This is a game changer. I know model converters existed before, but never with this level of convenience and customization. Can't wait to try this out.
crazy for builders, i personally think this method for generating custom trees is HUGE no more custom tree dipository map file, now i can just import a tree model from ANY cg or 3d model asset and scale and convert into minecraft, that alone for me is BIG!
@@jordnchn7907I’m quite excited to make large custom statues aswell. I can sculpt really well in blender but my brain just can’t make organic things in minecraft 😅
@@CamSpaghett hahaha opposites here, i havent touched blender, most of my modelling knowledge is rhino based from uni haha
@@CamSpaghettI'm really interested in seeing the results
@@CamSpaghett same
I think this method of building would be amazing for large fantasy-type structures
Arn't you thr person who made thr recentish helltrain video
Just checked and yes you are, you reinvigorated my love for that map despite it using a feature that melts my pc
oh my god its the tf2 guy wtf i just discovered ur channel the other day
❤
This is incredible. I feel like you could recreate entire game worlds with this. It'd be amazing to see the world spaces of skyrim, oblivion, morrowind, or any game recreated in minecraft using this.
Not to mention how this could improve build times on the 1:1 recreation of the world in minecraft project tbh
Most of the big builds have always been made like this. Like that galaxy build ever one was freaking about last year.
I've used vowel converters in the past for making minecraft builds from 3d files.
I don't think they're quite suitable for that usecase, since to get a good amount of detail requires the buildings to be scaled too much -- and if you don't the buildings don't look great.
For key megastructures though they are really good e.g. if you wanted to make the world from Elden Ring, converting the Erd tree to a blocky format would work well, but then for individual buildings that arnt massive a good minecraft player will always produce much better results making use if half slabs, stairs, and weird things like anvils, extinguished camp fires, and other non conventional blocks to give details.
Always tried to replicate morrowind stuff but didn’t knew how and gave up during terraforming, this surely would make it not only easier but make it look a lot better!
Keep in mind you would have to create it anyway
This addon is straight up incredible. I've been working on some Latios/Latias models in Blender for a while and always wanted to bring them into Minecraft! Glad to see it getting updates to make the translation from Blender to Minecraft even better
ngl thought you said Latinas ☠️
@@standardman6535We all did.
This could drastically help with build the earth project
Hi, I've been building for BTE since day 3, it won't, we directly import data straight into minecraft
Dagnabbit
@@iplaygamesyall4017how's the project going?
Wow!! This add on was already great but now it's even better!! Thank you so much for this!! Its a lot of fun to play around with!!😊
This is really cool
Wow Spidey was here
this tower at the end is freaking awesome ! nice work
This helps to keep me going on my Java realm and I’m going to add so many things, ty for this and it’s very much appreciated ❤
Imagine how this could be used for Build the Earth.
We just import data directly into the game
I dont play minecraft but your last structure just gave me the idea i needed to build the type of sci/fi weird scenes ive been wanting to do in blender for a while
Bro, when I saw this cave structure generated in this somewhat random way, all I could think of was a maze. It would be awesome if you could generate entire dungeons randomly just with the effect of noise; with secret rooms and lurking mobs, just like in isekai RPGs and animes. Anyway, great project, I'll test it in the near future.
thank you for your service. I liked the organic column the most
I haven't use much of this mod but I am glad to support the full version. A great mod that I would miss if I didn't have it. Thanks
actually this is the reason why minecraft is amazing.
only your creativity can set limits.
and your wallet
@@DogeisCutcan your wallet not support like a 20 bill
i am broke af rn
Or you can be like me and suck at creative stuff
I'm blown away. This is incredible!
Very useful for landscape or dungeon generating... Since it can put unique structures
WOW! This is amazing for map creators!
Idek why this was in my recommended but it was a joy to watch 😄
This is so cool thx for making this whole video and getting me something to do :)
After months of waiting, you finally did it!
The Minecraft cave noise is exactly what I hear when I see that many materials
Mega bases will be crazy after this
Love this! So conveniently done!
good vid, now i can make stunt looking build thanks to you and the creator
This is huge for level design, there has never been an engine editor to reliably build large worlds with source control. This makes it possible
It cool. It nice to have helper tool to get things done.
Beautiful timing. Just got back into minecraft again
“Alright guys this is my house for now and ima work on it *offcamera* “
Amazing video bro. Thanks for the amazing tool
never seen something created that fits me so perfectly as a game designer and an avid minecraft player
Incredible! As someone who does not look blender this is gonna be incredibly usefull (still i think this will be very helpfull to ,mane people so nice)
this is crazy, i’m not a minecraft builder nor a blender guru but my first thought was on big servers who pays for minecraft builders to create their worlds, and with this people could easily expand their buildings and use mods like worldedit to put even more details into it, possibilities are just crazy
A server dedicated to showcasing these builds with a create tech modpack would be insane!!!! Somebody's gotta do something like that
Useful information. Thank you.
Thank u so much now I can build anything
This is so much better then how I did
Thanks !
Next: enable the blender to use slabs
I am so hyped about this ❤
toggleable support for stairs and slabs and such for roofs would be cool eventually.
Absolutely fantastic!
make the whole earth in minecraft. this will speed up that 1-to-1 land construction project
Hooo wow !!!! Thank you for that and for the hard work you done. Because i know nothing about blender i will just try to use a free 3d model and import it into minecraft for see how it's work with my existing world. 😅
hours of building in game even with wordedit turned into minutes thanks to blockblender!
This might be of use for the BuildTheEarth team!
It wont, we just directly import data into the game
okay I think im trying to make something with this this is cool af
This is really cool :o
This is amazing
This chad person made our experience in creating minecraft servers much easier. The cookie for his helpfulness. 🍪
i know math would come in handy some day in my life; this is amazing!
This video was amazing. I'm trying to build a world with kings like ESO and GOT mixed.
Just add some light and turn the cycles render on, then you got Minecraft with insane shaders!
Great video now I can actually build in minecraft lmao
Finally, I can use this in combination with Litematica to make everyone on the server I play in speachless lmao
This is pretty nuts for game development also if you think about it because you essentially have the access to turn anything into your own voxelised model
This is a very good thing to have
can't wait for pippenFTS to get his hands on this
Incredible!
I sense a Minecraft building renaissance
holyshit I thought this was just to have a minecraft style aesthetic in blender but this would have been huge back in the day. If there are still mappers to this day they are gonna have a field day with it
I am impressed. Holy fucking shit.
This is such a game changer
this is amazing
I have zero clue how to use blender but this looks cool.
Amazing!
It's a shame I never learned how to use blender. I instead learned blockbench
That’s badass
thats sick
Man it'd be cool to have a mod that spawns just a bunch of these things randomly throughout the world to find.
Yo, a program that's not a subscription meant to squeeze money out of me? That's awesome.
finally we can make giant Döner Kebap in Minecraft
Thank you!
This is unbelievable! Great explanation and guide, thank you!
Those shapes made with noise remind me of the fun I had exploring that old aether mod in 1.8?ish?
I would love to see a screen shot of the full geometry nodes
I see someone rebuilding all 100 Floors of SAO´s Aincrad in Minecraft for a RP Server xD
well done
This is a game changer.
I thought this was already a thing.
I knew that everything that can be done in blender can be done in Minecraft •~•
Amazing
Incredible wtf
I thought he was gonna build something with it but realized ive been watching a tutorial for 6 minutes
please dont tempt me to make custom maps lol Ive had a ton of ideas I just couldn't translate properly
That's the thing about making creative tools, bringing accessibility and pushing the limits established before
I would want a feature that allows you to filter the blocks used in general and in certain areas. For example, the builds you showed as an example use a bunch of leaves and other blocks where I think it should just be grass.
Yep, it has that already
Fire brev 🔥
awesome
The issue is a lot of people abuse this now to fake building things in survival... I wished people could just appreciate this for what it is and use it to make a map like a normal person...
who needs world edit
As someone who has built on Minecraft for years i can see a lot of potential in this, I like to do recreations of classical architecture and while this won't create something to the quality I would want it could be used as a temporary guide or an alternative to using imported images. Just one question is there a limit to the size of the object that can be exported?
There is no limit set, I got to export really huge things
@@epicspartanryan9457 good to know, I look forward to trying it out
There's no limit (unless you have a bad computer/server)
@@ReecesInPieces true, but Fawe can help a little with the server
Players be like "I built this all in survival"
God this is so cool. I wonder if it is possible to use this for taking a 2d image and converting into a 3d model (I don't mean a 1block thick picture), but rather an actual model of the content in the image
With shap-e from openai maybe, it is still in alpha stage
I don't know jack shit about blender but i find this video very interesting
The caves should be in Minecraft anyways. Imagine finding those places randomly while adventuring
These caves look cool, someoune could make a datapack or use a terraform plugin to include these structures
What is the scheme on the intro. Or maybe a map, schematic, something else? Looks very nice for building :)
have you thought about somehow adding the ability to have one add their own blocks so they can use stuff like modded blocks?
Building in minecraft itself is now redundant
Realcraft-approved!
every 3$ in my country is 150,000 of my currency and u can get bunch of foods for 4 days with it, im a minecraft animator and i cant use any addon because they are more expensive than my entire living expenses, damn it hurts that i cant use these amazing addons for animations and models
On gumroad there is a free version, and also the price changes depending on the region you're in
@@JoeyCarlino yup i see the free version tysm for putting it at least i can use some, but, about the region dont worry iran is just locked from everywhere i have to buy it with third party sites and pay them to buy it for me still its $ anyways 😅😅
@@mohammad_prh6984 ah okay, dm me on discord and we can sort it out
@@JoeyCarlino i sent 👌
Does it do the other way around? Like, a MC structure (schematic or whatever) to a mesh?
Because that would be great for my project :D
Maybe one day, it might be available to export for Bedrock.
Amulet can do the thing
There is a complicated way. You can convert the schematics to a command and put those into the nbt of an npc for a build button. Horion client users would spawn builds on realms this way.
@@something4922 does something like that exist? I'm really curious now
@@epicspartanryan9457 Dont remember fully I used a schematic to command converter(with a web demo) on some random Github repo. And had to do a lot of complicated notepad++ replaces to make the commands compatible with bedrock and also to put it in NBT format for .give in Horion. But since giving items on realms and vanilla servers was patched I kind of lost interest. Though still some interest in bedrock since OBJ skins still work with Horion. As a bonus there was something interesting some people used for images called Pixelstacker*(as it uses a stained glass layer*) seems a bit underrated compared to how spritecraft was.
Considering Microsoft going full 1984 on Minecraft stuff you might want to make this a textured voxel type addon without Minecraft assets addon by default and have the Minecraft atlas be a free addon.
