Hello mate, i don't understand exactly the question but you don't need to change the software, as long as your car it has the harness for that type of seal it works straight away, just need to install it properly as they are a bit more precisely on reading the rotations and must to be installed correctly , ive got the video with that aswell.
Do you know if reluctor ring pattern is same between both rings? or is software change needed?
