The target stability on those two high conductors was superior audibly on the XT Pro….the signals were strong, pleasant to the ear, and more importantly, weren’t jumping. If I had to lift the coil off the ground on deep targets and create an air gap to get a better signal on my machine, I’d be looking for another machine….I never had to do this with my Explorer or Nox…I want to scrub the dirt/grass as low as I can go to gain every last millimeter to hear the deepest/faintest target signals I’m locating.
You are creating an air gap, otherwise you're plowing. Unless you never hunt anywhere with grass or leaves or uneven ground? Get real. Single frequency machines always produce a more stable tone........that's one of the advantages. Multi has tones competing for each other giving different results which translates into more jumpy tones unless the software is dumbed down to compensate. That's why most multi machines also have single frequency options and why people often say to double check targets in single frequencies, because multi isn't always the best option. It's better in heavy iron and that's about it.

Do you think I should buy Extra Pro or Legend? which is better ?
Legend is better IMO
Hello , Would you recommend Legend between Legend and Econox 800? Legend is equal to which one? With Econakos 800 or 900?
Legend over Equinox 800 imo for waterproofing alone..
Cual es mejor?
Hello.
Dude, who would you personally choose for deep coins
Best regards.
Well both will hit them...Legend....you can cross check with single freq...
@@calabashdiggeradventures Thank you. Greetings from Poland
How to find my comment in the youtube? I need to edit something after i watch this video.
are the xterra pros good detectors
Yes for the money but the VDI is not very good. jumpy...
Minelab has much more stable id #'s.
Yeah I'm sure single frequency is more stable now put the Legend in the same frequency and let's see what happens.
Thanks for vid.
You bet
My buddy why don't you try the Anfibio multi, one of these days ,, together with those new toys and see how the Anfibio defends his territory ...
He had one in the past, it was one of his deepest machines from what I remember. Problem is they suffer when in a high EMI zone, they're heavy and don't do as well in heavy iron if you're afraid to dig. I have a Kruzer which is very similar. Great machine unless you like to cherry pick.
Hello friend. He probably does not own one. If you send him yours, I am sure he would compare them. I would trust him with any of my high end detectors. 👍
What bottlecapbill said...
👏👏👏O x-terra é mais estável nos IDS. A macro sempre teve problema quanto a instabilidade de EMI
Would of been nice to see the legend in single frequency... Cant make it look to good tho am I right lol
I have a video with the Legend in single on my channel..
BTW the Legend is a multi freq machine...
which is better Legend and x Terra ???
you will have to decide what is best for you..
I don't have the air gap issue I tried to get mine to do what yours did. Maybe it's yours I don't know next time I see my buddy we will test his.
I have seen it on Multiple units in my test garden...Maybe my soil..What targets did you test it on? Depth ETC??
Can you shoot a video and show us?
@@calabashdiggeradventures Its a 11" clad quarter in topsoil with red clay about 6" down hasn't been there but maybe 3 weeks. I have never uploaded a video on CZcams before should be easy enough. When I get home I will give it a try for sure.
@@calabashdiggeradventures I also am not contending with high EMI at my place and I run my recovery alot higher then you do mine sits around 7 to 9. Park mode, if 2 ,st 1, 10 kHz, 60 tone with the Lg24.
Might be a Multi Freq thing???
Легенда на моно круче
Run that Xtra against the XP deus 2
im disappointed my xterra falses unstable and vdi jumps everywhere. i hope they come out with an system update soon
You need to send it back then causer you got a bad unit..
Looks like the X Terra pro might smoke the Legend. Regardless the X Terra unit is nice.
Man I wish they would've lost the 4kz and had a 20kz, I would've Def jumped on it.
IT has a 15
@@calabashdiggeradventures yeah like to se a 20 or higher. Then they even could use prospecting in the sales pitch.
Separation.
Its decent ..I will test mine when it gets here that one had to go back to IFFY SIGNALS today..
No audio
Working on my end..
Did you try legend in single freq? Paystreak usually only runs his legend in single freq.
Yes working
Calabash. I know you're trying to be diplomatic these days after the D2 debacle. But from where I'm sitting it looks like a knockout blow to Nokta makro. Lights out!
How? Put the Legend in single frequency too and it will be a fair test then.
@@timbenham516 but I thought multi is supposed to be superior
@@SteveMiller-yw7kv it is you just have to be smart enough to use it
