-Some people seem to think this was an ad, but Soko and Moulberry did not pay me or even approach me. I approached them myself and stand by everything I said about the mod!
-Everyone seems really concerned about the EULA changes. My title does not break EULA, nor would the devs making a commercial license for their mod. Don't believe everything you read on Twitter lol.

This is amazing. I was worried at first when you said that it'd change building forever and mentioned professional builders, as if it'd take their jobs or something. But no, it just makes everything less time consuming and adds a bunch of QOL features. Just looking at that UI makes me salivate.
ngl, a really good example of how automation should be to make people's jobs easier, not to take them away
this just changed the game. No lie, this will likely be up there with Litematica, Replaymod, and Sodium.

This is a really exciting development in building! Moulberry actually created another well known mod called NEU or Not Enough Updates for hypixel skyblock, and almost everyone in the community knows and uses it, so I'm very confident in the success of this project as well

I think something REALLY cool would be a survival mode. Imagine being in survival and using this tool as an indicator where you need to place blocks, it would allow people like me that can't build to make a wonderful base too.
You could probably combine it with Litematica, if you did it in creative in another world then used Litematica to make a blueprint of it to work from

There are some mods for Valheim that do this, and I've found them incredibly useful. I can totally see this being a feature in the future. They already have the preview mode, just make that stick around if you don't have the materials. lol
Tbh I wouldn’t want that as personally I find it alot more fun to just find where each block goes manually but idk thats me
this tool wont make you magically good at building, itll just make it easier to learn

So basically they created an upgraded version of the official Bedrock Editor mode. The possibilities provided with this mod will be truly endless. Respect to the developers and their incredible creation!
Its funny how a couple devs continue to produce better tools and features than entire teams in a multimillion dollar company

I have done more than my fair share of large scale builds like this using world edit and worldpainter and even just these few minutes seeing you fiddle around with it I can already tell this is a whole other level. Definitely going to go try this out!

Moulberry was very important in the modding community for hypixel skyblock, they made NEU the most used mod in the game but they quit the team of neu a few months ago so it's great to see them work on this
here's 2 guys that just happen to make maybe the MOST important contribution to Minecraft in years, and Mojang can't freaking put fireflies?
2 pixels is extremely difficult to implement

Yeah , imagine how cool it would be to build inside of a swamp and have fireflies flying around you , serving no purpose besides being most likely a particle. Would be awesome , but sadly some dude from the *community* decided to make a report about frogs eating fireflies being unrealistic.
@@hehheh6875 not just that but like since when has minecraft ever been realistic?? it is a fantasy game by definition and like 90% of the content in the game is fantasy creatures and areas?? mojang is bending to do anything to please microsoft and that includes leaving everything the players want as second priority to a bunch of children who probably dont even know how to press play on the actual game! its a joke and its really disappointing to see mojang act like this given the respect all of us have for them for building an amazing game over the past 14 years is being put on the line

Well the main developer has been working on this mod for 1.5 years, obviously he needs funding to continue developing this mod
He has tried to make the balance between free and commercial as fair as possible, but obviously he needs the funding to continue working on it

@@lake4433 Nope, it's more like "I hope they don't tease too much that would end up behind a pay wall at the end", if what he showed us is in the free version it's definitely enough for me. I just don't want some basic things like changing the block palette or flattening to not be accessible, that would just be greed.

world edit on steroids
this is amazing! i’ve been trying to teach my friends world edit but it’s been a struggle to remember all the commands so this will be great once it comes out and we can all learn this together instead. looks super simple
This would be SO helpful to design stuff in creative that I wanna later build in survival.
Some time ago I spent like 30 hours making a giant mountainrange with worldedit sand(so that it looks like it's affected by gravity) where I'd just have to spam the brush tool until there was enough sand(and I built up to build height!) and I ended up with a build of over 10 Million sand. With tools like these I reckon I could've done that like five times faster, I'll try them when designing my trading hall.
For mountains, use a brush for heightmaps instead of sand brushes, otherwise it's going to take way longer
a mineraft mod has never made me genuinely tear up untill today
Already downloaded before the video was even over, this looks incredible! I've been trying to design a sky city base around floating rocky islands and world edit can be painfully slow to use, this looks like it'll be a massive help.
I want this on vanilla Minecraft so bad. It's so tedious having to build block by block, measure everything, and find out you added 1 too many rows or shorted a column
Im considering this to be more of a tool then a mod, and best of all this mod fully-fit's vanilla minecraft its like a better creative mode almost

We miss youtubers like you, who helps people from the community, and make unique videos, unlike the content creators nowadays. We need more mogswamps
This mod makes me, person who only walks around in a survival world every now and then, want to make more Minecraft builds with this mod. I've got some experience using voxel programs but never built in Minecraft enough to make really good stuff in creative mode. Very cool

There is a very simplistic building mod that also visualizes the result called effortless building. And it’s not over the top like axiom but it’s survival friendly.
Both for fabric and forge. Not for 1.20 yet😢
I think superflat type worlds are a great way to truly test your skills and resource management. its fun, unique and much different from the normal Minecraft experience

this is genuinely so exciting
this is kinda neato, instead of needing a third party software to edit your save file to then add it back in. it's a LIVE system, that works at the same time, that you are still in the game, playing. Doesn't look too complicated like blender etc, so it looks simply enough for a kid to play with it.
literally stopped working on a minecraft map because i was tired of opening a server for the plugins every time. I might actually finish it now!

The Mighty architect is also a cool one, it allows you to draw out some shapes and pick a style and a computer will automatically build a building. It also works in game as a client side mod and was made by the same guy who made the create mod

I was in their Discord server since their closed betas started. Sadly I did not get in, but when seeing the "trailer" I felt exactly what you did. Its such a useful tool, and look forward to use it as much as my heart desires.

For most, there are some people who think better with abstract commands. Kinda like how plenty of people still write code rather than use a visual scripting program

Ive seen and used some of moulberry's mods before, and they are phenomenal. I have extremely high hopes for this mod and where it goes.
I dont use mods, but this changed my mind a little. Now i have a mod list with Axiom in first place

this reminds me of the really old online web minecraft server commands. I loved the way that was done and i wished it had carried over into the proper game. this is definitely a great upgrade to that.
3:06 the same thing is in terraria called ‘block swap’ and honestly it is super useful. You can make your build in one pallet and easily switch it to a new one to see how it looks. I find it encourages experimentations a lot more since you don’t have to destroy everything and build it from the ground up

Constantly switching between what i was doing and the command list for world edit is what made it difficult for me, getting into a good workflow is really difficult when you have to keep task switching. I can't wait for tutorials to start popping up for this so I can get a better look at it

I clicked on this expecting something about manual building, which is what I do all the time, because I play survival, I normally would be disappointed that this isn't about manual building, but this is basically paint 3d on Minecraft.
What would make this soooo much cooler is if you could export the stuff you make with the mod as a obj or blend file
Awesome project. Just an FYI for the Devs, for some reason Mojang doesn't allow selling mods, so a commercial license version might not be legally possible. Seeing what happened to the physics mod.

This is fucking insane. I can't believe someone made Blender within the Minecraft client with a secondary mode for more detailed/casual work. Absolutely unbelievable.
I just got a great idea you could do with some of the frozen fireballs. You could move them where you want and make eternal flames or REALLY fancy tiki torches
We need a mod like this for survival building too, I'd love to be able to have proper building systems like the ones shown in the video but they actually use the blocks from your inventory
Voxel sniper and world painter are also tools used by master builders in Minecraft

I've learnt soooo many commands into every minute detail
/clone /fill... the structure_block to rotate buildings... World Edit... and tons of other stuff
This tool should be standard in creative mode.
I do not build a lot, but this looks amazing. I hate when you can’t put certain blocks on other blocks, or when you can’t do something without updating adjacent blocks, ruining the build, or when you hate something you did and go to press ctrl+z, but then you remember it’s Minecraft, not something like Microsoft Word. The first thing that came to mind with the no updates feature was the amazing looking portals people can build. Not only could you change the shape, but you could also completely remove or replace the obsidian edges. This is brilliant, and I can only imagine how builders must feel.
Map art is gonna change, a whole lot more.
This really came at a perfect time for me, since i'm currently doing my first big build project in java
