there available ,we got here to but for a hobby is pretty expensive ,for now i only got 2 kind of pellets and limited number, i got this riffle mostly for pest control and practice ,we got pretty good big game hunt seasons here, but its nice to see about differences in the guns and i hope i got good rifle...

Poverty is directly related to the lack of a free enterprise system, and no nation really has one anymore. The free enterprise system was invented in the USA by free people. We tend to forget that as governments take it over,---and we go poor.
Expensive? 🤣🤣🤣 this is poverty fun. I was shooting $1 bullets not so long back
Can you also compare Gamo vs Hatsan similar model? Thanks.
how on gods earth can you stand that much recoil?
It's like he is comparing 30-06 to a 17 hmr. 🤠
I am also part of the gamo mafia i have the fusion mach 1 and the magnum and i get better grouping w the maxxim idk why
How much louder is the magnum over the maxxim?
Probably just a bit because the magnum shoots way harder so it is for a fact louder but I’m not sure how much but just a bit on my guess
The Dollar Sportsman hey thanks for this video. Question. Where do you get your scope from that does video? Also I am trying to find a really good attachment for my scope that has a really good laser and flashlight. Some of the ones I have found have a cheap flashlight on them with a very low light output as well as weak lasers. Could I ask for your recommendation for really good ones as well as this video feature you mentioned for a scope. Thanks. All new to this. I am getting a swarm maximum 10x gen 2.
carsutube howdy! I use the Tactacam 5.0 camera with their FTS (film through scope) mount to capture my shots; then you can buy almost any scope (that doesn’t have an illumination turret on the back) and film through it.
Most laser/light/scope combos aren’t at the right quality to be worth it, so here’s what you do. Pick any scope you like and purchase a scope mount with a Picatinny rail. Then pick up a laser/light combo to your liking and mount it by the scope. For example, here’s an inexpensive Loadout (I use affiliate links):
UTG Scope mount: amzn.to/3lzX2Az
UTG dovetail you Picatinny conversion: amzn.to/34S5nIS
Olight Flashlight/Laser: amzn.to/30XMa7v
Then you can pick whichever scope (just make sure that you match your scope diameter and scope mount diameter; the scope mount I posted above has a 1” diameter but I’m sure there’s a 30mm version).
Also keep in mind that gas piston Airguns chew up scopes; you can use a Diana Bullseye Zero Recoil Mount ti help with that.
If you go that route, then just purchase an offset rail section to install your light/laser:
amzn.to/3iP9SsH
I hope this helps!
The Dollar Sportsman
oh my goodness. That’s a lot of good stuff I am sure of that. My problem is I am totally green. LOL. I will have to look up some of those terms. For example I will have to look up what an illuminated turret on the back.
As for picking any scope I want. Then make sure to pick a Pictanny rail. I assume that to mean that the scope and rail are separate pieces. The scope must mount onto the Pictanny rail and that rail mounts onto the top of the rifle. If that’s the case am I right I’m thinking that the top of each gun has different mounting styles built into them. The Swarm Maxximum 10X Gen 2 .177 for example. Not sure what type of rail is built onto that gun. If the Pictanny mount is a rail the scope mounts to then does that Pictanny mount to the gun mount or do I remove the gun mount that comes with the gun and replace it with the new Pictanny mount.
As for the Olight Flashlight/laser. I noticed that goes on a pistol rail. How would that mount onto the top of the rifle or does it mount under the barrel somehow? See how green I am. LOL.
As for the the gas powered guns chewing up scopes. I believe that means that over time scope go bad somehow. If so using a Diana Bullseye Zero recoil Mount Ti will help. This I will also need to look up as I have no idea what that is. I do believe the gun I bought and am awaiting its delivery. The (Swarm Maxximum 10x Gen 2). I thought it comes with a scope mount that has some type of shock absorbing feature. I only ask this because I watched the companies videos and remember something about this.
Then the last part of I go this route I can pick an offset for light laser.
Boy oh boy do I need help. LOL.
Could i ask if you would let me know what all I would need for my set up or gun I purchased. Sorry to ask for that.
As for video shooting that wound be a cool feature. As for the illuminated turret. Is that where there is a green light inside the scope? If so I am not sure what that is for or it’s purpose. I have seen pictures of scopes that have that. My Swarm comes with I guess a decent scope but I will probably want to get something better. Anyway thanks for the help as well as any future help if your able to have the time.
carsutube no problem man!
Illumination turret: knob that is often on the back of a scope to turn on a red or green light inside the scope that illuminates the reticle.
Picatinny rail: yes, it mounts to the top of the Airgun. Most Airguns come with an “11mm dovetail” scope mount. You can get scope mounts that are designed to mount directly to the 11mm dovetail, but most scope mounts with Picatinny rails on top won’t mount to a dovetail (hence the need for the adapter rail).
And yes, the recoil from these break barrel Airguns is rough on scopes. GAMO does have a recoil reducing rail installed, but I’ve found that even with that rail, the recoil is still enough to eventually compromise your scope (I found out the hard way haha!)
I love my GAMO Swarm Maxxim :); it’s a fantastic Airgun. They do come with a scope that’s functional, too; I use them plenty with no issue. An upgrade is nice to have for gauging those more precise hunting shots, though.
carsutube oh And the Olight mounts to a Picatinny rail, so you can mount it to the top of the scope (with the right scope mount) or to an offset rail adapter.
The Dollar Sportsman thanks. Would you be willing to spec me out an example of what will work with my Swarm? I also assume from your reply that we would be replacing the rail they provide with a Pictanny rail right? Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. If you want to provide an example using a better rail along with the scope it comes with and the additional mount for the light/laser as well as an example of a rail and better scope that is really nice and a light laser mount and so forth that would be much appreciated.
Nice comparison video am also break berral user and lover
Bro am interested to buy this gun tell me which one is best in threes in your experience
I personally love the Magnum, but it does take some getting used to due to its recoil and heavy cocking force.
The power is just awesome.
Is the suppressor on the Magnum aftermarket? Mine didn't come with one. If it's added can anyone help me out with who supplies it?
I think I answered my own question. I think they are called Swarm in the US and Replay in Europe and the Replay doesn't have a suppressor. Anyone know if I'm right?
D C in the US you can buy them with or without the suppressor, but yes, the Replay doesn’t come with the same suppression.
@@TheDollarSportsman Thanks for replying. Soooo, any way I can add one because this sucker is a little too loud?
@@davec3376 i got a replay magnum igt gen 2 in Europe .and its with a suppresor ,they all were i think in the store,i don't how loud is with out suppressor coz its not for backyard shooting to much if you got neighbors close ,its still pretty loud.
im bit confused about the name to.
U look just like Seth rogan when u were sitting
Hello Dollar Sportman, is 30 yards the maximum distance you can shoot with these airguns!?
Good morning! You can shoot them further; I’ve shot with accuracy out to 50-60 yards. After that the groupings start to open up, but that could have just been the circumstances of the day. As I’ve shot these more, their accuracy has continued to increase.
@@TheDollarSportsman Thanks for your kick reply. I have the the Swarm Magnum and I tried it once. Do I have to adjust the scope for more accuracy!?
Nancy Arsele there are a few things you can look at:
1. Yes, make sure the scope is tight; use lock tight if needed on the screws.
2. Make sure the bolts are tight that attach the stock to the gun; if they are loose at all, accuracy suffers.
3. Use a good hold (the Artillery hold); I used to grip my break barrels really hard until I learned that a looser hold was needed.
I just used a new swarm magnum that has been super accurate :); it was phenomenal haha! These simple checks should get you on target 💯
Nancy Arsele ...you know you have to sight it in right

I dont like those stocks with the holes i like the swarm maxim better
It is made like that so the grip is more of a vertical pistol type grip. I can shoot them either way.
Music is TOOOOOOOOO LOUD in the intro/end But EXCELLENT video overall.
I like gamo swarm maximum. How to buy this stuff in India.
Yes you can...but have to spend about 50k to 60k
Definitely a pellet issue, not gun differences. The first shots, the far gun likes the pellets. The near gun needs a different pellet.
How much sir.
I've watched this three times and I can't believe bedding down at the same time on a poly table didn't throw off the second shooter. just sayin.
Ya we had to be super careful not to budge when the other was shooting, but funny story: this table officially got retired during a recent review 😆. It has lost too many screws and become too unstable haha! Time to go find something better :)
How much louder is the Magnum?
When we were using the Fusion and Magnum this last weekend, there wasn’t really a noticeable difference in sound beyond a couple of decibels.
Which one good?
All.
Gamo claim that the fusion silencer suppressor is quieter than the Gamo Maxxim Whisper. Would you say the fusion was quieter? Judging by the sound on this footage the fusion didn't sound quieter at all and if anything sounder louder?
I need to switch up the sensor to pick up near the end of the muzzle and redo the test. There is definitely a difference, but it’s not a drastic drop (like that of a 0db suppressor, for example).
@@TheDollarSportsman let me know when you redo a test. :0)
If you where buying one which we would it be?
Between these three, I love the Magnum the most :), but it’s also the hardest to cock. I’d say if you don’t mind the force needed to cock the rifle, go with the Magnum.
iski price kia hai gg

My old Benjamin .22 cal pumper shoots tighter groups. Where are the tack drivers in today's pellet guns ??
I bought a swarm maximm last night and my scope already broke I had to get a new one
I've had a Gamo Bull Whisper Extreme, .22 cal, for 9 years now. It's a springer and my most powerful airgun. I had a scope survival problem, too; I finally ended up with a Leapers UTG 3-9X32 True Strength scope and it has held up well.
