Mackerel
Tilapia
Shrimps
1/4 Large Onion
2 Thumb Sizes of Ginger
1 Habanero Pepper
1/2tsp - Aniseed
1tsp - Kelewele Seasoning
1tsp - All Purpose Seasoning
1/4tsp - Salt
3 Cloves Garlic
Blend Together
8-10 Tomatoes
1/2 Large Onion
1 Habanero Pepper
Additional Ingredients:
Palm oil or oil of choice
1/4 Large Sliced Onion
1-2tbsp Shrimp Powder (Optional)
All Purpose Seasoning - tt
Salt - tt

I'm a mix of Ga and Fante and had no idea about Fante dishes as I grew up my in La with my Ga family. But I have to learn about my Fante heritage also, especially where tasty dishes are concerned.

Takes me back to my grandma's capecoast visits. It was so cheap the stew was more than we needed with each serving.
What do Fante people usually eat this stew with?
@@AmbitiousPanda739 it went with fante kenkey or Fante Banku,( I didnt like the latter) at all I prefered the texture of VR Banku. It also did well with hot water garri AKA eba. I myself ate it with soft boiled cassava which would soak up the nice-ness (no such word). It can go with Ga kenkey,garri, thicken it a bit and it goes with ampesi, give it a twist with sliced onoins and a nice story will be told on your palette.

We have different types of fisherman soup or fisherman stew in USA. I got into conflict online once bcos I call egusi stew. Nowadays in USA we use the words soup & stew interchangeable .
