This game was like watching one of the countless Jokic Highlights videos. He had all the greatest hits in this one game. Full court pass, behind the back, step back 3, Dunks, no look passes, spin moves, bending magical passes around defenders to Gordon for the dunk. Literally the only thing he was missing was a triple double. Combine Dirk, Duncan, Magic, and fk'n Bird into one player and you get the Joker. It's just not a fair fight.

Did Chris Paul get 40 points in the 1 game he got 13 assists and 7 rebounds 0 turnovers? NO. That’s the biggest part of the stat line so it’s not a correction. No one’s ever done it except jokic. Jokic himself has had games before with 13 assists or more and 7 rebounds or more and 0 turnovers. He’s had games with 13+ assists and 13+ rebounds with 0 turnovers. It’s adding the 40 points on efficient shooting on that plus the fact it was the biggest game of the year that makes it even more insanely impressive.

One overlooked aspect of this turnaround from Denver along with obvious switches, is Jokic defence where he doesnt need to drain lot of energy on Rudy he either allows him to 6 or 8 points or steals the ball or pulls him the chair so Jokic can help more on Ant and even more importantly be fresher on offence
Denver is a well balanced team where any player can stepped up anytime they are needed

The BIGGEST problem when defending jokic is that he can back you down ...idk anyone's else that can stand his ground vs him, so then once he gets into the paint, its almost automatic bc hes so skilled and has such a great touch around the basket. Thats why you need guys like D howard, shaq, in order to defend him. Davis/gobert/ are too skinny...

Porter is allowed to have a bad series, he’s been one of the unsung heroes for the nuggets and has done more than enough to solidify his place as one of the pillars of this championship level team.
The adjustment that Denver did kinda takes Porter out of the offensive game as KCP, MPJ and AG stack one side of the floor to clear the space for Murray and Jokic to play 2 on 2.
Porter isn't getting that many opportunities, but he has shown how much he improved at defence this season, like that block on KAT.

Eh, kind of. Considering he’s almost paid as much as jokic and is the 2nd highest paid player by far, they could have more talent if he was paid like AG or even Murray. He’s obviously the #4 guy on this team. He’s done better this year and this playoffs. Last year he lacked, he Shot like 10% from 3 in the finals and kept losing the ball it was embarrasing. He does need to step up because a big reason they’re not as deep as they could be is because they’re paying him max contract but he’s not playing like a max player he’s playing like a #4 which isn’t bad but even the #2 on the team is not an all star.
