- An old track with a new twist. Leogang brought the goods at round 1 of the UCI Downhill MTB World Cup this weekend! A new track that could be discussed for weeks was quickly tamed by some of the world's best as riders carved their way down the Austrian landscape.
With crashes to follow and some incredibly fast laps, it was top-to-bottom drama throughout the day before Swiss rider Camille Balanche cemented her place in Leogang history and Australian rocket Troy Brosnan ended his winning drought with an exceptional run. Eliot Jackson was there to get the low-down in Leogang. 🇦🇹

Absolutely blown away and impressed he is a top 10 rider after what he went through, and most impressive is his mental game/lack of fear. True inspiration.

It was a while without any DH competition but Leogang delivered all the thrill we were used to since years. Can't wait to see what's coming, some riders are just amazing!

si vas por un trek de enduro anda por una slash no un fuel que no tiene el recorrido suficiente es mas un all mountain/trail bike. Si tenes solo esas dos opciones anda por la merida.

Why? Because we haven't had any in 2 years; except Snowshoe last year when Danny Hart won? It wasn't that great!

Did you watch it live? Cause it was insane!!! You have good old amury sitting in the hot seat for like 20 riders until this young French kid called daprela puts 3 SECONDS into your time in the top section then proceeds to try and TRIPLE a section then to “crash” in the woods then you have Troy the last man down the hill been training soo hard in the dusty conditions of Adelaide and goes and puts over a second into amury and daprelas overall time in a muddy sloppy bottom section!!!! Like yhat is insaneee but I do agree that snowshoe race was something else

How do some of them case the jumps, that would take speed away. Best to keep it low but not too low over the jumps.
Huge jumps, some choose to squash reallly hard to get back to pedaling fast

why did they cut out tracey hannah?
idgaf, she put fear into the hearts of all who rode before her. she was ahead, BOTH times, and wiped at the end. that is the ONLY reason anyone else could place faster. She may not have won the fight, but shes been winning the war. Yeah yeah, i know you gotta go all the way with no incident, but a couple of spills is not indicative of her skill. They get nervous when she starts rolling, and its probably gonna stay that way.

Vali deserved that win
Vali Höll is the only female that rides kind of like the men. But time after time she makes dumb mistakes - losing her concentration on easier sections. If she avoids major injuries she’ll be #1 next year if not this year.

These highlight edits are rubbish!! There is hardly any racing in them! Why can’t you show more race footage! Extend the highlights programme and present more splits for each racer! Are there copyright / ownership issues?
