Actual tip : - if you are going to stay at a strangers house, try to look for a house with kids. if a adult answers probably ask “do you have any kids?” if they say “why?” say “I was trying to find friends.” and if they say they have kids and they show you them and the kids seem free it’s probably a safe house. then after that you can tell them you ran away and you need help and if you can stay with them.
Tip: let them call the kids out, don’t follow them inside the house. Also learn to lock pick and make sure to hide ur bobby pins somewhere secret in ur hair

Also, I’d like to recommend some things you should bring with you: *Big backpack that can hold many things (but not too big for you to not be able to quickly travel) *Hgihly nutritious/filling food if u can steal it from wherever you are (nuts, dried fruits, tuna, olives etc.) and whatever you can get. *Water. As much as you can get (unless u know places with water fountains, besides school) *Warm clothing (for winter and at night. Cotton sweaters, jeans, sweatpants etc.) and breathable clothing (for warm days. Tank tops are a no, try something like cotton clothing or linen.) *Hygiene products (deodorant, toothpaste &toothbrush, put into a ziplock bag if possible.) Don’t forget feminine hygiene products if u are female *2 Blankets (preferably in a large handbag) + a comfy pillow *A comfort item (Studfed animal, blankie and the likes. I promise it’ll help you get through this.) *As much money as you can, steal from your guardians (only in the house you are currently seated in.) *Electronics + phone charger & cord And this is all I can think of right now. You can get through this!

if you ever have terrible family life you should either contact a friend to call the police or contact schools or just contact the police in general, instead of actually running away the risks are way too high when you are alone and running away

i know these are obviously staged, but if you are planning on running away for any reason, PLEASE make sure you have a definite place to say. wandering around in fields and sleeping outside (especially in urban areas) is EXTREMELY dangerous. always call some form of law enforcement or help of any kind before you go through with running away. there are people who CAN help you.

Please don't actually do this alone or without something to protect you, I ran away for a day when I was younger, around eleven. I was almost attacked by drug addicts if it wasn't for a teenage girl. It's really risky and I only recommend doing it if you have a car and atleast a suitcase of supplies instead of just a school backpack. If you are running away, Instead of packing a single water bottle and crisps, Pack as much protein and nourishment rich foods as possible, And bring at least over £100. If it is just you then £100 should last you about 1-2 weeks, maybe longer if you avoid public transportation. Don't sleep in public areas like alleyways and benches and do try and bring those lightweight pop-up tents that are foldable if you plan on staying in forests/fields. I wish you luck if you have no other choice. And also, Take advantage of 3:00-4:00pm. It's around the safest time to get food if you are near a school and workers will suspect you less.
also helpful is extra clothes including for cold or rainy weather, hygeine supplies and a first aid kit, water, a water bottle you can refill at fountains, ID and library card is good to have, maps of the area, a space blanket if you have one. peanut butter, dried meat, and stuff like trail mix can have protein and not need to be cooked or stored. something to defend yourself with like bear spray is also good.
Just don't run away. If you have really bad parents and/or depression, please try to contact anyone you trust and report you parent if they're bad. Running away from your problems don't fix they, it will only make them worse and later on you will have to face them.
True, money is a big necessity. But when you're running away and you have no supplies, food, shelter, water, and heat are the MOST IMPORTANT of them all. If you find yourself stranded nowhere to go, go to a relative's house, if not, then go to the woods, maybe you can acquire the possibility to learn how to make a teepee, a hut, or simply somewhere to sleep in.

y'all, I dont recommend running away. I think it's best to talk to any family member you have or talk to your parents about your feelings. I ran away because my mom was drunk and couldn't take care of me. My 18 yr sister went to her grandmas house and this was at 5 in the morning. I was young at this time I wouldn't expect to be kidnapped! And I went throughout alot. I lived .only a couple minutes away from my aunt so I walked there. I saw fire works and stuff but it was difficult crossing the street.people were honking cars at me and screaming at me. This one guy I always see helped me see my aunt and my.mom was so angry at me. She still gets a bit drunk but she's ok.now

this is to anyone who is thinking about running away, I know your parents may be really fucked up but running away is really is not worth it. There are so many dangers you may come across whilst running away, times will get better I promise. I personally feel better after writing all my stresses and worries on a piece of paper and throw it away, it helps me to relax and I hope it does for you too. The cell service provider on your phone can access your phone’s location and the location can legally be given to authorities. That’s just BEGGING to be found. So. This is so nostalgic, it reminds me of when I was 5 I would always say I'm running away. I would tell aka threaten my parents that I'm running away, then I would pack up my mickey mouse suitcase with everything in my closet at the time and then when I'm finished I would say "I'm just joking! Hello! I have never ran away before but I have taken safety classes and know some about camping and living on the street. If you are planning to run away, here are some stuff that could be useful. 1. Pack a spare change of clothes, gum, snacks, water, anything you need to survive. 2. Get at least 20 dollars. You can get stuff from vending machines, dollar stores, or a little something from a fast food place. 3. Know at least a little self defense. It doesn’t matter if you take classes or if you learn from a CZcams video. Also, carry pepper spray/kn1fe. 4. Do not tell anyone unless you can trust them with it. 5. Go somewhere far. 6. Don’t trust people on the street, go with your gut. 7. Don’t run away just because. If you have shitty parents or feel like you are in danger, that is a valid reason. ❤❤❤

As someone who has actually run away from home before, this is either fake or just stupid. DON’T BRING A PHONE, it’s a tracking device. And even worse, don’t post where you are all over the internet for the cops to see. I’m not encouraging anyone to do this, but if you are, just know that it’s not as cute and funny as TikTok makes it seem. If you get caught, prepare to always be on the cops’ radar for a while, and to just destroy your family’s mental health and trust like I did. It took a while to gain it back. I hated my parents back then, and as much as I don’t like them now, I’m still not running away.

If your dad isn’t home one day, make him lose his phone then steal it and take parental controls off, get a new Apple ID, change your identity (if you have long hair cut it short, if you have short hair grow it out, wear shoes to make yourself taller, if you have kool aid or food dye use it to dye your hair.), pack essentials (toothpaste, toothbrush, biggest water bottle you can find, lots of food that doesn’t need to be microwaved or cooked, no candy or things that don’t give much energy, blanket, sleeping bag if you have one, a really puffy coat, and your phone as well as a charger.), and have a plan on where to stay. (Don’t go immediately into buses, don’t go to bus stations, avoid police stations, if there’s an officer don’t avoid them it will make you suspicious, and if you go to shops make sure you go different hours so it’s different employees.)

good tip(s) from someone who never ran away, so dont entirely trust me bring a backpack full of supplies. food, water, clothes, you name it. get a sleeping bag. if you dont, bring a blanket. it can help alot get money, or use ur allowance. for jobs, you can baby/doggy sit, mow someones lawn, or just go around a neighborhood asking people if they need any of their chores done for money. i reccomend running away WITH somebody, its better to bring someone along w u, but dont force them into it please do not record it. i will say this over and over again. people can find your location or even call the cops on u if u record. even if u do, make sure you dont share anything too specific. especially if ur parents know your account. for ur phone, make sure your parents/guardian cant track your phone. thats important school. i dont know what to say abt this but i dont think u should go bc the teachers/staff/students at school can tell ur parents that your here. think abt running away before u do. if ur scared to run away... I don’t think you guys should encourage this person to run away. You need to understand that there is many DANGEROUS risks to running away such as kidnapping, SA, and MANY, many more (unfortunately the world we live in). If your parents are pretty nice, you should talk to them about how they’re treating you is making you feel this way. If not, you should talk to another close family member, friend, or even teacher that you can trust about your situation.
I’ve tried to run away because my parents don’t respect or understand me but they caught me and stopped me just as I was about to jump out my window with my stuff. - if you are going to stay at a strangers house, try to look for a house with kids. if a adult answers probably ask “do you have any kids?” if they say “why?” say “I was trying to find friends.” and if they say they have kids and they show you them and the kids seem free it’s probably a safe house. then after that you can tell them you ran away and you need help and if you can stay with them.

Although my parents arent abusive, my friends parents are. They are narcissists and only want to start arguments so that they can attack or scream at him. I wish you luck in your endeavors my friend :). I also always wanted to run away, but my environment hasn’t gotten bad enough yet. Also, I’d like to recommend some things you should bring with you:
*Big backpack that can hold many things (but not too big for you to not be able to quickly travel)
*Hgihly nutritious/filling food if u can steal it from wherever you are (nuts, dried fruits, tuna, olives etc.) and whatever you can get.
*Water. As much as you can get (unless u know places with water fountains, besides school)
*Warm clothing (for winter and at night. Cotton sweaters, jeans, sweatpants etc.) and breathable clothing (for warm days. Tank tops are a no, try something like cotton clothing or linen.)
*Hygiene products (deodorant, toothpaste &toothbrush, put into a ziplock bag if possible.) Don’t forget feminine hygiene products if u are female
*2 Blankets (preferably in a large handbag) + a comfy pillow
*A comfort item (Studfed animal, blankie and the likes. I promise it’ll help you get through this.)
*As much money as you can, steal from your guardians (only in the house you are currently seated in.)
*Electronics + phone charger & cord

i know these are obviously staged, but if you are planning on running away for any reason, PLEASE make sure you have a definite place to say. wandering around in fields and sleeping outside (especially in urban areas) is EXTREMELY dangerous.
always call some form of law enforcement or help of any kind before you go through with running away. there are people who CAN help you.
The entire goal of the law enforcement is to stop you from running away, so do NOT call the cops and tell them them you’re running away

Please don't actually do this alone or without something to protect you, I ran away for a day when I was younger, around eleven. I was almost attacked by drug addicts if it wasn't for a teenage girl. It's really risky and I only recommend doing it if you have a car and atleast a suitcase of supplies instead of just a school backpack. If you are running away, Instead of packing a single water bottle and crisps, Pack as much protein and nourishment rich foods as possible, And bring at least over £100. If it is just you then £100 should last you about 1-2 weeks, maybe longer if you avoid public transportation. Don't sleep in public areas like alleyways and benches and do try and bring those lightweight pop-up tents that are foldable if you plan on staying in forests/fields. I wish you luck if you have no other choice. And also, Take advantage of 3:00-4:00pm. It's around the safest time to get food if you are near a school and workers will suspect you less.
also helpful is extra clothes including for cold or rainy weather, hygeine supplies and a first aid kit, water, a water bottle you can refill at fountains, ID and library card is good to have, maps of the area, a space blanket if you have one. peanut butter, dried meat, and stuff like trail mix can have protein and not need to be cooked or stored. something to defend yourself with like bear spray is also good.
Just don't run away. If you have really bad parents and/or depression, please try to contact anyone you trust and report you parent if they're bad. Running away from your problems don't fix they, it will only make them worse and later on you will have to face them.

True, money is a big necessity. But when you're running away and you have no supplies, food, shelter, water, and heat are the MOST IMPORTANT of them all. If you find yourself stranded nowhere to go, go to a relative's house, if not, then go to the woods, maybe you can acquire the possibility to learn how to make a teepee, a hut, or simply somewhere to sleep in.

y'all, I dont recommend running away. I think it's best to talk to any family member you have or talk to your parents about your feelings. But if you live in a place with people rarely stealing, kidnapping, etc. I know that's kinda hard to find a place like that nowadays but yeaa.

I know your parents may be really fucked up but running away is really is not worth it. There are so many dangers you may come across whilst running away, times will get better I promise. I personally feel better after writing all my stresses and worries on a piece of paper and throw it away, it helps me to relax and I hope it does for you too. Hello! I have never ran away before but I have taken safety classes and know some about camping and living on the street.
If you are planning to run away, here are some stuff that could be useful.
1. Pack a spare change of clothes, gum, snacks, water, anything you need to survive.
2. Get at least 20 dollars. You can get stuff from vending machines, dollar stores, or a little something from a fast food place.
3. Know at least a little self defense. It doesn’t matter if you take classes or if you learn from a CZcams video. Also, carry pepper spray/kn1fe.
4. Do not tell anyone unless you can trust them with it.
5. Go somewhere far.
6. Don’t trust people on the street, go with your gut.
7. Don’t run away just because. If you have shitty parents or feel like you are in danger, that is a valid reason.

As someone who has actually run away from home before, this is either fake or just stupid. DON’T BRING A PHONE, it’s a tracking device. And even worse, don’t post where you are all over the internet for the cops to see. I’m not encouraging anyone to do this, but if you are, just know that it’s not as cute and funny as TikTok makes it seem. If you get caught, prepare to always be on the cops’ radar for a while, and to just destroy your family’s mental health and trust like I did. It took a while to gain it back. I hated my parents back then, and as much as I don’t like them now, I’m still not running away.

I'm thinking of running away cause my dad's a zoophile.. /srs
I have ran away before but he found me.
We moved after that and now I live in a shady neighborhood. I'm thinking of asking my grandma if I can live with her, but she's kinda transphobic and rlly strict. I would live with my other dad but he lives in a car and I've talked to him about it and he supports my first dad (the zoophile) I'm lost and idk what to do.
I need help
I would call CPS but my dad doesn't pay for my phone service and being a zoophile isn't illegal sadly if ur not doing anything to the animal... And even though my dad isn't doing anything to the animals I'm still concerned for mine and their safety.... My dad is also a narcissist ...
Some other details,
My dad installed parental controls to my phone and that tracks my location.
do you have any old devices your father hasn’t turned parental controls on?
If your dad isn’t home one day, make him lose his phone then steal it and take parental controls off, get a new Apple ID, change your identity (if you have long hair cut it short, if you have short hair grow it out, wear shoes to make yourself taller, if you have kool aid or food dye use it to dye your hair.), pack essentials (toothpaste, toothbrush, biggest water bottle you can find, lots of food that doesn’t need to be microwaved or cooked, no candy or things that don’t give much energy, blanket, sleeping bag if you have one, a really puffy coat, and your phone as well as a charger.), and have a plan on where to stay. (Don’t go immediately into buses, don’t go to bus stations, avoid police stations, if there’s an officer don’t avoid them it will make you suspicious, and if you go to shops make sure you go different hours so it’s different employees.)

good tip(s) from someone who never ran away, so dont entirely trust me
bring a backpack full of supplies. food, water, clothes, you name it.
get a sleeping bag. if you dont, bring a blanket. it can help alot
get money, or use ur allowance.
for jobs, you can baby/doggy sit, mow someones lawn, or just go around a neighborhood asking people if they need any of their chores done for money.
i reccomend running away WITH somebody, its better to bring someone along w u, but dont force them into it
please do not record it. i will say this over and over again. people can find your location or even call the cops on u if u record. even if u do, make sure you dont share anything too specific. especially if ur parents know your account.
for ur phone, make sure your parents/guardian cant track your phone. thats important
school. i dont know what to say abt this but i dont think u should go bc the teachers/staff/students at school can tell ur parents that your here.
think abt running away before u do. if ur scared to run away... DONT BE SCARED TO BRING THE POLICE INTO UR SITUATION. they can help alot.

i'm rlly tempted to run, not bc of my parents but bc of my brother. my brother is abusive, he tries to choke me, doesn't even care about if I die, slaps me for trying to talk to him, etc, and he NEVER gets in trouble for it. might post updates if I do.

If you do run away, be careful. There are crazy people out there and I would stay away from the woods. I’ve seen some things happen in the woods..

1:09 tip if you're trying to run away and don't want to be caught by police maybe try ditching your phone so they CAN'T track you and also maybe don't run straight into a town and break into what was probably your own house considering how clean it looked and the fact it had just about everything you needed and if it was someone else's place that's a great way to be found and rack up a couple of criminal charges it's sad people have to do this or go through it
i’ve wanted to run away for awhile, and my parents are pretty nice, and they are not abusive, but they are homophobic/transphobic and they aren’t really taking my identity seriously. i feel trapped. i want to get out of this situation, but i don’t know if running away is the right thing to do. if yall have any advice i’d appreciate it it thx!
are they like threatening you? if not i dont think you should run away unless they are abusing you mentally or physically
If the situation is bad but u don't feel safe try making a plan before u run away, like a bag that's packed and ready and a guaranteed place to go like a close friend's house
If you really want to run, here are some tips:
Bring a charger with smth that can plug into a wall.
If ur gonna go in shops and stuff go between 16:00 and 17:00
Make sure to bring more than 100 of what ever money you use (I personally recommend 300-600 it will last you until you find some type of job)
Try sleeping in 24/7 shops never sleep in public unless you have a friend to take shifts
Bring some sort of weapon
Bring a suitcase AND backpack of things.
If you run into a cop tell them your just traveling to see what it’s like on your own and you have your parent/guardian address and phone
Make ur own Apple ID and all of that
Make sure somebody you know is near you (run away with a friend or smth)
I don’t think you guys should encourage this person to run away. You need to understand that there is many DANGEROUS risks to running away such as kidnapping, SA, and MANY, many more (unfortunately the world we live in). If your parents are pretty nice, you should talk to them about how they’re treating you is making you feel this way. If not, you should talk to another close family member, friend, or even teacher that you can trust about your situation.
If you arent scared for your safety then you should probably just wait it out cause you'll certainly be worried about your safety if you go

I’ve tried to run away because my parents don’t respect or understand me but they caught me and stopped me just as I was about to jump out my window with my stuff. They forced me to come back into the house and they asked why on Earth I was running away. I was crying and screaming at them but they jsut didn’t understand the pain they’d caused me.

Try to get help this is a tough situation I would run away if it is the only thing that will keep you alive and happy.

I might going to admit it. I'm planning on running away. My parents constantly yell at me, sometimes jokingly (they say it's joke, but I can't tell whether something is a joke or not), or the fake insult me. Other times they stress me out so bad and play serious favorites with my other brothers. They definetly are trying to control who I am friends with too. My best friend and I don't like anything about where we live, and I'm thinking of asking xem to come, but idk. The only thing stopping me right now is guilt. But eventually that guilt will be gone and it's quickly running out. Another thing is scorpions. And rattlesnakes. I hate Arizona, my house, my parents, and my neighborhood so much ;-;

I’ve honestly been planning on running away for a month now. My sister and mom have a terrible relationship and I’ve always wanted to be free sometimes I day dream that I’m running threw a field with my friend and all I feel is freedom than I begin to cry because I know if I run away my parents would be extremely worried. And I’m worried that my mom would kill herself if I leave home. I was planning on running away with my friend but she doesn’t seem to confident about it. All I want is to be free.

If you're gonna do this bring a least theses things
Blanket٫ doesn't have to be big but it needs to be warm
Money٫ if you are gonna do this stock up on alot of money or a least enough you have can survive off until you find a job
Heavy jackets٫ stay warm and dont freeze
Food٫ no candy or things that do not offer alot of energy or protein.
Changes of clothes
Sleeping bag if you really want to
Hair brushes٫ normal hygiene products too

Water٫ or drinks no sodas btw you will only be thirstier if you drink only soda
Also know were you're going or have a plan
All these people could have prepared SOOOO much better, instead they brought only 100 bucks in some cases and bought candy and not any food to sustain them for longer periods or improve their health in some of these seriously resource deprived environments. Not to mention wether is against them, their bags should be overflowing with material and backup plan after backup plan. Instead, it just looks quirky and brainless..

DO NOT run away unless you are in immediate danger. And if you do, make sure to learn survivalism/Bushcraft and you have an understanding of what your plan is. Bring your most needed necessities

My dad used to run away. He would do it after he was tired of life, but then eventually he would realize that he needed to go home. I ran away once, I got to my friends house, cried, then ran back.
i did this with my group of friends and we was all being dumb teens and doin bad things and i got found in 8 hours the first time💀💀 i was reported missing and alot happend and then the second time it took abt 1 day for them to find me and i got forced to move in with my dad and i absolutely hate it bc i can no longer see my bf or friends and i have to work VERY hard to go back and ive been here abt 6 months and i wanna actually kms. if yall want a story time lmk n ill comment it
