Hellstrom needs a revist or a crossover into the MCU. If they are building toward Midnight Sons, then he needs to be included. His powers and his history with Occult based villany is definitely needed.

I remember reading "Son of Satan" in the 70's and 80's. One of my favorites.
The Hulu series was so dope, loved how grounded and dark it was. Sucks that Hulu canceled it 😒
I didn't know they cancelled it. Hulu doesn't do well with comic series like Netflix does. Runaways didn't last too long either.
Oh wonderful, now I have to get Hulu. The premise of this show sounds interesting, plus there is just so much that can be done with the character. He can be a tortured hero and a villain like in the comics. This could be very good.
Used to collect the Defenders in the 80's and Hellstrom and Dr. Strange's were the center of the storylines as they mostly fought demons and dark forces.
Those were, also, the days of the majority of my reading and collecting of comics, imo - the best of storylines and illustrations. I believe that Hellstrom was better known as Son of Satan, then, or at least, that's how I knew him. As I commented, I recall a specific story, featuring S o S, probably in Defenders, in which his father revealed to his son, a different side - the implication being that Satan and God, were 2 sides of the same coin - fairly elaborate, serious, metaphysical material for a young mind, as well as thought provoking.

That’s how marvel/Kevin Feige wanted it, the show came out after Marvel television wasn’t a thing anymore and Kevin feige took over all of live action marvel. The show was already finished so they put it out anyways, it even got canceled before the show even came out.
It would of been cool if they kept Daredevil and introduced Helstrom into the same Defenders universe

It was be never be on Netflix or Disney +. For one it's not fir children and secondly Disney is no longer doing business with Netflix.
It may be on Disney plus like Runaways is, but if it's too mature like Legion Marvel will probably keep it on hulu

I really liked how the series began. The first few episodes were really cool, setting up an interesting world, etc. From then on, it got very meh... I finished the series but it was difficult.
I agree! It started with a lot of promise but by the end I thought I was watching a CW show with way too much self loathing, self sacrifice (attempts), brooding, regrets, and a lot of apologizing...a lot! Those are mainly the reasons I stopped watching Supernatural after six seasons.
I hope the horror aspects are worthy of the character and the fans.

In my marvel universe series show among the many villains Daimon would have to face would be fallen angels. These angels are supposed to represent toxic Christianity and faith to a religion.

I really liked the circle of 4 story arc, even though I never really warmed up to Flash as Venom the stories were good mostly.

Son of Satan premiered in Marvel Spotlight #12 for the first time. I don't know why the show did it, but his name is Daimon Hellstrom--two "L"s.

Mephisto simply claims to be Satan. To be fair there is no actual Satan. It's a name used by at least four demons in Marvel.

But I really love the way places in Oregon look, some look dark and creepy.. allot of fog. So cool! I love San Fran, place is so beautiful. I just came back near that area in Benicia Cali.

I tried to watch Helstrom the potential was there, but it was just really lacking. It was just really hard to watch.
In short, hellstorm is sent to compete with DC Lucifer......
Can't compete with something that's garbage dude.
Was never a fan of that side of Marvel as it just got so cheesy, just soap opera silly story lines. I liked the Blade movies, & thinking Helstrom was going to be the gateway to that was exciting, but sure enough Helstrom was canceled as all Marvel TV was scratched. I have faith in Feige & knowing Moon Knight, & Blade are coming I am guessing they will work him in through other stories. I was just really looking forward to some adult Marvel horror.

Son of Satan (reboot Hellstrom) came out in the 70s. Hellboy came out in the 90’s.
