Thanks, sorry that some scammer is trying to abuse the community you have formed by your hard work. Maybe because I am familiar with the world of scambaiting, when I got the message this morning on my utube notifications, I knew it was from some scumbag would-be thief. Also I saw both the videos where you award the bowls and you are clear on your process. Hope scummer gets all he deserves. Happy

I love it when you inlay contrasting woods or branches or soap stone with resins, all your creations turn out beautiful by the end, even the ones that gave you grief. It's great to see you very rarely give up on a piece that you are working on. Thank you for sharing your craftsmanship. Sincerely.

JIm: I was shocked when I saw my name. Good thing I was sitting down. With all the difficulty in the preparation, it still came out nice. I like the mix of wood. It gives it a really nice look. The finish material always brings out the grain and beauty. It will have a place at the table for the family to see, after they all get this link. As always "stay safe and take care". I will be in touch.

Lucky Smee and Family winners! For me this bol is gorgeous, colors are well balanced and the Waterlox shine seems very good. In one of my bols I used dried beans instead of rice though it was not a deep casting projec ( I have no pressure pot so I use the pro series resin) but I needed to apply pressure on my fillings under plastic sheets.. It is less compact than rice and molds easily in the bol. I don`t know whar would happen to the dried beans under pressure! I appreciated the technique with the nipple to center the glue block on the bowl. Since I have no jumbo jaws that you usually use it looks to me as a good alternative. Thanks alo for the comments on the quick cure resin and on Waterlox. Next on my list when I will have used all my GF. Happy to watch you next week. Have a nice weekend.

Beautiful piece of wood, but certainly challenging, with all the fill opportunities! Not usually a huge fan of epoxy fills, but this piece probably couldn't exist without it!! Great finish, in spite of all the work, the piece insisted on, for you getting to the end!! Nice to see videos where everything doesn't go right and looking like it was so easy!! Thanks for REAL LIFE, on the lathe!! Loaded with character!!

The bowl is beautiful. I have loved everything you have shown. Newbies like my husband and myself to turning and carving need all the help we can get. Thanks for being our you tube mentor.
