I listened to this when I ran away from home, I was missing for 2 days, I was living in my old house, no one lived there anymore. I had the keys for the house with me. I felt alive tbh. When I arrived at that house, I messaged my parents "Don't worry I'm fine, I am not kidnapped, lost or in danger, I'll be back sure I promise :)" and I sent them a selfie so they know I'm ok. It was at 4:30am. The house was miserable and lonely but I made it more bright. In the morning, my mom texted me "Honey, can you send me a video of you so i can see your face? I already miss youuu" So I did send her a video of me saying "Hi mom, I am ok and I will be back before you even notice, I promise!" So after 2 days, I came back. It was a long journey but I had to return.
as some one who has recently ran away this really helps i have been fighting for months and the fight is finally over and i am finally happy with my partner who helps me in every way they can ( thank you so much for this)

It's not worth it, trust me. I've done it before, and it's horrible. The police got called, so did CPS, and it was horrible. It's really not worth it, please don't make the same mistake I did- And if you do, please for the love of the gods bring food, water, and make sure you have a place to go to, a friends house would be better, and warn them beforehand. Make sure their parents dont have your parents numbers aswell. Made that mistake aswell. :/

And that feeling that warm at home feeling sticks. You never wanna go back. And you go further and further till.. you did it you finally accomplished what you wanted without those who held you back without the pain from once before. Now you can choose your path do you want to connect with those who held you back before or choose to forget them and move on weather that means family or friends you can always make a new family and make new friends along the way.

There's nothing bad going on in my life, I honestly think it's really great, but i life in a tiny apartment with my parents and brother and there's almost no space, so I think the thing I really wanna do is move out. Also I wanna decorate the place but my parents never buy me anything to do so with. I also wanna decorate myself (like with clothes), but they dont buy me that either because we're broke. I wanna live in a treehouse in the middle of the woods with overgrown vines coming from the windows and flowers growing all around it with fairies and way too many kittens for anyone, but then I also wanna spend my weekends partying in the city and probably getting way too overstimulated to stay any longer than an hour, then just leaving the party to go shopping and then crash at one of my friends' apartments. "I wanna be adored, all I ever wanted was the world" type shit. In fact, I want the best of both worlds, is that too much to ask? Also, I meant to add this sooner, but I feel like if I were to run away, I would end up doing it when I'm in college, because I would have to be so prepared for anything with all kindsa money, passport, I'd have to know where I'm going and what I'm gonna do when I get there, like down to the apartment I'm gonna live in, and if I do actually end up building a treehouse I'd need all the supplies and paint and decorations ready to go, I'd have to know the exact location where I'd build it. I ran away a few weeks ago, it was different then I would think. It was scary but mesmerizing somehow.. Seeing my neighborhood without a bother in the calming rain was something unusual that felt.. strange but I don’t know how to explain it, I just got this somewhat comforting feeling. I was scared honestly, I was scared if my parents would yell when I came back. It was pretty cold out so I was shivering a little. It was a cloudy day at 7 pm in September, I had no supplies or coats whatsoever. I stopped a few times to talk to elders watching the rain, but one point I had to stop at Seven-Eleven because it was too cold outside. When I got back home after about 30-40 minutes it was time for the moment of truth if my parents were mad, they were furious and shocked. They still seemed to care though, I ran to my room and cried for about 25 minutes. My eyes felt so heavy and I almost passed out. At that point I hadn’t eaten anything in days, I was starving myself and I was on my period. So the cramps hurt a lot.. and being hungry as fuck didn’t help either.. I think I won’t run away again for a while.
I'm running away in august. I'll be 18, and i'd be starting my senior year in highschool, but i still wouldn't have freedom. I can't even have my savings account i've been saving so much for until i'm 20. I can't express myself here, and my family argues everyday. There's nothing bad going on in my life, I honestly think it's really great, but i life in a tiny apartment with my parents and brother and there's almost no space, so I think the thing I really wanna do is move out. Also I wanna decorate the place but my parents never buy me anything to do so with. I also wanna decorate myself (like with clothes), but they dont buy me that either because we're broke. They won't let me get a job either until this summer, and even then I have to drop it for school in August. I just want my own money and my own place and my own free will. I wanna live in a treehouse in the middle of the woods with overgrown vines coming from the windows and flowers growing all around it with fairies and way too many kittens for anyone, but then I also wanna spend my weekends partying in the city and probably getting way too overstimulated to stay any longer than an hour, then just leaving the party to go shopping and then crash at one of my friends' apartments. "I wanna be adored, all I ever wanted was the world" type shit. In fact, I want the best of both worlds, is that too much to ask?
Also, I meant to add this sooner, but I feel like if I were to run away, I would end up doing it when I'm in college, because I would have to be so prepared for anything with all kindsa money, passport, I'd have to know where I'm going and what I'm gonna do when I get there, like down to the apartment I'm gonna live in, and if I do actually end up building a treehouse I'd need all the supplies and paint and decorations ready to go, I'd have to know the exact location where I'd build it. I'd have to do tons of research and know every single thing and how everything is gonna go before I pack my bags and walk out the door. I'm way too paranoid for that shit.
So I'm planning to runaway from my home, because my dad is planning to control my life when I turn 18 and we argue alot sometimes he's nice and caring then next thing you know he's yelling at me, blaming me for things, cursing at me, sometimes it gets physical, and I just can't live like that anymore and we are low on money at the moment so that's also another reason why I want to runaway but I'm scared to runaway I'm planning to go in a group but I don't really have any friends so this playlist is being helpful to me in a way

I ran away a few weeks ago, it was different then I would think. It was scary but mesmerizing somehow.. Seeing my neighborhood without a bother in the calming rain was something unusual that felt.. strange but I don’t know how to explain it, I just got this somewhat comforting feeling. I was scared honestly, I was scared if my parents would yell when I came back. It was pretty cold out so I was shivering a little. It was a cloudy day at 7 pm in September, I had no supplies or coats whatsoever. I stopped a few times to talk to elders watching the rain, but one point I had to stop at Seven-Eleven because it was too cold outside. When I got back home after about 30-40 minutes it was time for the moment of truth if my parents were mad, they were furious and shocked. They still seemed to care though, I ran to my room and cried for about 25 minutes. My eyes felt so heavy and I almost passed out. At that point I hadn’t eaten anything in days, I was starving myself and I was on my period. So the cramps hurt a lot.. and being hungry as fuck didn’t help either.. I think I won’t run away again for a while.
I'm running away in august. I'll be 18, and i'd be starting my senior year in highschool, but i still wouldn't have freedom. I can't even have my savings account i've been saving so much for until i'm 20. I can't express myself here, and my family argues everyday. They are genuinely nice and kind people, but they make me sick. My best friend that moved to kansas is picking me up, and im going to change my hair and use my new name, i'm gonna work and live with them :)
i also already got a new phone nobody knows about, changed my accounts, cut mulltiple contacts, and many people already call me kris. If others ask for me, they won't know, and they can't track me.
