Bose Videowave - 6x 2.75" Subwoofers - Music test in enclosure (& Slow-Mo)

-Here is a video of 6x 2.75" Bose woofers playing together in their housing! They're the beefiest sub-3" drivers known to existence, being also incredibly tall (about 6,5cm). They can be found in a Bose Videowave LCD TV, used them as part of the internal subwoofer ass'y. This entire cast housing was inside of a big T-Line Waveguide.
-Finally got myself a sub unit after eleven years of research. Got them on eBay for quite an expensive price, but given the extreme rarity of them and the insanity of the drivers themselves, I couldn't resist myself.
-The single driver P/N is "Bose 314489001" (as said on the sticker on the magnet), it has an impedance of 6Ohms and it has soft foam surround, paper cone and aluminium basket. The voice coil is about 1" big but very tall (about 5cm tall, the entire driver is about 6,5cm so). See my other video about them for parameters and Free-Air test.
-The subwoofer housing ass'y is entirely made of solid cast aluminium (weights about 5kgs in total) and it's completely sealed with rubber gasket, except for a rectangular hole surrounded by a foam gasket where the waveguide should be mounted to. Even without the waveguide, this subwoofer is capable of hitting 30hz in my room (barely hearable but still!).
A digital low-pass filter was applied to it as it sounds horrible playing in full-range.

Thanks for watching, this video was just to show how impressive this subwoofer can be! I suggest using headphones as it gets very deep... camera mic couldn't really pick how much deep this thing goes!
Also, notice how this video is in 4K: I didn't know I was shooting videos in such a high-res with my phone until I started editing, so yeah this was an "accident"... a good one!

E' esattamente quello che ho fatto, nella descrizione menziono un filtro passa-basso digitale. Ho comunque lasciato un po' di "treble" altrimenti il video suonava che un continuo "woob woob" e basta. Prima di usare il filtro non imnmagini che casino facevano sti wooferini... ovviamente suonava male. Eh lo so che hanno bisogno di quello, spero di trovare l'originale un giorno. Hahaha lo specchio poi rigorosamente spaccato!

Nope, they have no mechanical noises at all (see my Free-Air video). Those noises you hear are air turbolences coming out of the opened side of the housing.
