I'm always surprised of how fast Mogswap's progress is. He can build 4 different farm in an hour while I need an hour just to decide the place to build it and prepare the material

The desert preset (despite how it looks) might actually be easier than the classic flat. There’s villages + Cacti + easy sticks + lava pits + temples. You can even get naturally spawning ore. I’m not sure entirely how it works but I was digging out a lava pit and found redstone.
the lava pit puts stone in the world, the game then replaced some of thr stone with redstone

The funi thing is he did tried true superflat, which has no structures at all, i guess this time he'l be just surrounded by sand. Now that i think about it, i wanna see him survive without dirt and grass lol
I think tunnelers dream or water world would be the most interesting ones. Overworld is probably the most basic one.

Should be possible. Sticks from bushes + diamonds and iron from blacksmiths for tools (using crafting tables found in some houses), and the farms have dirt. Saplings can eventually be obtained from wandering traders, but the world is still playable before that and nether wood can be used instead.

wow, this was a LOT packed into half an hour! genuinely super impressive how much you accomplished in only 50 hours. i really loved the little clips sprinkled in of the world with the minecraft trailer texture pack and shaders - such a fun little touch.

About the villager trade rerolling, you can use a piston to move the lectern, resetting trades every time you flip a lever. It’s a lot easier and faster than manually breaking and placing them. You can lock their trades in when you get what you’re looking for too, so you don’t have to worry about the lectern being in the wrong spot after finding the trade you want.

can’t move block entities in java, plus the biggest time sync with villager resetting is the villager noticing the block being broken / placed, not the breaking itself
I love Mogswamp always using glitches to get structures instead of adding them to the spawn list

Late af but superflats in later versions spawn higher then in earlier ones. High enough that it prevents some structures from spawning. So he opens a superflat in a version where it will spawn lower, then updates the version so everything spawns.
Some structures are also disabled in superflat, but updating the version forces them to spawn.

To those of you that don’t know what he’s in about by the structures, in certain versions of the game there is a bug where you can get all structures for that biome, and most structures are usually disabled in superflat.

You truly are the master of minecraft superflat, getting everything done so quickly
I think Mud Flaps is the true master of minecraft superflat.
Pro tip for the other presets:
add 63 layers of Deepslate under stone.
It'll enable Geodes, Mineshafts, Strongholds and Ruined Portals to spawn properly underground.
Remember that in that preset Ores spawn, plus Diorite, Granite, Andesite, Tuff and a few others.
Plus, by doing this you won't have Slimes on the surface.
Optionally, you can change the biome to be WHICHEVER you want, and this will change which structures you can and can't get.
I have a list of exactly what spawns in each biomes after hours of testing, if anyone wants the list just ask.
Only other actually interesting Preset is the Desert, which also spawn with Ores unlike the Snowy Kingdom.
So no need to use an Overworld Preset with Desert biome.
This was a fun challenge to watch, and the final base looked spectacular! I also really appreciate how you didn't wait until the last hour/day to kill the dragon, like most videos in this genre.

1:04 The whole structures thing should really be just a world gen setting. This is especially relevant for me because I'm a casual Minecraft player who plays Bedrock Minecraft on an iPad and as such I really don't want to deal with trying to change the version of my game just so I can get structures in a superflat world.

This video inspired me to try my own superflat world! I chose the Water World preset and it's quite a challenge. It seems like it's possible, just really hard to enter the nether, so getting in there is going to be my main objective. Should be a lot of fun, I'd love to see how you tackle it, too.

I really hope you turn this world into a series. This is some of the best cold themed builds I’ve ever seen
I honestly love phantoms, they look really cool and we needed something that punisher you when you dont sleep. (besides increased mob spawn rates ant night)
If you don't want iron gloems spawning everywhere, just put some string on it to spawnproof it and prevent snow from stacking up on it!
I dont think string spawnproofs since it isnt really solid, but idk

I like this. I’ll be frank, CZcams has recommended many of Mogswamps videos, but I could never really get into it because I couldn’t really see the progress in his super old super flat world and I like seeing how worlds change, but this format of 50 hours is a really nice way for me to enjoy his building and entertainment skills. :)

16 hours in and youre basically fully kitted, im jealous ive been playinng for years upon years and i cant do nothing like you can. Youre so damn good man
A few things, which I hope will help (:
You can get apples from Farmers, so no need for Oak or Dark Oak trees.
You need 2 layers if snow (you need to manually place the 2nd layer) for it to be spawn proof. Layer 2 to 7 is spawn proof, layer 8 makes a full block again.
Mogswamp’s building skills are amazing
You gotta leave the Void for last I feel lol. But seriously, I think maybe redstone, desert, or Water would be cool next episodes.
Hey Mog! Idk how this is useful, but by placing fences under the ender portal and letting the dragon egg fall, you can dupe it. (Works on bedrock idk on Java)
