  • The Gamo Swarm Fusion 10X GEN2 is one of the nicest shooting Gamo Break barrels on the market. It has the best of what Gamo has to offer in the way of their Mach 1 IGT Ram, Recoil Reducing Rail for the scope, CAT Trigger that breaks at under 2 pounds, and full whisper barrel shroud and moderator. It also has open sights and a great stock.

The more I watch reviews on this rifle, the more I want one in .22. No stopping to refill air, no CO2 to buy, just get some pellets and extra mags and shoot. Great review....👍😺

Yep!!! It is a very, very nice little rifle. I do not have that particular one, I have the new Fusion Gen3i in .22. I just this morning shot a .62 10 shot group at 40 yards. The FPS is from 861 to 865 so the accuracy with this deviation tells the story. I am using the Predator GTO 11.75 pellet.
Second best pellet is the RedFire. Next is the Crossman 14.3 domed magnum. Your rifle may like something else, however HINT, it seems the GTO is very good in a great many rifles , not sure why this is not well known. Yep they are expensive ones. JSB makes the GTO 11.75 and you can when in stock buy them for 11 bucks a tin from Krale versus the now almost 30 bucks a tin the US dealers are demanding.
Look out HW!! A new kid is on the block!! This is my new favorite of all time. With in a smigeon of my HW95 and has the 10 shot magazine system, it is light, balanced and also easy to shoot offhand. Lets bust a myth today also, the GTO is producing 19.5 FPE and retains 10.46 FPE at 50 yards. So much for myths.
    Yep I like this one.
    Cheers
    Kit

I haven’t been into pellet rifles since before the gas pistons were starting to get more popular by Benjamin, but this new new stuff is nothing I could’ve ever imagined, and auto loading break action😱 wow, deft gonna goin to get one soon

I really appreciate the lesson on how to shoot a break barrel properly. I’ve been struggling w/swarm maxxim gen2. You also made the point about the pellet being in the barrel a while and therefore your form has to be consistent. I watched and you are very smooth on the trigger and consistent with your left hand hold. I wonder if this fusion model’s stock is interchangeable with the gen2 maxxim? I love that thumb hole grip.

Idk how anyone can hate on a Gamo air rifle. My Swarm .22 gets under an inch group at 50 yards. Yea. 50 yards. I shot a .83” at that distance. It’s consistent. Light. Easy to shoot and mine have never failed me.

I have .177 and .22 Gen 1. I believe it was the maxxim. I got mine from Walmart. Mine does NOT have that big moderator on the end. Mine look more like a muzzle brake. I have yet to get the Gen 2. I wanted the bone collector Gen 2 but for whatever reason they stopped making them.

...not a Mach 1 as it has a 29mm cylinder....the Mach 1 has a 33m cylinder...like the Magnums...but it's shorter, so not as powerful. It's a Viper pro with a different stock, Fusion barrel and Gen2 of course...but then I have and LOVE my Viper, so that's not a bad thing! Love your videos and your channel Sir. Greetings from Spain!

Only reason for a little more power is for reaching a little bit further. I have done ballistic gel test and there is very little difference between a 12 FPE 177 and a 23 FPE 22 caliber at 10 yards.

Awesome review man!! just ordered mine on .177 and am wanting to get the Magnum on .22 whenever I have the chance, I've heard it's a lot harder to break though how does the Fusion Gen 2 feel? I'm not exactly a big guy so I'm kinda anxious about getting the Magnum and have a hard time breaking it. This one doesn't seem too bad though, and btw what did you use to measure FPS? I like how it tells you the velocity in speech, that's really cool!

Fast question about the Gamo mags: Rick, what is the likely hood of the band, that holds pellet braking? Do you think it is a good idea to place a few drops of old on that band to make it last longer? How do you replace said band if it brakes?

I am getting more and more confused! I have an air rifle that is identical to this one you shot. the only difference is mine has a blue band and yours a green? Mine is called a Roadster IGT second gen so what's the difference? And today I took it out for the first time and got my loading system com undone from the guide pins I had double-loaded pellets and even one just fell off the gun as I cocked it. Now I do not have Gamo ammo I am using stinger hollow point. My thought is I have not pushed the pellet into the magazine far enough. (it is as far as my finger will allow it to be pushed ! ) I did hear you say at one point to tap the Mag to ensure the pellets were sitting correctly and I am assuming this is the problem I shall try again tomorrow! I am also in a coastal village in Spain so I can confirm the output of the gun is better than your figures I think I am perhaps 150 feet above sea level. Thanks for the review I hope you will try and open sight shoot with this gun mine is still in this configuration (that's how I learned to shoot)

The Roadster is THE SAME GUN but marketed in Europe differently....have ZERO idea why as Gamo is a Spanish company. They make MUCH more effort with their US market than here in Europe...and even less in their own country which is where I am. So the coloured band is just marketing...in the US Green is 'hunting', in Europe we have green on some guns but most are red....pest control...or blue...target and plinking. Like I said, Gamo make great guns for the price....but why the US is 'favoured' I do not know....money perhaps? Shame that! :-(
