In the last one I particularly liked how the sword hung over the dice tray like the Sword of Damocles, a threat to any dice who misbehave.

My shelves got roasted at last! (I was the final one in the vid) Iâm well pleased you liked them, they are my favorite piece of furniture (though that photo I submitted bugs me, cause i had all of Malazan Book of the Fallen on display, except for The Crippled God, which i was reading at the time. The tiny gap irks me). I swear tho these vids give me so many ideas on how to display books I never would have thought of

The person who had like 20 books lined up on a radiator saying they can't afford a shelf... Yes you can. For such a small number of books, you can get a shelf for free. You can put a message out into your social network asking if someone has a shelf leftover. There are a hundred things you could do instead of lining your books up on top of a radiator đ do it for them! Do it for the books!
my grandparents used to have a set of bookshelves in their old house that were not only built into the wall, but opened up into the cellar/cold room and workshop respectively. It was the coolest thing 5-year old me had ever seen and I still want one to this day
Not sure if anyone else has said it yet, but that broom was a cinnamon broom. My mom likes to get them around the holidays. They smell nice and . . . look like brooms.

Also, go, leaving the tree up year round is kind of genius. Saves you so much work. My family has actually sort of done this, took all the ornaments off but never quite got the tree down. Saved time in November that yearđ

Having a mad wizard library/ office full of books is kind of the dream. I go back and forth between wanting a super neat and organized book room someday. And wanting one thatâs just organized chaos, only I know exactly where everything is, but nobody else would ever be able to find anything

My takeaway is that my seemingly humble (edit: yet to be roasted) dusty bookshelf mishmash with little space is actually...somewhat respectable. Although the paper stacks in this episode is all too relatable from eons ago...like knowing or recalling what the worst hangover feels like. I pine for a second slim bookshelf dedicated to WoT paperback I had started, Shannara trades (evocative covers, to me); I do want to get Dark Tower PB's, scifi/fantasy horror trilogies over time!
I sincerely regret not watching these roasts earlier. Loled. A lot.

This makes me miss my books. I had to put them in storage when I moved and some assholes decided to steal them. I haven't really had a chance to replace everything that was stolen.
Oh no, thatâs awful. Cause- if youâre in the US at least- I donât think insurance would cover that, since you were probably between policies. And also, theyâd probably undervalue the books like crazy, and never give you enough to actually cover the cost of replacing all of those books

You can understand people by looking at their environment. I watch Daniel's old videos where filmed infront of his stainless steel frig. The stainless was spotless. I have a stainless steel frig. I will clean the smuges before I go to bed. I wake up, and their is smugs on the stainless. Daniel must have been clean his frig second before recording. Telling?
