Very useful for running for a mile
Normal ice works aswell
@@grum4362yeah but the molds work a little better if your goal is to almost entirely fill it with ice
A little edit someone requested: I may have been wrong, I have not read all the replies that people have given because it’s truly not that important. I find this ice hack awesome and convenient. I apologize from the deepest depths of my heart if I was incorrect about the physics of the ice and the Stanley cup that I truly don’t care about. Also for the one who claimed I was childish, I’m very sorry that being possibly incorrect makes me childish, I hope you realize that treating someone like crap for a simple mistake does not encourage them to grow or learn more.
@@iAmTheOreo69its just ice💀
How tf u gonna run a mile with a Stanley in your hand, goofy ah
@iAmTheOreo69 honestly I'm going to have to call you on that the space efficiency of the Ice Cube doesn't matter because water is fluid and it will fill any space so whether you have two giant ice cubes for a whole bunch of smaller ones as long as they have the same volume you'll be able to fit the same amount of water. But because the large ice cubes have a lower surface area than many ice cubes would for the same volume of ice, they last longer, but they also don't cool your drink as much.
imagine being this rich that you need a specific ice mold for your water bottle
ong
I love the way ice cubes sound in water bottles lol but I can see how it could be annoying for others. I really like how it fits in other cups too, that seems to make it worth it.
I don't think it's specific to stanley cups? I think it's just a general ice mold for any kind of bottle or cup
I mean some people are practically attached at the hip to those Stanleys. If you use it every day then why not
More wasteful than anything. Also think of the clutter at these peoples homes if they collect single use gadgets like this x-x

That was soooo cute in the clear glass. Such a great idea for mixed drinks!!
Chuckled at the irony of hearing "I hate single use products" in a video entirely about something that makes fancy ice
Fancy ice, for a specific brand of water bottles that have become a collection item, defeating the purpose of a reusable water bottle 😭
this lol 🤦🏼♀️ hates single use items proceeds to be something utterly unnecessary
i mean, it's like any other ice tray just in a different shape lol, it's still just ice
@@autumnbum_ So why bother buying this tray at all? Just use a regular mass produced square ice tray that people has already been using and not a very specific item for a very specific type of customer?
@@creamy_croissant why buy any ice tray at all if that’s the case? it’s all ice, just different shapes. I would like these personally for any cups tbh
The water bottle Maximalism is honestly crazy. The whole purpose of having a water bottle is for sustainability. The fact that they made a whole product that you can only use for this one water bottle or a few types of cups even though regular ice can go in any water bottle or cup normally or without extra work is wild. It’s not just a niche product, but a wasteful one.
Yeah, I don’t get the whole trend in general because it’s just spending money on impulse buys.
She literally proved in the video that you can use the ice in a regular cup 😂😂
A block of ice is going to melt slower than ice cubes...
@@SaraHinatait's an insulated bottle, ice shouldn't be melting faster than you consume the water and if it does it's a piss poor insulated bottle
@@SaraHinataIn one of those regular ice lasts a really long time anyway. I got a Stanley water bottle from the camping section at Walmart before they made the viral one. That thing will keep ice all day in a hot car in July.

I was in the fire service. In the summer we’d freeze 2 litre plastic bottles of water the night before duty. We’d pour some out so when the ice expanded it wouldn’t crack the plastic. As the ice melted you’d drink the chilly water to keep cool; adding more room temp water which would chill down.
It could last a fair few hours.
this was such a lifesaver for me back in school during hot summers!! used to lay a 1/3 filled bottle in the freezer over night and fill the rest with water in the morning before i left.

It's still valid to say "I don't like the concept of this in general because it seems like it's only got a single use." But she did show that the ice cubes work in other cups so it turns out it's not just a single-use product anyway (at least if your cups are the right size to hold the ice cubes).
@@Khalexnet that’s not what single use means tho. single use refers to things like straws or balloons or other things that are not reusable. we have a single use for curtains yet no one is giving curtains a 8/10 just for only having the function of a curtain?
In a way, many curtains might be single-use. You put 'em up, leave 'em up, dust or vacuum maybe, and then replace them when you redecorate, which might mean they are used once without any time not in use. Granted, loose approach to the definition and outside the intended meaning of the term. So many comments here are conflating single purpose and single-use.
A plastic bottle of Dasani, Arrowhead, or such is single-use. Sure you can refill it, but the durability is targeted for one time being emptied post-purchase, and then it is "recycled" or thrown out.
Incidentally, I have seen single-use sheets, where the top layer of a fitted sheet tears off. It was some super compostable fabric maybe? But still seemed dumb.

its not single use... you can reuse them when you just put water then freeze them

Why doesn’t she ever give the items that did what they were supposed to a ten. What’s the point?
According to her, she had said that to give them 10/10 to the products you have to surprise her and exceed her expectations, (I don't know what she expects from a cooler, to dance and barbecue? She already did this with many products).
that filter is just the best ngl
thank god there's a ice tray to make exactly three ice cubes.
I’m just picturing it falling onto my face😂
I think the use in the cup is even better as a sensitive teeth person I hate when ice touches my teeth so I usually go without it or use a straw but this is cute and fancy so maybe I'll get it when I'm rich enough
So instead of smaller ice cubes touching your teeth, you'll just have one huge one smashing up against them 😭

The use of it as an ice cube in a normal glass is so beautiful! Especially since it took you no effort to have it look so pretty

I know that you don't remember 3rd grade physics but this is no more space efficient than having a big chunk of ice inside

That’s actually a smart product. Like tube ice but bigger and for glasses. It’s good that it includes 3 sizes
You could do some beautiful fruit and floral arrangements in those cubes. Very neat

For all the commenters 10/10 isnt just 'product works as intended' it's for products that go above and beyond to deliver something really useful
This is innovative, and useful. It’s designed to fit an exact sized cup and it WOULD if she had that cup! And it has more than one use. She simply refuses to rate products 10/10 and atp im pretty sure it’s for the engagement because at least half the comments are about the rating being an 8.
@@Kyiecutie if 10/10 is for things that are simply good then what's the point of having all the other 9 numbers, just good, ok, and bad will do the trick. Taking into account price, functionality, ease of use, space taken up, etc. makes for a much more well rounded review. I'm not saying I necessarily agree with all of her ratings or her methodology, but giving everything that you're happy with a 10/10 lessens the impact of a true 10/10 product
Did she tell you that?
I bought a silicone cupcake tray with 6 holes. I freeze that and drop 2 cubes into my bottle. It's good all day. I prefer them over normal ice cubes because they're much larger, and they fit into the bottle nicely because they're cylinders.

The fact that they fit in cups makes me want it! Completely agree that it is nice you don't have ica splashing around and adding the fruit is genius!
But you'll still have a huge chunk of ice in there? It's still gonna move around as it melts, and if you're not using a straw, you'll hit yourself in the face with it

Spa flavored ice sounds intriguing! It's like a little luxury in your cup.
The thing is… most single use products use so little material you’d really still have to use hundreds to equal the amount to energy/material/carbon in a larger molded product like this ice tray… that most people would use a dozen times before tossing…
8/10. What could possibly prevent this from being a 10/10. It does what is it intended to do. It even makes fancy ice that fits in your glass cup.
