@@BrotherO4 His father was murdered and he was getting beaten up out of the court with gambling controversies before he retired the first time, I don't blame him for being tired mentally and emotionally. For the 2nd time, we would have loved to have the core Bulls team back and go for a 4-peat but team management pulled the plug. He had nothing to prove after that, he was not tired. He said in interviews that he would have wanted one more go with the same Bulls team if possible. Whatever Bron accomplished as you pointed out above is great in its own aspect. No need to bring down another person to highlight it.

As a someone who loves steak, it is absolutely not good for you. Red meat is a carcinogen, and a good steak requires lots of butter, which is absolutely not good for you. Not to mention all the fat in more desirable cuts.
Steak is less unhealthy cooked well done, but no one should eat it that way.
Steak does have lots of vital amino acids, but also has lots of unnecessary ones and some good ones in excessive amounts, both of which can cause illness.
McDonalds is certainly not healthy at all, but that doesn’t mean you can lump steak in with “not bad for you.”

The reality is that medical and fitness science has improved greatly for pro athletes and players are going to have longer peaks and careers these days, than they did when MJ was in the league. McDonald’s wasn’t even viewed as being particularly unhealthy back then. It wasn’t seen as great, but the disgust from the public just wasn’t there.
This is why I don’t give a shit about longevity stats. They favor newer players too much. Accumulating stats because you were able,to,play longer thinks to better science and awareness, just doesn’t belong in the goat debate. As pointed out in this video, if Jordan did what LeBron and other athletes do now, and he surely would have, he would certainly have been in better condition for longer.

Not sure how the diet effected him, he was lighter and more athletic while on the so called bad diet.

How much greater? Like what? Wining 11 champs in 11 years? At his level it doesn’t matter what his diet is anymore. It’s a small factor comparing to all the talents and drive MJ had.
