Lucifer isn't that big of a deal in Marvel I believe. His narrative role is taken by Mephisto.

Supposedly they want to distance from elements that might be uncomfortable for viewers who are used to the other Marvel stuff.

They could have publicly announced that HULU and the MCU were seperate universes and continued making interesting shows like this Runaways, Ghost Rider, The announced Cartoons and any other ideas without messing with the MCU brand. Seems like they killed a potential revanue stream.
DeVante Smith Well Runaways I think it’s still MCU canon but I agree with the other shows. Cause with Helstrom here it didn’t feel like it’s MCU like the movies and other shows like Daredevil.
@@DedricSilva Runaways was canoon with Cloak and Dagger but neither show was in the MCU. Loeb made those shows after he realized Feige was freezing him out and not sharing information to keep story lines straight. Loeb had started building his own working universe on TV before Feige got the whole division canceled.

I was disappointed with ghost rider not being made but I am still kinda hopeful that they make a ghost rider series integrated with the mcu on disney plus.
Personally would have rather had Ghost Rider but this looks rather unique compared to other Marvel shows.

This was originally meant to be the first of 4 series in a Marvel Knigths/Horror branding
But after MarvelTv and MarvelStudios merged, All the shows where cancelled, But helstrom was too far in development to be scrapped
@@jesusramirezromo2037 Plus, Netflix isn't selling those shows, which were only really popular in the United States and saw steep declines in ratings after each season. Disney have no reason to promote takes on characters that exist on a rival streaming service.
Kevin Feige likely wants a total reboot of the characters (and particularly characters that got a raw deal), although there's been rumors that he hopes to get some of the lead actors (Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, and Jon Bernthal) for the rebooted takes if they can work that out.

Here, all the netflix Marvel shows aired on SonyChanel, Wich also airs all the other Marvel shows, and they have previouslly have taken down "originals" they no longuer own

King Clark Netflix doesn’t own those shows but the license from Disney has expired but there is a cooling off period in the contract so if they want they could literally start from where they stopped in the next few years and slap a Hulu tag on it but I agree that they would most likely just reboot it.

Probably hiding the fact this is even Marvel considering Marvel Studios took over Marvel Television, and wants to distance Helstrom they weren't in control of from the shows they will make, or in other words, push it under the rug relative to the MCU.

Ugh, this teaser makes me more excited I JUST WANNA SEE IT ALREADY, Since it might be canceled, Disney could’ve did this, rebrand Hulu, Rename Hulu, and then bring all of the Disney old shows and movies, even the planned D+ Originals, Then it would be successful so it wouldn’t get canceled.

It is, the show is part of MCU, was confirmed by Jeph Loeb and the showrunners. Marvel Studios it's indirect producer of the show since the moment they took creative control of Marvel TV.

The only series Feige has not recognized is Helstrom, as it's the last Marvel TV' show and recently he took creative control of this division. However the show was already confirmed by Jeph Loeb (when he was still working for Marvel) and by the showrunners before and after it was canceled. What Jeph Loeb, Kevin Feige and the showrunners said is totally valid, otherwise Marvel would not have allowed them to say that, and they would have had to retract their words.

Recommend googling, its a fun read.

I am intrigued because I like both Daimon and Satana, and although none of these actors look or "feel" like the classic Daimon and Satana from the comics, I am willing to give the show the benefit of the doubt.

Helstrom is the twelfth MCU television series, they could have redo the Ghost Rider Hulu television series very differently by having the Noble Kale's version of Ghost Rider be the titular character of the series and have Robbie Reyes' version of Ghost Rider be the guest star in the series.

Helstrom along with Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders, The Punisher, Runaways, Cloak & Dagger and Inhumans are part of the MCU not one of the alternate universes in the MCU's Multiverse.

All this trailer does is remind me that Kevin Fiege and Marvel Studio's STUPIDLY got rid of Marvel TV and the interesting things they were doing on TV, for watered down MCU content. All they had to do was publicly announce that all shows on HULU weren't connected to the movie's and they could have had the best of both worlds.
If they have done a Ghost Rider MCU television series on Hulu along with Helstrom, they should use the Danny Ketch version of Ghost Rider as the titular character of the show instead of the Robbie Reyes version or the Johnny Blaze version.

Maybe it's just because it's a teaser but I feel like after Titans, Swamp Thing, Doom Patrol and even the Arrowverse shows, there's no excuse for Marvel shows going so light on the superhero abilities.

@@BobChillison I really only liked Daredevil Season 2 and Jessica Jones season 1. Which again, were light on powers. Understandable given the protagonists but all the more reason these other shows should do more with characters that DO have more visually spectacular abilities
Daredevil, agents of shield and legion prove you wrong as they weren't big on superhero abilities and still a lot better than most of those shows you mentioned.

This is an R Rated show, Disney Plus will only stream G, PG and PG-13 content, if its R, it goes to Hulu

@@lukemorrison4791 Exactly, with the expection of the PG-13 cut of Deadpool 2, we are not going to see Deadpool and Logan stream on Disney+, they'll go to Hulu. (this also includes future R Rated Deadpool films, as they made it clear DP3 will remain R Rated)
Also Deadpool could technically appear in other Disney+ projects, as long you tone him down. (both film-wise and tv-wise)
Doctor Strange 2 is not R Rated, that'll be a PG-13 film like the first film
