Had my simplex 2 years love the thing and was hard to get the legend and start over but on my 2nd month and going good. I got pro pack also and love it , had some issues pin pointing targets for some reason w legend . And the 6” coil is a pretty fun coil. Lg30 made my spots I hit with simplex come back alive .Thanks for sharing

Tnx. I saw some legend users can't detect standard size coins in 15cm in the ground while air test was ok, they did a reset, update, everything, different coils... im little concern to buy new legend with lg30 now...

I have a Nokta macro racer 2. Much better then the Minelab explorer I had before. Also have a Garrett GTA that I think is also better then the Minelab. Started detecting in 1979 so I had older detectors as well. I always buy used machines. For now I feel no need to buy something new.

Well, Legend will have a better depth than MR2, to be honest.

@@followivankrause3673 You should test one. And maybe other old detectors. I pull hammered at depth with it and the old silver Swedish 10 öre is tiny as an hammered and those the racer pick up at 30 cm. Back in 1979 when I started detecting using an C-scoope, that machine went deep as well. No stupid 1 watt government output limit back then. Why no one make illegal output boosters for sale is strange? Had them on wireless phones in the old days. The signal depth is about the same on all machines. What is the difference is the processor speed and soft ware programs that interpret the response. A large coil allows for longer time over the target (more signal data) and covers more ground that's why you feel it goes deeper. The resistance in the copper coil is larger and it converts more energy to heat. Easily tested with a sensor on the ground and passing detectors above it. A pin pointer is a point source emitter(not exactly) and it has some depth as well. If you were to connect an insulated copper pipe to your detector it would detect at 30 cm as well att one watt. If you would put 100 watt you would get sick.
