Interesting. I'd say one of the worst moments in baseball would be, umpire John Mcsherry collapsing to his death behind homeplate on opening day. I believe that happened in 1996. He died almost instantly of a massive heart attack in front of thousands of people, all on live television. It was truly awful and tragic in so many ways.

Interesting. I'd say one of the worst moments in baseball would be, umpire John Mcsherry collapsing to his death behind homeplate on opening day. I believe that happened in 1996. He died almost instantly of a massive heart attack in front of thousands of people, all on live television. It was truly awful and tragic in so many ways.
