Nice eCVT description! So many people rag on hybrids because of CVTs when in fact, hybrids have gearsets, and not chain- or belt-linked CVT pulleys.
Terms like "eCVT" need to vanish. They are an attempt to dumb down HEV and EV tech for an audience perceived as ignorant and unwilling to learn. Actually quite disrespectful by the marketing guys.

The Rav 4 is quite common here in Sweden too, but we only get ordinary versions - no specials like TRD Pros or Woodlands or such - and the majority of those I see are driven by well fare workers doing home visits to elderly people... As always an exceptionally great review - and penguin shenanigans before even one minute had past and even as the outro; that is OG fan-service right there! 😉 Thank you for what you do and Stay Awesome!

As a long time Toyota 4Runner owner I looked at the car but opted for the Subaru Forester Wilderness. So far not disappointed, not my 4Runner but I picked up 12 mpg in the process.
That’s an excellent car as long as your screen doesn’t go full poltergeist 🤞

greeting from saudi Sarah i have a tip for you from desert driver. we lower the tire pressure in dunes from 30 to 15-12 PSI and if its so fine sand we lower the tires to 5 psi and then we fill then back to 12 psi. i suggest you do a video to show people the differance between differant and important tire pressure in outland is .

Morning and thanks for another great review! Although the Versa manual courtesy of yours and other reviews would be my top choice if I had to get something these next couple years.
Falken wildpeak A/T are a great set of rubber. We run them on our CX5. Very happy with them for on-road and in rain too.
The Toyota OEM Wildpeak A/T are not the same as what you can get aftermarket and are in fact less aggressive with lower traction (B rather than A)

Honestly Toyota is a hero, the non plug in hybrid is exactly what will sell. Especially since the so called Infrastructure bill failed to deliver any charging stations. This one simply makes its own power and makes owners happy by costing them less 👍👍

The car is green, the skirt is green, the Like button is green. Great review! I hate the way Hybrids sound, this being no exception. The choked-off last dying breaths of a combustion engine with it's tumor of an electric engine attached. "Dynamic Force" Haha!
I like your electric engine tumor :-) they should increase the size of the electric engines and give it more power. I was disappointed in how little power the actually add to the gas engine.
I too am not in the market for a car (other than a Miata someday) and I watch every single one of your reviews because they're so damn fun. Your outfit was extra fun this review because of how it matched perfectly.

Great job as usual Sarah! It looked like a semi full throttle and a longer runup would have had it bounding over the top of that incline. I guess it could get dinged doing that so for your test you'd rather crawl. Since it's relatively low bucks maybe a decent used one with a few mods would make it a better off roader?

Your bolstering test with that top and fabric seats looked like it would generate about 10,000 volts of static electricity.

You look very nice today as always. I love the colors on the RAV4 on that hybrid. But I am so shocked that the 2 Toyotas you tried to take up the hill climb will not make it. And the Subarus that you have tested, just eats the hill alive. Great review as always till the next one.

With the rally section please, please can we have it timed….That would really add to the fun factor. Hope for more on the hill climb….then so disappointed, Toyota RAV4 nil points as an true off roader, more like a soft roader…..brilliant review as always.

I’m on the same wavelength with you about cloth seats, no sunroofs, and I don’t need an automatic lift gate. I had to special order my RAV4 XLE Hybrid AWD back in 2021 to not get a sunroof. My only issue with the RAV4 is I see my car at least a dozen times on short errand rounds around town. Looking at replacing with a Subaru Forester Premium. I’ll miss my 45-52 mph though.
Have you tested the Subaru Outback Wilderness yet? Would love to see how that does up the steep climb. As always, thanks for always throwing test cars on lift and the tech specs in your reviews! 💪🏻

Hi Sarah. My brand new 2024 KIA Telluride with 777 miles on it, needs a new engine. 2,900 of us got a bad batch of Valve Springs installed and they've been failing causing severe damage and sometimes punching holes through the engine causing fires, accidents, etc. You may have already seen this on TikTok. What a pain in the ass.
Oh well, enough on that. Nice review on the RAV4. Nice little SUV.
I saw a lot of the Hyundai Truckletts in the service dept at a local Hyundai dealership.
I don’t use TikTok.

If you don’t plan on climbing 30° dirt cliffs then I recommend the Woodland, otherwise the TRD Off-Road is the better choice for trail use.
@@SarahnTuned I was considering a RAV4 TRD Offroad and bought a 2024 Outback Wilderness instead. Lower gas mileage but a lot better performance. I'm putting RalliTEK skid plates, CA Tuned rock sliders and a 20" NovSight light bar in the lower part of the grill in about 2 weeks.
@@SarahnTunedI’m pretty sure with better tires and more speed and you could have cleared it. But the woodland beats the trd in fuel economy. I bought a 2024 woodland and am getting 43mpg. The fact that it can do light off roading is incredible.
