- In this Video I will do a full review on BSB .45.
we will test Speed, penatration, draw weight with maxed out bands at 30 inches draw, and put it all together for an idea of potential accuracy.
I bought these BSB bands at wasp slingshots. See link below.

I am using BSB white in 0.5, taper 18-10-190 mm with 8 mm steel. My bands last for about 300 - 360 shots, the draw weight is really comfortable and the accuracy is getting better and better. I love them!! 👍
i cant hit shit,i am getting glasses next weeik
I am using BSB white 0,5, tapered 18-12-160mm to a 70cm draw length shooting 0,3 gramm 6mm airsoft bb-s indoors and 4,5mm steel pellets outdoors.
I came up from 12 straight cut to 14-10, 16-10 and 18-12. Firstly to have 5 full sets on one go, secondly the bandset failed too often at the pouch. I tie the pouch fully by hand so there is hardly any waste.
No backslaps on OTT. Bill Hays explained how to do that.
I shoot at least a hundred a day, and a set keeps shooting usually several days. A 2m roll lasts at least for a year.
Sadly I do not have a crony. By looking at the video mine is at least 250 fps.
Accuracywise I can hit a 4cm target from 9m half of the time consistently at home. Not too impressive I know, but that's where I am at.
I received my bsb /jidilaoyao white .45 latex in the post this morning and I’m just going to cut it to an 18-12 taper and try them out and I can’t wait mark . Thanks again for this review
Great stuff
BSB 0,45 White is one of my favorite when shootong 7mm steel 👍😎
I can see 7mm being perfect for this rubber. I would like to try 7mm steel.
LOVE THIS RUBBER!!! so far it's my favorite for shooting everything from clay & 1/4" all the way up to 9.5.
Yup great stuff. I should have tried it with 9.5 but I wasn't really expecting it to be so fast. Lol
Still really enjoying your content!!! You’ve sold me, I’m ordering a roll of this right now!! Great video as always kudos from the UK 🇬🇧
Thanks man thats great news. Thanks for sticking around
I've got a roll of this and really like it so far, you need to try the ALS again now that it's warmed up.
Ya I may do a short.
Oh man! Gonna have to get some good band material. Sounds like you have a winner there! Great shooting and great video! Thanks!
Thanks Ed. I really like this stuff. Great elastic.
Great video as usual. Question:
I shoot 7 and 8mm steel and I have very short draw. I want some speed, would you recommend bsb white .45 or .50?
Thanks🎯
Can't beat BsB white. By far the best iv shot with light ammo. Good stretch. The only band I can cut across the roll and performance is unmatched imo.
Nice video
(Phip)
I really like the .45 bsb. Really nice bands. I had some wierd breaks with it. But the performance is outstanding.
Brilliant video iv seen them about there are so many to choose from i don't shoot enough to get through lots of band's, but any info you give is greatly appreciated and received thanks you to keep well and stay safe 👍
Thanks buddy, I hope you are doing well.
Love your videos. So much time and effort into them : )
I bought the catch bag recently because of your recommendation!
How do you like it?
Great shooting, great video and great cap too,I have that very cap.
I love this cap. Its starting to look a little ruff but that just makes it better. Lol
Great job Mark
Snipersling black .5 the best so far
The fastest, yes not my favorite to shoot though. I prefer yellow snipersling. Lighter draw and just a tiny bit slower. But it has a smoother and lighter draw which makes the more accurate.
Damn I need to check these out. I'll always have a roll of theraband gold but these are interesting.
They are really nice. Fast with a nice light draw
I haven't heard of BSB Bands. I just ordered some sumekei bands to try out, still waiting on shipping. Nice shooting! ⚡👏⚡
Bsb stands for Burning scull bands. They are the bands from a famous shooter in China apparently. I am impressed with them.
@@ATOMark okay, right on, thanks. I'll check 'em out
Great honest review mark look forward to more soon 👍🏻
Thanks man. I did some filming today but I have to see how it turned out. I was a little hung over lol
Good shooting, good review and nice to see you again.
Thanks Manny, I needed a break. There is so much going on and I've been planning a canoe camping trip for the end of the month so I have been pretty busy. I will try to get a few more vids filmed before I go.
@@ATOMark The more important is you and the family the rest is extra. God bless you and family.
Great job and great shooting 👊
Thanks brother
Great Review. BSB Yellow 0.45 isn´t just a different color, the draw weight is less. To compare it 1:1 it need to be shorter. Same length won´t reach the max. out based on my personal experience. Looking forwqrd to see your BSB Yellow .45 review. Thanks and cheers from Germany
On all these tests I max out the elongation at my draw length. So if the elongation of the yellow is different then I will make the bands accordingly
@@ATOMark That´s fair. These 100% 1:1 test setups like 20-10-170 for each brand and thickness doesn´t work imo.
No I always test the elongation and make my bands accordingly. I have heard people trash a brand because they weren't getting fast speeds with barnd "A" when they were cutting them the same as Brand "B". And A had an elongation of 5.5 and B was 7. Lol. It makes me crazy when people ask me what my active band length is.
I even take it a step further. On every roll I get I test the elongation. And write it in the box. When I but the same bands when I run out I test them again. Just to be sure they didn't change the recipe.
@@ATOMark perfect
Awesome! A great review, fantastic shooting as always bro 👏👏👍
Thanks buddy
another great vid Mark , am surprised how fast they are , i may have to get a roll for my lad
They are great bands for target shooting
Nice review! That 1/4 was moving on!
It really was! No if I could just tame it a little....
Enjoyed the video, thanks….👍🏻👊🏻
Great video 👍
I want a set of these .
They are really nice.
Congratulations!!!!! Top! It is your favorite setup and fork?
Thats fast! ..Haven't seen many setups push 300 or touch it especially on a short draw ..Butterfly im not sure but that elastic is fas Pal!!
There are a few bands that can do it. I have tested many that cross the 300fps its all in how you tune your bands.
@@ATOMark Thats the thing! The more i shoot the more i realise that its a pretty precise thing too much taper gets you short Bandlife and not enough doesn't get the speed up ..Im shooting. 8 snipersling black but reckon that from your videos im using way too much Elastic really ..I get great power but reckon that i could get possibly more for less!??
@@danielgreen3715 really brother it is all about finding the sweet spot. I shoot .5 bands mostly. With snipersling black I can get 326fps with 8mm and 270 fps with 9.5. The band life won't be that great because I max them out. In a hunting senerio that's plenty speed with 9.5mm but I will get 100 shots maximum out of those bands. When I shoot targets my goal is the lightest draw possible to hit the target point on at 10 m with 8mm steel. Speed is way down the list of priorities. Accuracy, stability and draw weight are the most important. Really hunting rabbits and most birds with decent bands like .65 with a taper like 25-15 and 9.5mm steel there is not a thing standing because I will have my bands tuned to reach 250+ fps with a decent draw weight that gives me excellent shot placement and accuracy. That should be our goal shooting at targets or game.
Good shooting
Thanks man
What’s the .55 bsb white like speeds etc
Nice one m8. Propa job 👍
Thanks Chris
White bsb .45 and .55 is all I shoot can’t seem to find a band to bet them yet for me
I had tried .65 and 7 but wasn't a fan of the quality and feel but .45 is really nice 👌
You ever been able to get a slingshot to pierce through the bottom of a tuna can with 3/8" steel?
I have never tried a tuna can but I am sure it wouldn't be a problem. I will have to give it a shot.
@@ATOMark oh ok, thanks. They're a little tougher than the side of a standard can so wasn't sure if it's possible or not. My slingshot with tube bands never has been able to it seems like. It'll just cave then in. Was wondering if the flats are that much better or not. Mine just has theraband silver tubes using short draw to the cheek
I bought some of these bands after watching this video a couple of weeks ago. I really wanted to see how they compared Sumeiki .45. I have only used an 18-12 taper and 1/4 inch steel so far but I really like them, the draw is so smooth and light and they put 1/4 steel through one side of a soup can and almost out the other side, just a joy to shoot. I think my 22-12 taper will put 8mm steel through both sides of that can. Where did you get your bands?
I think I bought them from wasp! But I have bought bsb from slingshooting.com and gzk
Can you let us know how does BSB compares with Sumeike?
Also where did you buy them from?
Thanks.
@Super Balaur I will do a review on sumeike .5 very soon. It will be my next band test. I bought these from wasp I believe.
Been using BSB .45 white exclusively for the last year, still haven't found a rubber i like better. In your opinion how do these stack up to .45 Omega electric white?
I really like them. I can't seem to kill a band set. They just keep going. I think the bsb might be faster but I like the draw of omega better.
@ATOMark awesome! thanks for the response, you always do.
Your accuracy issue with these bands and 1/4 inch steel is a bit of a puzzle and one I am trying to solve also. I shoot 1/4 inch with a 18-12 taper and love it. It has a very light draw and is very accurate with a 42in. draw and around 300 fps. When I shoot full butterfly with the same taper (60in. draw )the accuracy goes away but I am able to shoot 8mm quite well with the same band. I am wondering if the pouch flies differently at high speeds with a light load. What do you think?
The issue I am having is I was getting high rates of speed and it changed my point on reference point . To correct this I could cut the bands longer to slow the bands down or drop to .4 bands. Really it would take some experimenting and adjusting tapers to find the right set up.
I have found that shooting under powered bands tends to lob the ammo over the forks and hooks to the left for me. Wierd.
Hi buddy! amazing band! Thank you for the video! thanks to you I found out about it) where do you order it?
You can get it from wasp, gzk, slingshooting.com
Great shooting Mark.
Did you shortened your active length on those bands?
No, when I do band test I cut them to max out at my draw length. These stretched a little ferther so I made them to stop at my anchor point
Just out of curiosity, what bands would you suggest for the Scout Lt, and a custom Metro grade fat tiny design
My anchor will be very similar to yours using 3/8 ammo
I’m 66 years old , when I grow up I want to shoot that sling shot like you,
Well I am a big fan of snipersling bands. For 3/8 steel I would use .65. Precise and 100% make great bands aswell. I have tested many of these bands with 3/8 steel. .65 is a good place to start.
can you calculate JOULES ? I do not know the weight of you ammo . so .
He was shooting 5/16” or 7.94mm balls that weigh 2.04 grams. If we average the shots at 300fps or 91m/s the energy produced was is 6.2 foot pounds or 8.4 Joules.
I will see what I can do in future videos.
I know you mainly shoot anchor point, but could you test these bands with a long draw and 8mm steel? im curious to see what they'd put up.
I may give this a try.
@@ATOMark please do, and how are you liking the companion. I was looking more at the small hunter ott, or the classic 80mm.
I have the S90 aswell, I think I prefer the medium Titan hunter. I like the extra on the handle.
How long the taper is?
The taper is 22-12. And 130mm active
Top shooting pal 👍
Bsb .45 taper 24/12
What active band length is that?
I maxed them out to my draw length. Just measure test the elastic for max elongation. Devide that by your draw length, and that's your maxed active. Add a little for fork and pouch attachment and you are good to go.
For normal shooting I add 1/2- 1cm for band life. I don't reccomend shooting maxed bands. They don't last long
Just curious, what bands would you suggest for the new scout lt, and
It really depends on the ammo you use.
What do u think of bsb compared to simpleshot .5???
That's a tuff one. I only really like simpleshot .5 and .6 good speeds but I find the draw fades quickly as you go up in band size. I really like bsb but I find I get wierd breaks with them. Although .45 is one of my favorite bands. I think they are pretty even for me I may lean more towards bsb
Awesome shooting bro! Have you seen my new shooting video?
No I was off of social media for a while. I will go check it out.
@@ATOMark thanks bro
What do you use to film your shooting
Canon mirror less, gopro or my galaxy s9. All depends on the day.
What’s size ammo you used in this video
1/4"" (6.35mm) 5/16" ( 8mm)
Where do u buy the bsb .45 bands?
I have found them at GZK, wasp and slingshooting.com
