Pedigree was the real face buster move to the opponents causing some little injuries but they took it on advance level for the safety of the opponent and give them more time to release their hands before hitting the ground. As you see in the video after 2006 something around
From around ‘99-‘01 you can see he seemingly only released the arms for Rock, Taker, and Austin. He hooked everyone else all the way down until 02 when he released everyone’s arms.
@@matthewshepherd5390well the finisher makes the wrestler land face first. The ring is still made of wood and it can injure a wrestler. So he started releasing hand so the wrestlers can actually use their hands to take less damage. Triple H also hated this finisher since it damaged his knees
Rock took a couple pedigrees without putting his hands down and thought “f**k that”. Afterwards, hands went down early every single time. Protect that Hollywood face
My favorite move to my cousin growing up knocked him out couple of times. HHH to me is the greatest of all time 14x world champion there will never be a legend like Paul ever again.
Laqueefa Steinberg - or if the guy taking the bump doesn't flatten his legs. if they hit with their knee, they hit their head.Thats why Triple H started jumping backwards on the pedigree instead of straight dropping like he originally did.
If I marry ur daughter u will also make me 14 time champion shut the hell up. Triple h finishee sucks nothing cool about it. Triple h reach top in his wreslimg career because he is the son in law of the owner of the company in which he works he never earned it for me. The best looking finishers in wwe is RKO, stunner, tomb stone pile driver, GTS, and F5. The other finisher moves are just too simple nothing cool about it.
The Way HHH Hurls His Opponent In ✈️️ Air And Throws Him Down With His Opponent's Face Striking The Mat Leading To A Severe Concussion Is Really Incredible
Too bad we will never see the old school Pedigree in the main roster ever again. Keeping that underhook throughout the move instead of releasing it halfway makes such a huge difference
Your whole front body is exposed on the way down. It gives you very little means to protect yourself, and you often have to hope for the best. The dominator is another one. Some wrestlers tuck their knees to reduce the impact, but taking it with your body straightened out hurts.
Nobody took the pedigree like Kurt Angle, especially back when HHH didn't release the arms. The one he delivered on Kurt on Raw when he came back from tearing his quad is the best one.
I feel 2:45 had the best pedigree. When you wouldn't release it doesn't look smooth because it is dangerous and most don't want to risk it. When you release on the jump it looks way too early. Releasing on the way down and basically your opponent's hands/arms hitting the mat the same time as yours still has the impact but also the safety
It’s funny how Shawn Michaels the ‘best worker in the history of the business’ takes his best friends finish like SHIT... Goldberg the ‘worst main event worker next to Ultimate Warrior’ takes the move PERFECTLY... in fact far better than most. Wow.
@@adonis6418 Goldberg looks like he's actually struggling to get out and ends up pushing his head into the mat when H drops him, Shawn kinda just plops down while sometimes hopping. That being said, Goldberg isn't that good of a worker especially in his recent runs. Shawn could work when he felt like it.
@@TheHurdyGurdyMan. yeah but that still made it look brutal than the ones Goldberg took sure Goldberg didn't do a bad job but some of them weren't the best
I wonder if HHH got any injuries to himself because of that finisher. Dropping onto your knees everyday can't be healthy. Like sure he got knee pads but did they really protect him? Look how he places his ankles everytime when dropping. They are always outward so there might be a lot of pressure for the knees to dislocate or something idk I'm not a doctor. Like Hulk Hogan fucked his tailbone from the leg drop and it cause some issues with his spine. I think he said it affected his height. Same with Austin and Stunner. Undertaker stopped performing Old School cause it caused issues to his neck, back and knees. I think he was warned about the move by senior wrestler that he is taking years from his career with that move.
Triple H's main injuries were his quad tears from 01 and 07. If you watch his matches he tends to use a lot of leg power as he's kinda a powerhouse wrestler.
@@mrmoviemanic1 i mean sure, those are probably his most known injuries but he has had multiple other injuries that kept him out. What I am asking if doing this move caused any injuries or wear and tear like with the examples in the original comment.
I thought that contributed to his quad tear but I could be wrong. Also I didn't know the old school could contribute to having that much issues. it seems so simple
What about the pedigree the one that gave he Marty Garner and broke his neck. That one looked brutal and it like it did a lot of damage. I cringed when I saw that one he landed on his neck and spine wrong.
I fully snapped both bones in my left arm when my brother reversed the pedigree in 1998. I flipped over his head, arm landed in between the couch cushions, and it broke when I landed on the floor with my arm still wedged in the couch. He didn't get the 3 count, though.
Them old Pedigrees really fucked up some faces I bet that they tweaked it later down the line ..just like they do nerfing these games cuz IT WAS 2 SAVAGE...
The 1st ever airborne Pedigree is missing in the list... The one which HhH delivered to HBK in 2002 in an episode of RAW where he betrayed HBK and turned heel
You can see after about 1:43 he starts releasing the arms mid air. I think he messed that one up a bit and probably wanted to make it safer so they can control their impact instead of relying on him to protect their head.

WWE Triple H's finisher.
azzek
4:49 the real pedigree
Shout-out to Chavo Guerrero for that.
i say 1:10
Kurt angle took it the best. Timed the jump with hhh, got a lot of air, and knew how to take the bump with his arms still hooked.
I agree with u
@RazorKevs Yep
Rock and Jericho were great too
Disagree top 3 angle jericho hardy took it the best 👌
I think kane took it the best...lol jk the rock took it best.
Watching HHH's quads slowly tear for 7 minutes straight.
For not selling it, Warrior actually took that pedigree really well
Pedigree was the real face buster move to the opponents causing some little injuries but they took it on advance level for the safety of the opponent and give them more time to release their hands before hitting the ground. As you see in the video after 2006 something around
Triple H put released the hands for Kane, Stone Cold, and The Rock and others too before 2006
Sprike Dudley
think if he held the head between his legs it’ll sell more , no?
That move can really mess up your neck and spine Smfh
One of the best finishers of all time. Stunner, Pedigree, RKO (out of nowhere) , Tombstone, GTS, Sweet Chin Music are my favs. No particular order.
From around ‘99-‘01 you can see he seemingly only released the arms for Rock, Taker, and Austin. He hooked everyone else all the way down until 02 when he released everyone’s arms.
That’s coz the rock was a Puss! And Austin had beck injuries hence why he unhooked
I noticed he started releasing the arms. Why did he do it for the other three earlier?

He used to give Jericho brutal pedigrees. He never released his arm. U could tell he hated him 😂
3:43 I love when the impact has sound

0:39 best one
Looks authentic
yup
The one on Jericho at 2:24 might be best ever, it’s my favorite for sure. It just looks devastating.
True
Look what he did to Marty Garner, that was something
Yea i had to rewind that a couple times

Kane planting his knee every time REALLY kills the sell.

Edit: Tyson Kidd looked great
2:23 Jericho took that neck snap like a champ
Good Snap
Karma got HHH back when he tore his quad against Jericho later 😂
Still can’t believe mick foley took the pedigree on tumbtacks to the face
Chavo was the all time greatest at making moves look devastating when they were done on him. Pedigree, rko, twist of fate, etc

This is the ultimate finishing move. This is what you finish matches with
He may not be the most loved but wow he had the coolest moves
My fav finisher besides the RKO. Thanks for the upload.
Don’t mention it :)
ONE THE GREATEST FINISHERS OF ALL TIME. DEADLY !!!
As a triple h❤ he marked a best finisher ever in wwe. Nobody can replace him in this wwe

The pedigrees that Triple H does where he hangs on all the way through and not let go are his better ones.

didn't want it and put his hands out to break the fall.
💯💯
Every time Triple H gave The Rock the pedigree he would let Rocky’s arms go before landing.
Best finishing move ever.
I like the pedigree when they are smooth and fluid but i sometimes enjoy seeing the semi off ones or more of a ddt than a flat bump
