The Story of the Ma & Pa Railroad

Area residents have long been enamored by the unique rail line that snaked its way through Harford County’s farms and fields delivering products between Pennsylvania and Baltimore. Walt Holloway is the Historical Society’s resident expert on the railroad and will share his numerous photos and stories of this legendary part of County history.

The "Fenmore" Station was actually in the lower basement level of a house, and that house still stands. The primary use was passenger pickup. no freight. Any freight needs were handled by the Brogueville Station less than a 1/2 mile away.

Was hoping for some comment about the Vale Station.

The freight house is still standing, and if you can use Google Earth, you can go back in time and see the station.
