JR screaming ROCK BOTTOM ROCK BOTTOM is almost as iconic as the move itself
I swear I just yell it out sometimes randomly
He has to repeat it at least 3 or more times for the move to be even more iconic.
Literally came her to screen record that
Honestly yes
It’s crazy to see how he evolved the move over time. His left hand placement early on would directly take the impact. Later he used his forearm to absorb the impact better. He made it such a safe move for himself and his fellow wrestler while still making the move look so powerful. He’s a class act I swear!
He'll also shut the opponent mouth when going for the winning pin too
The opponent is jumping like with the pedigree, but they're both doing it well to be believable and safe. I know booker t feels it ripped off his book end, but they are both fun to watch.
“Rock bottom!! Rock bottom!!” Man I miss Jr
I feel like Austin oversells the Rock Bottom as a nod/tribute to Rock overselling the Stunner. You can see Austin is the only one that gets slammed, then falls backwards on his stomach 😂🤣🤣🤣
Broo stone cold is my all time favorite but I literally bust out laughing on that 3rd rock bottom I ain't Neverr seen em sell so great 🤣🤣
Kurt sold it so well, almost like he enjoyed being lifted airborne lol.
Kurt is cracking me up with how high he's jumping to make the move look more spectacular. Incredible wrestler.
Kurt is one of the best sellers of almost every move, he doesn't undersell or oversell. Perfect almost everytime
could have, guess you'll never know.
Dude, I’d job to Rocky just to launch myself while getting a rock-bottom!
@@andrewburgemeister6684 I'd job to Stone Cold....I'd jump up like Scott Hall and back flip onto my face after a devastating stunner.
The Rock is what made me started watching the WWE in the summer of 1998. I was only eight years old.
The Rock (not orginal) was electrifying and was definitely worth the price of admission. But, look at the quality of that top teir during that time . The Rock , Austin, Undertaker , Mick Foley . It was kinda like the second Golden age of wrestling .
Me too!
Same here I think I was in the 4th grade
Me too
I Was 8 As Well Bro ! Remember Like Yesterday , Brings Tears To My Eyes 😢💪🏼
Its all about the seller, Kurt is the best example of lifting his legs up and keeping them high for just a second as Rock comes down. Always been a simple yet powerful move.
Agreed but how awesome are Kane's sells!? Kicks his legs up to make it seem like Rock is throwing him around
More than 9 consecutive minutes of JR screaming "ROCK BOTTOM!!" and it never gets old ❤️ JR
Cole saying it got old quick though 😂😂😂
Michael Cole screamed it also.
Only ruined by slight interruptions by Michael Cole.........
It did get old.
Oh my oh my
6:30 *I love seeing Stone Cold sell the Rock Bottom the way The Rock sells the Stunner*
just saw that and noticed the exact same thing XD
he sold the rock bottom amazingly
Simple yet effective finisher
Facts that's his body weight and yours Slam on your back
What about tombstonepiledriver
Choke slam is almost the same except u don't go down with ur oponent
@@OfficialTutorial4Life lol I’m a year late but the choke slam is more devastating because you get lifted above the opponents head
Diamond cutter, DDT, JBL Closeline etc. The best finishers don't need much setup. The Rock could keep doing it in his 70s if people sold it for him.
7 1/2 minutes of Jim yelling “ROCK BOTTOM” and I’m not even mad.
Rock was definitely the highlight of post-Hogan WWE. Him giving Rock Bottoms, and him taking Stunners. Both highly entertaining.
The third Rock bottom to Austin at 8:28 is so damn good. Hear the impact
His final match
And austin sells it better than anyone else... look at how he grabs the back of his head and then his back and kidneys...
@@fgcpeak9591it looked like he’s was seriously hurt by it
@@AD-ur1fk yeah dude that sounded NASTY! lol
JR the best commentator..... really sold it
Im surprised how incredibly well Kane sells the Rock Bottom!
Kane was good seller I believe
Damn, I think Kurt Angle took more Rock bottoms than anyone. 🤣😂
Him and Benoit
Mankind too
You would know of all people mr rock
Naw Triple H and Austin got him beat
Lol Billy Gunn too lol
Not only does the opponent sell it by jumping up and exaggerating the impact on landing, but i love how the Rock also sells the dramarization by waving his free arm out as they go down. It really makes the move feel powerful when its otherwise incredibly simple.
Other wrestlers who use similar side slams (the side effect, the side slam becky lynch does) just don't feel like finishing moves.
3:15 Anybody notice Rikishi botched a rock bottom. Smh LMAO!!
@David Pryor I think he was going to counter the Rock Bottom by doing a DDT but botched it instead.
@@jagerin No, Rikishi just jumped and put his legs the wrong way.
Thats why the re do it 5 seconds later
that's actually Rock's new move, knee breaker lol
Even Michael Cole said "Wait a minute..."
He did it for The Rock.
5:37
The earth stood still when Austin hit The Rock with the Rock Bottom
He did it wrong too
@@SodaPopinksiRock can't sell his own move lol
Every time RVD Sold the Rock bottom he looked like he was Tased hard while Bouncing up!?😂😂😂😂👹😂😂😂🤨🤨
He is so cool his glasses don't even come off
Stone Cold always gave a great jump and sold the Rock Bottom well. So did Kane.
And the best sellers for rock bottom are
Kurt angle
Chris Jericho
Shane
Vince
Stone cold Steve Austin
Brock Lesnar
RVD as well lol
You forgot Rikishi lol
Viscera is the best selling
Hhh
Forgot to mention the man himself at summerslam with booker t
I love how excited JR gets every time 🤣🤣🤣
Or as JR calls em "the rock bottom! rock bottom!"
Yeah that’s the name of the finisher.....
Rock's favourite bunnies:
1. Triple H
2. Kurt Angle
3. Mankind/Mick Foley
I could watch this all day
Watching this video drives home how insanely well The Rock was booked.
Really? I’d say it was all over the place. Especially in the Attitude Era.
@@dukes1993724 In terms of win/loss it was all over the place. However he was always feuding with amazing talent and made to look strong.
@@dukes1993724yeah he lost like half of those matches where he got the rock bottom off there's some clips in row there where I can say he lost every match
Today I learned that no one has been rock bottomed more than Kurt Angle.
Is JR in an echo chamber? All I could hear was “Rock bottom, rock bottom!” 😁
3:16 the worst rock bottom ever
A finisher so nice, JR had to say it twice
the rock it’s my favorite!!
3:38 best rockbottom reaction
I’m here after watching a Stunners on the Rock compilation 😂
Lol.Even I searched every rock bottom to stone cold. But I found this.😅
My favorite wrestler of all time
The Rock was my childhood Hero👍
At 1:20 look at that Devastating Rock Bottom to Mankind onto the Car** DAMN.. 🤗😈😈
The greatest finisher of the WWF in the late 90s and 2000s.
The stunner for me, this second.
@@benllewellyn1887 the stunner is forever number 1, second is the Undertaker tombstone.
Rock bottom was really impactful
The sound on the canvas! Damn!
Such a simple finisher made iconic by a legend
That double rock bottom on triple h and shane was legendary and best of all.
Rock Bottom has to be one of the best finisher names ever. Stone cold stunner as a finisher name is fire too
ROCK BOTTOM!! ROCK BOTTOM!!! Kurt and Hunter ate so much of them.
Huh... much like how Rock has his signature sell of the stunner, Austin has a signature sell for the rock bottom, I never noticed till now, he puts huge bounce into it. That’s cool, they had savage chemistry.
Also, I’ve now heard Rock Bottom so much in the last ten minutes, it has ceased making sense to my ear holes 😵
@TheRealist 811 You don't remember what happened when Austin hit the stunner on The Rock?
@TheRealist 811 are you serious? The stunner on the rock is the most famous sell ever
The best Rock Bottoms are the ones in which he can get height and then plant the opponent
The one with Kane was impressive because (assistance from Kane) he can lift a 300+ pound man with height and plant him clean
Truly amazing finishing move. The way he locks his arm around his opponent and looks around the crowd makes it entertaining
3:10 Rikishi bout broke his own legs 😂 I never seen anyone fuck up a Rock Bottom that bad
“Look at this!”
The ones on kurt angle are beautiful
one doesn't recognise nor acknowledge those moments until they lose them. Back when WWE was🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
JR screaming ROCK BOTTOM ROCK BOTTOM
The one at 3:58 to Triple H looked awesome!
Rock bottom multiple guys with sunglasses still on his face
One of the stylish finishing move. I like the way he distances his leg when he lifts his opponent high in the air as if he lays down the opponent by withdrawing his leg support. I would say its bit risky as both wrestlers get down and Rock has to save himself from getting his face busted every time. Also he has to be careful with heavy wrestlers like Rikishi, Undertaker, Kane etc. The move looks great specially on wrestlers with same or lesser heights. Kurt sells best and he makes the move look devastating.❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Move so destructive that it even takes him out about a third of the time
I remember being a kid watching WCW(fan of Goldberg, Sting, DDP) I knew of another wrestling channel but didn’t switch it, however when the news of mankind(heard of) won the belt I had to check it out. N haven’t watched WCW anymore cuz of The Rock. Rock is my favorite wrestler as he commands the crowd(even as a heel), his delivery of catch phrases n microphone ability was natural.
The Rock bottom that he did to Owen Hart was on WWF Warzone Nintendo64. Because it did it Fast and Put his Opponent on the Mat"
in earlier days, this move wasn't called rockbottom.
Back in 1997 when the rock bottom was a ordinary move and wasn't famous yet.
Thank you for this video... Bets video EVER!!!
Nobody sold that shit better than Kurt Angle and Stone Cold.
Stone cold doing the rock bottom to the rock was historical and magical.
Nobody:
Jim Ross: ROCK BOTTOM! ROCK BOTTOM! ROCK BOTTOM! ROCK BOTTOM! ROCK BOTTOM! ROCK BOTTOM! ROCK BOTTOM! ROCK BOTTOM! ROCK BOTTOM! ROCK BOTTOM!
7:56 He caught Eddie lackin
Omgosh ! Your Rock bottom compilation is so good ! ^_^
At 1:24 look closely at the Rock doing the Rock Bottom to Mankind through the Announcers Table....✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾
The Rock Bottom, jackhammer, tombstone and pearl river plunge were my favorite wrestling moves to perform on my brothers and cousins. 3:19 I completely forgot about that screw up 🤣😂 Great video 👍👍
At 1:11 look how The Rock has Mankind and Rock Bottom's Him and then Rock Bounced back up and onto his Back... OMG wish that Rock Bottom was WWF No Mercy Nintendo64.. I hate how he holds them for like a minute in his Right Arm and then does it. I wish that it was a Quick Rock Bottom on WWF No Mercy Nintendo64 game***💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🤨🤨🤨

The Rock's Fan thanks you for uploading this.
Kane went up like a champ for those Rock Bottoms. And that was when he was at his physical peak too.
So damn near every wrestler from the 90s moving forward has been rock bottomed?😎
Who was
That at around 2:54 in the jeans? Also did he ever rock bottom Shawn Michaels couldn’t tell
From
That video
@@BASEJOCK11 That's The British Bulldog.
I love it..stone cold has the best Rock bottom reaction and the Rock has the best stone cold stunner reaction
When Rikishi got rock bottomed, JR: “the biggest rock bottom you’ve ever seen!” 😂😂😂
The Rock also helped Vince move the WWF forward with this finisher in the Attitude era.
6:07 Paul Heyman: Noooo!!
the rock bottoms stone cold steve austin were freakin insane
This is so satisfying
This was indeed a Rock bottom video..
I love JR and JK Lawler.. I miss them so much
dude i loved the jumping rock bottoms in the beginning!
I can see how wrestlers seem to think this is an easy bump to take compared to a chokeslam. You aren't being grabbed by your throat, you aren't being hoisted up as high, and the Rock puts his right leg under the opponent, and also uses his left arm to share some of the impact.
Great video shows the evolution of the move so clunky to begin with then just flows into looking so natural and effortless
That third Rock Bottom on Austin at WM 19 is maybe the best one because of how loud that hard Austin got planted
You knew that match was over.
Rock Bottom Rock Bottom!!!! Only in attitude era that sound Echoes very hard🙂🙂🙂🙂
Stone cold sold the hell out of that rock bottom at 5:45
6:56 I dunno man, out of everyone on this list, Lance Storm deff sells its best.
Such a simple move, it's just a very cool looking modified side slam, and The Rock made it look awesome - late in the match, that was always a great way to finish the match... I feel the Attitude Era was peak for finishing moves, meaning we had so many awesome finishers from so many in that generation, more than any other generation, in my opinion... While people complain the generations before finishers were too basic, which they were, a lot of the finishers then are basic moves, to now today every move has just about been done, there isn't really anything we haven't seen before... So, I feel bad for today's wrestlers, because they have bring back an old finisher that's been done before or they have to come up with something so complicated that's it ruins the suspension of disbelief.
His old RB’s are pretty cool, especially when he jumps.
Stone Cold Steve Austin Deserves An Rock Bottom!
Mike Morales yeah he does
Tyree u deserve a stone cold stunner
It's no need for disrespect!
Don’t disrespect Austin like that.
At the end of the day Rock oversells stunner
3:26 Best ☝🏾
rikishi nailed it
Austin and RVD sold this move great every time
Pretty cool finisher the rock did in the WWF.
At 1:29 that Rock Bottom to Steve Austin was Awesome as hell...🤨🤨🤨😁😁 And At 1:34 look at That Rock Bottom through the Announcers Table!!!hell all of the above and beyond The Rock Rock Bottom are the Greatest....
This vid should be called “ Jr screaming ROCK BOTTOM 100000x”
