  • At number eight with the Utah Jazz. Their starting 5 mike Conley, Donovan Mitchell, Joe ingles, bojan bogdanovic, and Rudy gobert. Off the bat this starting 5 is solid at every position. Last season we saw Donovan Mitchell take most of the load offensively and the addition of Conley and bogdonavic this offseason is only gonna make them better on the offensive end which is where they lacked in seasons prior. You got mike Conley whose easily one of the most underrated players in the nba and Donovan Mitchell a rising star who we know can score the ball at will both leading the back court. Joe ingles and bojan can both stretch the floor and are solid defensively and of course Rudy gobert the back to back defensive player of the year who can also get you buckets down low.
Number 7, the nuggets with Jamal Murray, Gary Harris, Jeremy grant, Paul millsap, and Nikola Jokic. I feel like Jamal Murray and Jokic are such a great pair together, and wouldn’t be surprised to see Jamal make an Allstar appearance next season because that dude is a hooper for that nuggets team last season. Obviously we know how good Jokic is he’s just a triple double machine who made an Allstar appearance and is arguably a top 3 center in the nba.
At number 6 I got the nets with Kyrie Irving, Caris lavert, Kevin Durant, Joe Harris, and Deadre Jordan. Im sure you could swap Deandre out with Jarrett Allen and maybe put Spencer Dinwiddie in there somewhere but regardless, the nets have two top 10 players on the same team and probably.
Next up at number 5 the Milwaukee Bucks with Eric Bledsoe, Wesley Matthews, Chris Middleton, Giannis, and brook Lopez. Last season this bucks team had the best record in the league and were favorites to come out the east so you might be wondering why they’re at number five. In my opinion, losing Malcom broaden is a huge blow to that team because he was such a consistent player for them all season long. Wesley Matthews isn’t the worst replacement for broaden but he definitely isn’t as good of a player, and as good as Eric Bledsoe and Chris Middleton are, there were times in last years playoffs where they sorta dissapeared and were almost harmful to their own team at times.
Number four, the Los Angeles clippers with Patrick beverly, Paul George, kawhi, moe harkless, and zubac. Having Patrick beverly at point guard is gonna be perfect for this clippers team as he’s a great three and d player that knows his role and won’t have any problem deferring to teams two superstars.
Number three, the golden state warriors with Steph curry, DLO, klay Thompson, drayman green and willie cauley stein. I wanna reiterate that this is assuming klay is healthy but the good news is that he’s expected to return this season.
Number two, the Los Angeles lakers with LeBron , Danny green, Kyle kuzma, Anthony Davis, and javale McGee. This lineup could be interpreted by some as the best lineup in the nba with LeBron who is one of the best passers of all time running point, Danny green who is a proven clutch performer who provides space with his three point shooting, kuzma whose got the ability to be an Allstar this year, and Anthony Davis running the 4, but in my opinion is the best big man in the nba, and javale whose a solid role playing big man at 5. To me, this lineup is good enough to make it out of the west and more than likely win a championship because they signed players that fit well around lebron and AD. Theres probably some starting lineup changes that will happen throughout the year, but either way you have LeBron James and Anthony Davis both in your closing unit, they’re going to be a very difficult team to beat.
So there’s only one team left, number 1 is the Philadelphia 76ers with ben Simmons, josh Richardson, Tobias Harris, al horford, and Joel Embiid. This starting 5 will be among the top defensive teams in the league, you got pretty much a 7 foot point guard that can pass and get to the rim, Josh Richardson who is a very underrated player, he was a beast when he played down in Miami.
