8th edition to the series! I thought it would be great to bring back the nostalgia of the hilarious lines of grunts in halo 2. IWHBYD (I Would Have Been Your Daddy) skull was used to gather up rare quotes. Sadly I couldn't get all of the lines due to the randomness. I might do other halo games including Halo CE or Anniversary, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo ODST, Halo Reach, and Halo 4

Funnily enough, that was actually the Grunts' whole purpose when they were first inducted into the Covenant. They actually *were* the cannon fodder. Since they reproduce rapidly, they were dime a dozen. That is until the Kig-Yar pushed them too far, sparking the first Grunt Rebellion. Their ferocity was so surprisingly strong that an Arbiter was needed to quell it. It ultimately took witnessing the Covenant's retaliation by glossing their home planet of Balaho that the rebellion surrendered. However, the Sangheili were impressed by the Grunts' ferocity and finally allowed them to carry weapons into battle. You may notice how an Elite is almost always accompanied by Grunts, this was out of mutual respect. The Sangheili had seen first hand what the Unggoy were capable of and that would definitely prove useful.

There's one, the black bloke who mostly gets dropped down to you after the first Hunter fight on the level Regret. Every now and then he'll sing a fair few lines from "War, HUUUH, what is it good for"

I tried to spare as many grunts as I could when playing as The Arbiter. Everyone thinks they’re annoying. I think they’re adorable.

The first two grunts have the cutest voice and are the cutest. And the ones that say "argh bad arbiter" and the one that says "why you act like grunt?" and "don't worry, me awake!" They are so cute

I discovered a new Grunt dialogue easter egg, with IWHBYD Skull on, whil I was riding a tank in a mission new mombasa a Grunt yelled 'Shiela!' It was clearly a reference to RvB
So anyways, I started blasting.
If you have halo 5 guardians, it will be really great if you upload funny lines. Also, I heard one funny line from an elite saying, "I'm hit! And you hurt my feelings!"

Not all the grunts and hunters sided with the elites, some did, some didn't.
