I even *knew* that (more precisely, only players can generate nether portals just by walking through; you must have walked through at some point in this process and hadnʼt before; if you try it again itʼll just keep working perfectly unless you broke the portal), but I hadnʼt connected it.

What annoys me is that the list of items that a tamed cat can bring you each morning included Rabbit Hide and Rabbit’s Foot, yet rabbits can’t spawn on Superflat
You still need berries
Tamed cats can also bring you rotten flesh and phantom membranes in peaceful mode
I’m gonna be honest, I live with a cat, and idk how she finds half the stuff she does. Cats are just Like That. I swear she materializes things she’s not supposed to have. Because there’s no way for her to get out, and no one brought it in, and I just… I Do Not Understand.
Sad that it doesn't include rabbit meat for the eat everything advancement

16:08 You have to kill a mob an axolotl is fighting with. In the clip the axolotl killed it, not you.
Also you were using the trapdoor thing with the target block. Just keep shooting around the center then go 30 blocks and flip the trapdoor.
Ahhh that makes total sense for the axolotl. Tried the trapdoor trick a few times though to no avail. Not sure why it wouldn't work for me
@@Mogswamp The arrow thing is kind of random. For me I just hold shift, draw the bow back, and aim at the center a couple times before powering the trapdoor.
@@purple_shiny When I did it, I shot something like half a stack of arrows, then went probably 50 blocks away. I definitely overdid it, but I got the advancement.
i thought you wouldve had to kill the mob with the axolotl after feeding it a tropical fish seeing as its the advancement's icon
You can also do it with redstone. Just shoot a bunch of arrows around the center of a block, then use a piston to pull it out and let them fall on the target block. It's the same as the trapdoor but it might work better.
7:44 A good strategy i discovered completely on accident is if you eat a chorus fruit whilst you have levitation, if you get teleported to the end stone on the ground your Y level will change by 50 and the game will think you went 50 blocks in the sky, i accidentally discovered this looting my first end city on my superflat world

Is that changed past 1.16.1 though? I’ve done it a bunch of times with a pearl but never on newer versions

Sorry this is unrelated to the specific topic of the video, but otherside is also currently only obtainable in 1.18.2 like cave spiders and glow berries.

@@Mogswamp also powdered snow can be obtained while is snowing, because if you go high enough when its raining it starts to snow, and you can fill a cauldron with the snow

Glow berries can be obtained in mineshaft in 1.19
(Also they grow in lush caves naturally)

For "Bullseye", you can fire arrows on the middle of a trapdoor on top of a target block, then walk 30 blocks away and trigger the trapdoor with redstone. This will cause the arrows to fall onto the target block and you will get the achievement. Hope this helps!

There are low shield texture packs, I use one.
Its quite helpful as the shield is very over powered, early game.
Any recs? Honestly, it really bothers me how much it covers. Like yeah yeah tradeoff whatever but still.
@@am_Nein If you want a Low Shield Overlay there are a lot, you can probably find one easily, or I could make one and send it, if u got discord.
You should look up AA speedruns if you ever return to this; their strategies are really helpful. They’ve suffered through Uneasy alliance enough to know how to get it consistently; same with arbalistic and two birds with one stone, etc.
fun fact: When shooting a bow & arrow the hand the bow is in influences the shot to be either left or right of the crosshair. This includes changing your "Main Hand" in "Skin Customization" and your offhand.

Fun fact: if you place a block on top of a target block, then shoot multiple arrows on top of the block(if it lands on the center) and then connect a lever to the piston to *pull* the block above the target block, it will give you the bullseye advancement just like that
I think the reason you (and me lol) thought that there was obsidian in the end crystal crafting recipe is because beacons are very similar and they use obsidian

You can cheese the "great view from up here" once you get some reasonable height from a shulker throw a enderpearl down to complete the achievement

You can get powdered snow fairly easily, just need to go up high To when it starts snowing then place a cauldron, wait through a few storms and soon the hopper will fill up with powdered snow, bucket to collect

Good luck setting up a cauldron on Y=320 cause this is where the snow begins to fall in plains biome.
Check your info before calling it "fairly easily"
You can make a sneaky redstone contraption that uses pistons/trapdoors above the target block and if you shoot a bunch of arrows on the block/trap door and activate it from afar so the arrows fall down on the bullseye you can get the achievement
You can also just put a trapdoor on top of the target block and fire arrows from 3 blocks higher all over the trapdoor and then shoot at the target from 30 blocks and the target will open the trapdoor and you get the advancment

20:07 Kind of late, but you could throw a bunch of arrows on a trapdoor then go 30 blocks away and activate the trapdoor with redstone and let the arrows fall on target block. One of them has to be bullseye.

Advancement The Healing Power of Friendship is when axolotl pretends to die in fight and you kill his opponent when he is pretending oofed. Then you'll get regeneration and absorption
For healing power of friendship, you need to do the final blow, but still let axolotl damage it for you.
I remembered the Ghast Tear, but I also thought End Crystals had Obsidian at the bottom
This was just plain relaxing to watch

Bullseye needs i think 30 or 50 blocks of distance, you can spam a trapdoor on top of the target block and connect redstone to it to open it from far away
I'm a bedrock player so this might not work on Java but, for the target block advancement try setting up a dispenser with an arrow a couple blocks away from the target, and set up a redstone line going as far back as you need to and powering it on which will shoot the arrow.
Funnily enough, I was just thinking about which advancements are possible in on a classic superflat world last night and woke up to see you'd done a video on that exact topic!

9:53 the achievement you g”hot” there was for visiting all of the Nether biomes, the one I think you were trying to get is called Subspace Bubble
You can do light as a rabbit by obtaining powder snow in cauldrons when it rains in a high altitude because then it snows. I am not sure if it is above build hight but in mountains it usually snows in the top.
snow is dependant on the biome, he only has the plains biome across the entire world so there is no snow ever
@Creeper Gamer69 you have to go alot higher than build limit for snow to fall, but you cant place a cauldron down to collect it so its not possible

If you shoot a bunch of arrows into the top of target, and push it up and down with a piston on a clock. Then walk away the bullseye one is really easy to get.

Hey i love the vidoes and cool idea FYI if you go to (0 ~ 0 ) you can get anything that goes through the end portal
To help you out with the bullseye achievement;
You can place a trapdoor on top of the bullseye, then spam arrows on it. Connect some redstone to the trapdoor making it at least 50 blocks away, then place a lever and switch it.
When you respawn the ender dragon it drops close to no exp, so that you can’t farm it for like 60 lvls per kill
You can get a trident though,
You can also get powdered snow,
Don't say no,
With nothing too show.
You can't get either in Java. Only naturally spawned drowned get tridents, and in plains biomes it snows way above build height at y = 600.

btw, i am pretty sure the way speedruners do the "kill a ghast while in the overworld" achievement is by shooting a ghast just has you are about to enter the overworld, that way the games thinks you killed it in the overworld and gives you the achievement

You can get the bullseye advancement by shooting an arrow downwards at a closed trapdoor, right in the middle and up close so you hit. Then you go the required distance away and activate that trapdoor with redstone so the arrow hits while you're far away.
For The Healing Power of Friendship you need to deal the last hit yourself with the axolotl nearby, you will also get a bit of regeneration.

They are zombies that get converted. The only chance you have to get a trident is one that naturally spawns with a trident. research before saying that.

Rule #1 of minecraft: if something doesn't work for the first time you're probably doing something wrong, just like this ghast that couldn't go through unloaded portal
And axolotl must heal you while you fight, it's pretty rare and random
Plus fun facts: villager doesn't have to be that high, only you have to. And since trade box doesn't dissappear no matter how far you are (at least on Y axis) you can click on them while entering the water column and trade when you're at the top. So technically it's possible to trade with npc 320 blocks away from you
If you are far away from a villager the trading menu just closes

An axolotl has to attack an underwater mob and you have to kill the mob after the axolotl hits the mob
@@YouCuberr i literally got star trader advancement this way, try it yourself. they also do it in speedruns. maybe it's a bug but menu doesn't close. i went 100+ blocks up.
and i don't know how exactly this axolotl thing works but i think i got this after it healed me. maybe i killed this mob, idk

8:30 your way is legit, chorus fruit and enderpearls are nice, but the most consistent and maybe the most thing that makes sense is to get levitation and then fly in the air using your elytra and some fireworks.
im pretty sure youo could have gotten the powder snow one using cauldrons up high cause if you are high enough when it rains it snows and snow can fill a cauldron with powder snow

@@Mogswamp googled it. Crocodile tears, or superficial sympathy, is a false, insincere display of emotion such as a hypocrite crying fake tears of grief.
The tears of a phoenix have immense healing powers. It is the only known cure for the basilisk venom. It is also capable of reviving a person from any injury, even if the person is at the brink of death, similar to unicorn blood (without the cursed side-effects).
An easy way to get the float 50 blocks from shulker is to just ender pearl down at least 50 blocks. The game only tracks how many blocks vertically you move, not up or down

Shoot a bunch of arrows on to a trapdoor on-top of the target block, then move far enough away and shoot anywhere on the target block to activate it, if it doesn't work on the first try you are very unlucky lol

for the star trader achievement you can throw an enderpearl to the platform at build height and then enter the trading screen, you can then make the trade once your enderpearl has landed and you have teleported

A Complete Catalog has always been my favorite achievement
a trapdoor with a bunch of arrows shot on it, then activated from afar, will be able to get you bullseye. the axolotl one you need the axolotl to hurt the mob, but you need to kill it. also not sure, but i think the reason the ghast one was so hard is because you didn't load in the chunks first by going through the portal. also arballistic is easy since all you need to do is get multiple mobs in a row, get them down to very low hp, and use the bow.
