    Ashwagandha root is one of the top most highly valued tonic herbs commonly utilized in Ayurvedic herbalism. Known as "Indian ginseng" for its energizing, strength building and restorative impact, it helps to relieve physical fatigue and is particularly famous for its revitalizing effects on the male as well as the female reproductive system.
    Traditionally consumed with other Ayurvedic herbs in herbal formulations geared to specific constitutions or body types, ashwagandha is found in many blends for addressing adrenal exhaustion, insomnia, hormonal imbalance, anxiety and debilitating weakness.

    I bought Ashwagandha along with Holy Basil tea to lower insulin and cortisol and it's working it's a very well for me...it's a mild laxative too food that would otherwise be stored on my gut is being digested. Don't mean to gross anyone out but this is a big deal for me cause even as a child I've never been regular. I feel my metabolism is slightly boosted as well. I eat Goji berries and sea moss when I need to feel grounded which also counteract fatigue.

    I find warming Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) useful in those with fatigue and insomnia as a result of being 'hyper', agitated, irritable, and stressed .. in contrast to the fatigue and insomnia resulting from being 'flat', feeling low, lack of strength, poor appetite, unmotivated, exhausted from illness where warming Siberian ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosus) is indicated.. so it's essential to determine what has resulted in your particular fatigue and insomnia ... plant thermal qualities and being yin or yang tonifying are important factors too..

      @DM-wj4gg Před 4 lety +2

      Jeremy calhoun ...I’m 63 years old with joint problems. I started at the recommended dose and every 2 weeks elevated the dose until I really felt positive results. My shoulders don’t “pop” anymore and my knees don’t ache. I’ve never been one of those people who give in to the fads about new things but I decided to try it. Here’s why...over a year ago, I was watching an elephant video that I subscribe to from the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Africa. There was an orphan elephant who had a soft tissue injury in his knee. He was given Turmeric in his bottle 3 times a day and in a week the swelling went down and eventually healed itself. After thinking about it for a while, I decided to try Turmeric. Sounds silly but I had proof it worked! I edited my original comment. I started taking it in 2018.

    • @TheKristenGibson
      @TheKristenGibson Před 7 lety +1

      camercial1 hibiscus tea is great! I put it in all my herbal teas, because it's a powerful flavor to cover up other bitter herbs. It does have many benefits too with the heart, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. I don't have high blood pressure or any heart problems, but it's still wonderful tasting and it's an antioxidant.
