I work in a derm office. Please please wear your sunscreens and stop with the tanning beds 😭 there is so much skin cancer
I work in residential care. I have a client in her early 70s who was just simply unable to live alone after a surgery. She's covered in questionable moles and has had skin cancer removed multiple times. She tells everyone she was a person who slathered on baby oil and baked herself and how much she regrets it!😢
I’ve always thought tanning beds were such a bad ideaa and I would be to afraid to use it because of the tanning bed scene in final destination
I always carried an umbrella or parasol. I used to walk more than five miles a day. I would get rashes when I was a kid so I started taking an umbrella to school. There wasn’t much shade on the playground.

Teenage cancer patient in remission and campaigner here!!! The cancer rate seemingly going up is due to a number of things: mostly it's because we're living longer (more than 3/4 of all people diagnosed are over 60), so our cancer risk increases with age. Lifestyle choices (smoking/drinking etc) and genetics also play a part, but also we are detecting cancer quicker, which means we can treat it more effectively. Cancer survival has doubled since the 1970s! Although, it depends on the region, for example my stats are from the UK, in which we have a 1/2 chance of getting cancer in our lifetimes. Hope this clears up some stuff! All the love ❤
quick question, are you an idiot?
@stefanoferrari2992 yes! Hope this helps xx
That just made me more worried I'm gonna get cancer. So no it didn't help.
Mrna vaccines. Mixing untested vax.
@stefanoferrari2992 It's just an mRNA being injected, it shouldn't really directly cause cancer. Those instances were probably just coincidences.
Every time I went on recently, I kept seeing on the trending page people "reacting" to pornhub and shit. I report it and twitch gives me a warning about frivolous reporting 😂
😂
Lmaoo I didn’t even know you could get a warning for reporting
@Beelzebubby91 I didn't know either. Even tik tok suspended my account for me report CA shit. And then all these people doing fake dcmas out here, like wtf? Trust me, dude, these social media corporations do not care about people. Not at all.
That’s actually insane. Good thing I’m not on Twitch.
Dude how do people think that's okay to broadcast?? If you wanna react to vids like that, there's literally phub channels that do that exact thing. Just make one of your own..
I was diagnosed with cancer when I was 29. They told me I had it for five to ten years. They said I had six months to live if it couldn’t be removed. It took four months to get emergency surgery. 🗽
FOUR MONTHS to get “emergency” surgery. Our country is a disgrace… glad you’re still with us 🫂
Yay Merica!! /s
Hope you're doing better now!!! 💜💜💜
I’m convinced that they are just trying to scare us with Cancer in order to pay them more faster. And then after that they just do whatever they want and then make up some bullshit. Maybe a Hot Take but it’s what I’m thinking.
How old are you now? So glad you're still with us. How are you doing?
That almost sounds like an insurance issue. Emergency surgeries are often done straight from the emergency room where they may not even have your name. Hospitals always make sure to have an open surgical room for any sudden surgery needs that pop up. I'm shocked that it took four months. My mom found out she had cancer and they booked her surgery for later that week. I've been on the organ transplant list and you better believe they have a room ready for you when you get the call that they have an organ for you.
I seriously don't understand why these twitch NSFW streamers don't just keep things on an OF and call it a day...😒
It's because when they do it on Twitch Penguinz0 makes a video about it, if they do it on OF no one cares.
Because they aren't good looking enough to compete on OF, they'd never make the money they do in the sewer that twitch has become.
Money?
These girls just use twitch as marketing. They get attention by being risqué, people go check it out to see if they're actually doing butthole POV because that's a ridiculous thing to do on a video game streaming site, and then they spam their chats with links to their "socials" which is just a linktree to their onlyfans or fansly or something. More people watching -> more clicks on their OF -> more money for them.
Because they know they can get away with it on twitch. They’re still making money off it probably because it’s easier on that platform. I agree though. It’s literal porn that should not be on twitch.
Two years ago I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung cancer, its genetic wish I could of smoked or done something to have caused it but it was all due to genes. I am taking an experimental drug that has kept the nodule at bay and even caused it to shrink. We are definitely noticing Cancer more easily now, that and other diseases that tended to end us are less common
Can’t be from the amped up radio frequency of 5g and the shot a lot of people got a couple of years back.
Or it could be related to an influx of Trumptards spending more time in the sun, staring at the sun, eating macaroni gummy candies and putting back 18 packs of beer a day while drenched in deer piss and fishing in chemical-infested lakes. But that’s a guess 🤷🏽♀️ (It’s neither. It’s that we’re catching it more and our food quality is horrendous in the US.)

If you see a mole in a place that rarely sees the sun, like the bottom of your foot, or middle of your torso (assuming you don’t wear swimsuits without sunscreen often), get yourself to a doctor quickly.
My dad had a large mole pop up on his calf when he _never_ wore shorts. Not in a decade or more.
We found out (after a very long time of pleading with doctors and eventually appendicitis-like symptoms) that he had colon cancer and the melanoma on his leg was just one place the cancer had spread. He had a few other places where it had spread too.
Luckily, dad survived and has been cancer free for almost 20 years, but it definitely taught me to keep an eye on my moles as best I can and have an a check up with my dermatologist every year.
Addendum to Ken's "they should read their Bibles" statement at the end: just because something is in the Bible, does Not mean it is automatically portrayed positively, and there's quite a bit that needs additional historical context in order to fully understand it which means *gasp* you need to consult other documents for aid in reading the Bible.
Even though I no longer call myself Christian, I'm still kinda horrified at the trump crucifixion Bible. Somehow I've seen genuine mockeries of crucifixion with more respectful tones to them than that

I absolutely agree that people who are part of the Christian faith should read the Bible more than we do nowadays, and I’m saying that as someone part of the Christian faith.
But I will also say that it’s absolutely horrifying to me that Trump is 1) selling a Bible, no doubt as part of his political campaign, 2) that he’s marrying it with American historical documents as if it’s only something people in America believe, and 3) if that’s what it looks like??? If Jesus was still in the grave He’d be ROLLING in it. And the fact that so many people think He’s actually genuine about his “faith” and not just using it as a tool to try and get more people on his side. It’s absolutely disgusting imo.

There's more tests to diagnose Cancer. They didn't have the same high tech machines and the medical knowledge. I read a study once that said if our life expectancy was slightly longer everyone would eventually have Cancer before they died, even if they didn't know until an autopsy.
From what I understand, cancer is something that naturally develops over time because of how our cells change. So yes basically if we all lived to be 100 most of us would end up with cancer at some point.

No one is going to ditch a person who brings in such a big audience, unless it was incredibly egregious to the point where they'd lose people for it. Most of these controversies bring more viewership, which is why twitch only does these baby tweaks to the rules.
@@rynn6583 and you repeated the original comment?
One of the biggest reasons cancer is around more now than it used to be(Cancer has probably always been around as long as life itself), is life expectancy. People live a lot longer now, and the older you get the more likely you are to get cancer. Also, if you've ever had a sunburn? You now have increased risk of skin cancer.
Med school student here, Ken:
Cancer is more common now (due to pollution, heavily processed foods, and most importantly is people are living much longer now---which have the highest rate of cancer).
But also we're just finding and diagnosing it more now.
This trend is seen just about across the board with chronic and non-communicable diseases (e.g., cancer, diabetes type II, Alzheimer's, and asthma) in developed nations.
I’m 34 and just got cancer cut out of my thyroid. I think it’s all the junk we eat. We do catch it more (mine was caught by accident) but the life expectancy has more to do with infant mortality than anything else.
As for the melanoma, it has increased due to the shrinking ozone. Now that the ozone is making a comeback, maybe we will see less skin cancer
People have always been getting cancer for all of time. It’s the same with mental illnesses. We just know about it now. And with knowing comes ways to help and prevent. This is a sad (but great) example of why we should always be getting those yearly check ups. Catching early signs and stages saves lives. ❤
The question about whether we're seeing more cancer or we just become more aware of it.. I think I read a post by a doctor the other day. He noticed that over the years he's been seeing more and more diagnoses of cancer among young people. So that's that.
Giving trumps Bible like 30 seconds of recognition was the funniest thing I’ve seen in a while 😂😂
Years ago when one of my grandfather’s hunting dogs contracted rabies he took him out back into the woods and put him down. He told my mother it was to protect the family and other animals from contracting the horrible & potentially fatal disease; distemper (aka; rabies).

I too am a natural ginger 🧡 I absolutely slather myself in sunscreen whenever I leave. I also use up protection makeup in winter too. I'm glad your cancer is gone now as well!! ✨️ stay healthy
I think cancer is much more prominent now because of all of the chemicals we allow in our food, cleaning products, and beauty products.
At least in the EU there is more regulation than ever. It's about catching the disease more easily and quicker nowadays and some people still do not wear sunscreen.
I have terminal cancer right now. Likely have a few months left. Trying to make it to my 40th birthday on May 16th. I joke that for most people that’s over the hill. Little did I know mine was more of a cliff.
Anyway studies on cancer becoming more prevelant in younger people is really interesting. From 1990 to 2019 there has been a SIGNIFICANT increase in cancer for people under 40. There are a lot of probable causes but they are still studying it and it’s likely the combination of many things.

To answer your question about cancer, it's both. Recent scientific studies have shown Egyptian mummies having tumors (including a child with leukemia) between 1,500-3,000 years ago. We could also be seeing an artificial rise in cancer due to technological advances connecting the world. Also important to note is that we have carcinogens and plastics that break down which, let's face it, we are only just now becoming aware of how they interaction works on a microscopic level.
I think it's a combination of both. We didn't know how to diagnose it and it's more prevalent because of industrial and human development.
some food additives in the U.S. are banned in the UK because it causes cancer.
5:00 Ken, this is actually how you fix the problem.
If you ban the streamers for the problem, less people are likely to repeat the problem.
Twitch is so scared to ban these people because it makes the platform a decent amount of money, that's what it boils down to.
They would have no problem perma-banning somebody if they had 5 viewers doing the same thing.
I heard that the reason we hear so many cancer diagnoses now as apposed to decades ago is because we're living longer. We eradicated many of the diseases that killed us by age 30, we weren't living long enough to get cancer.
Plus we are screening for it more & more.

Cancer is such a tricky thing. I recently lost my mom to Melanoma, she fought for 3 years after being told she had less then 6 months tho. My heart goes out to anyone who is going through their own fight.
I guess this was the oiled up booty Wade was talking about on Distractible... 💀💀

Trump went on record recently that he wants this all to be a crusade against atheists.
Not everyone believes in the same god.

Your TDS is cringe
Sadly just about every president has used the countries love of God for their own gain. In my opinion they shouldn't talk about their own religious beliefs until after they are or aren't elected. Too many use it as a tool to manipulate.
As a doctor, the increase in the amount of cancer diagnoses the more recent years is a result of a whole lot of factors that work simultaneously: we do have indeed more diagnostic methods and way more advanced technology so we are able to "catch" cancer easier, both people and doctors are more aware and have check ups more frequently, the life expectancy of humans is significantly longer than it was before which means more years of constant "work cycles" for body cells and as a result more chances for either something to go randomly wrong and create cancerous cells or more years for something congenital to develop, and don't even get me started with environmental changes/pollution (the sun's radiation is completely different than it was 5 or 10 years ago so melanomas are popping up everywhere), way of life and habits (way more stress, no time or/and intentions for a healthy lifestyle both nutrition and exercise wise etc). It doesn't surprise me the fact that adult cancer diagnoses go up, what baffles me is that the same increase is noticed in children's and teens' cancer cases, where most of these factors cannot apply. Sorry for the essay, my doctor brain got triggered 😝
My dad has been misdiagnosed with back pain for years until he was finally correctly diagnosed with stomach cancer, a year after the initial diagnosis he passed away from the stomach cancer. That was 2014 and I feel like that nowadays doctors rather scan for cancer than seeking for anything else but cancer.
In my dads case they did not even consider cancer even if he himself asked to be scanned for it just in case.
Regarding cancer, we are frequently improving our capabilities of detecting cancer overall, and also when it is at an early stage or when it is still a precancerous lesion. Also, we have improved the ways of raising awareness (social media and campaigns) so to achieve preventing (most important), screening for and detecting cancer as early as possible. Take care everyone, check with your medical professionals if you have concerns or doubts. (PS: melanoma can occur on the foot and under nails).
I’d honestly like to read a Bible that talks like Trump.
“ And Jesus made the greatest sacrifice, in the history of sacrifices, maybe ever “
«He made the most bread, he made the best bread» «That Pilate guy, I dont like him, i dont like what hes doing. I know him well, i know him a LOT, and he doesnt hate Jesus, he just LOVES Rome»

Life expectancy has risen, and with longer lifespans the percentage of people with cancer skyrocket. It's expected to continue going up with the average lifespan
The whole cancer thing might be both - cancerous materials/PFAS etc. but we're also pushing screenings at younger and younger ages. I had read a few places that it's about a 50% chance that you'll get cancer at some point in your life - but most are easily treated now, thankfully.
Both my parents (70 & 74) found out they had cancer within 3 months of each other in 2022. My mom is on a 5 year pill (after surgery) and my dad only had the surgery to remove his kidney. Both seem to be thriving (for 70 year olds) now in 2024. So unless you get an aggressive cancer, it's a little bit more hopeful.

So I think Trump was helping out a friend. I could be wrong. I’ve heard that Trump is very loyal to his friends. But it still looked like a skit from SNL. 😂😂
You are absolutely correct! It is for Lee Greenwood. The fact that people can't do a simple Google search is Odd because it tells you that. I still love Ken and Buff though❤❤
NOOOOOOOOOO NINJA
My cousin died from melanoma. He was doing well after the first treatments, remission and all.
A journal he had early on in his life mentioned wanting two kids, one son and one daughter.
They had their daughter which was awesome. Melanoma came back full force and was further complicated by his Crohn’s disease.
But… he did have the son. He just didn’t ever get to meet him. I did a speech about him and sent it to my uncle who died a few years later.
Melanoma sucks. Heart conditions suck.
Always found it strange how hard streamers work to find a new meta knowing kids are watching on twitch instead of idk streaming that stuff where that content is made for
Y’all being confused at why trump is selling shows how little you understand if the other side
And you can’t even coherently put a sentence together.
@@Mr_Nobody913 what part was incoherent
@@LugftHuronACthe entire damn sentence
I learnt that a certain historical German dictator had board games made during his rule. I then remembered that Trump had board games and thought how aligned these 2 people could potentially be. Now knowing he has a Bible out really raises them red flags and has the emergency siren's going.
Oh please. Ukraine vs Russia, Israel vs Hamas is all under Bidens presidency. So shush
If you want people to take you seriously stop comparing the n-azis to your political enemies, it’s lazy.
I went from never knowing a single person with cancer, to my mother having pancreatic cancer when I was 18. Flash forward 20 years, and my mother, father, grandfather all havw lost their various battles with cancer. My childhood besty and uncle in law are currently fighting cancer. I've known at least 5 other people that have won their battles with cancer, including the mother of my besty. SOMETHING has made cancer more prevalent in the last 20 years.
Rates of cancer have gone up and some of that is environmental factors. However, things like increased lifespan, increased survivability of cancer, and just better detection methods factor into that also.
I read my Bible every day... each time you read it you find scripture that pops out and truly speaks to you. You know you've read it before, but it jumps out at you as if you never understood what it was saying until this moment.
Anyway, I have my own Bible, another that was given to my Dad when he was born (1945) that belonged to his great grandfather (1870s) and another Bible that was my great grandfather's (he was born in 1884) that was given to him by HIS great grandfather (born in the late 1700s). That Bible has a print date of 1782.
I was fortunate that my family has had a longevity gene or something, for my great grandfather who was born in 1884 lived to be 102. I was born in 1968, so I got to know him up until his passing until I graduated high school. He was sharp as a tack, mentally, and it was a bout of pneumonia that finally got him.
Putting his life into perspective, he was 16 when 1900 rolled around. He saw the Wright Brothers develop the first airplane and watched with my family the first space shuttle launch. He fought in WWI but was too old to fight in WWII. For American History projects in my high school he would come in on "living history" week and speak about different event through our history. Being that HE knew his own great grandfather and heard stories from him, he had first and secondhand knowledge of ALL of America's history up until 1986...
Sorry, I went off on that tangent because having his Bible spans the entirety of America's history. I can only imagine 200 years from now some child is going to get their great-great grandparents "Trump Bible" and I wonder what society will be like when that happens.
I imagine it’ll be a lot like getting a Hitler Bible.
That’s incredible. You had an amazing dad and that’s a blessing that you were able to spend so much time with him.
Honestly, you can't hate on that level of genius! That woman is innovative! What will she think of next?
the stats for australian based melanoma patients will be scewed slightly from the rest of the world. Aussies are the actually extremely at risk of skin cancer to the point where a lot of aussies actually have a vitamin D defiency because we are advised to stay inside (according to my doctor)
i think its something as high as 1/3 aussies will deal with skin cancer at one point in their lives. I am 21 and have already had two similarly aged friends have moles removed for this exact reason
As a Lutheran Christian, Ken's statement about more Christians needing to read their bibles is 100% accurate. My pastors have said that very thing many times.
I remember getting the Google News about the Bibles and was just not surprised at all with there having been a frumpy bear and other Trump themed shit-
Toasty morning to you all!
There are a few factors for why we hear about so many people having cancer now. One is the media aspect that spotlights it, another is increased life expectancy. We simply get cancer because we live long enough to and other things don’t kill us off first. And third is probably increased exposure to carcinogens.
So much for the separation of church and state, now the only thing that keeps it separate is how many pages till the end of the chapter. 🙄
I don't have a problem with Trump selling Bibles. Everyone knows where that money is going, it's not like people are going to buy it and be like "This was for a political campaign?!?!" It's basically a fundraising gift. Plenty of people do that kind of thing
That’s why he’s selling it. So he won’t have to spend his money to pay off his court ordered fine since he can’t use his oldest sons or friends for loans.
Now him adding the constitution into it might be a bit much. We don’t need to add things into it, but people act like bibles are always free. Someone has to buy them and then give them to people. People also buy bibles every day. I don’t see how this is different.
I hope he sells them all! Trump 2024!
lots of love as (my) first comment (ever) ❤
Dammit, thought it was me😂

8:30 cancer is so prevalent nowadays because of how long we survive, as well as better screening technology. We don't die from infections near as much so our bodies have more time to develop cancerous mutations. There is also environmental changes, but I'd expect the factors to be more like exposure to exhaust in cities than diet-related, unless we mean obesity.
as for the twitch prolonged body part thing for some reason makes me think people are going to flash every once in a while on purpose so wouldn’t it be better to have on their tos to not include it at all?
