In the beginning I thought Mark was just the “be a good guy for the sake of being good” but seeing the amount of stress this guy is holding on his shoulders is unbelievable. I hope him and Eve can live happily sooner than later. Guy deserves it

@@jesentry5339he said himself the show is his second draft of the story. Because his writing process is just 0 outlining. The comics are good but you can definitely tell that sometimes the story could of used some outlining.
@@Cristian_that_artist That 'second draft' comment is spot on with how I see it. I recently re-read the comics and they're great (for the most part) but when you compare them to the show it's kinda crazy just how many "small" changes there actually are... and how much better they make the story feel! Just in s1 alone I can't imagine the story without Cecil vs Omni-Man, Eve being supportive, and Damien being an actual good detective lol. Love this adaptation!
Well...hate to say this but his true misery hasn't even started yet.... hopefully animation will cut all the terrible parts

He just got back supposedly "killing" Angstrom Levy, broke up with Amber an episode ago, just found his dear friend Is In love with him, and has to worry about the Viltrumites invading Earth.
Mark has so much emotional baggage that he's going through and It's truly astonishing watching It all go down.
And It only gets worse from here.😥
That and all his family bussiness, his mom ingured for his actions, a new brother and his dad possibily being dead, all of that in his mind while he has to fight bad guys

This is why i love Invincible sm, he always gets up and keeps on fighting.And what he's going through rn isn't shit compared to what happens later in the comics.Invincible is one of those comic characters who've rlly gone through hell and back.Even Rexplode acknowledges this fact.
And his dead is ordered to be executed and he can't do nothing about it.
Interesting how Mark battles his inner viltrumite and Nolan battles his inner human.

This season's villain wasn't Angstrom Levy or the Viltrumites, it was Mark's darkness, his dark side. He feared so much to become like his father, but killing Angstrom was sucumbing to his dark side (the same brutality Nolan inflicted on him, Mark did it on Angstrom). It was obvious from the start why it was put so much input in the opening of the season that all begun with an evil version of Mark of another universe and later we saw many evil Marks being evil killers and conquerors just like all the Viltrumites.

Edit: Seeing him fly at light speed its scary, i tought he was going to do a Nolan right there.
Oh he wasn't anywhere near flying at the speed Nolan did on that one planet. He broke the sound barrier for sure, but he would've had to fly much faster to ignite the atmosphere...speeds he probably can't even reach yet.

@@kevinphoenix2007 Nah, all viltrumites can go past light speed. It's how they hop galaxies without ships, even for just star systems, you'd need WAY faster than light speed to not spend years just trying to get to the one next to yours.
It always makes me giggle seeing the Show only watchers comment about how they hope Marks life get better after this, but the comic readers know shit is just going to escalate from here on out

Mark is going through what Gohan went through in DBZ, only difference was how their dad's handled it, Goku recognized his error and did what he could to allow his son to live a life the way he wanted, while Nolan did see the error of his ways, the scars he left are deep and it only made the anger Mark has inside and the fear of losing control to that anger worse
How him or Debbie are still sane or not mentally wreck after all of that is either a miracle, or a testament to Debbie's and by Extention Mark's character.

That scene of Mark flying to blow off steam and clear his head made me realize that if I could fly I'd 100% die the second I got angry and tried to do the same thing Mark did, except I'd just burn up from the speed.
I like to think if you get flight you get the other powers to make it work properly, durability, speed etc.

Because Amazon hands them cash and gets out of the way if they're a good producer. It's not Amazon's job to enforce "good" media. From what I've heard about that other show its more mediocre than bad and honestly that's good enough for a big company like Amazon.

mark basically met a new viltrumite who threatened to kill his girlfriend, who then proceeded to beat the shit out of him, which prompted his girlfriend to want to break up with him, then he goes to fight some interdimensional portal dude who threatens to kill his family, loses control and kills said dude, goes back home after finding out one of his friends loves him, all within a fucking day

Seasoned 2 seems watere down compared to season 1
Not really. While Season 1 was a little more interesting with the whole "Omni-Man is the real bad guy", people serious overlook Season 2's theme of Mark becoming more like his father while trying to be anything but him yet sadly failing. It's at worst the bridge to something possibly better in Season 3 like "The Invincible War" and Invincible vs Conquest.

The day everything changed for Amazon subscribers when Amazon became greedy by adding ads to their streaming service.
Yeah, the world's still moving fine because most folks aren't that bothered with a minute of ads before we get back to the show. Almost as if ads in these aren't that big of a deal especially in a world of business where prices recently went up so streaming services are the least of your real world problems.
Mark needs to let go of his emotional attachments and think about what really matters and the big picture. He's putting himself through all this torture for people who will vanish in mere moments during his life. He has to live with his scars and should really think about the battles he chooses.
There's a cost to playing superhero. His selfish desires will cost the lives of many all for the sake of "not being one of them." The real villain of this show is Mark and not many people will admit it.
Yes and no. While being a superhero is bullshit to Mark in the future, letting it go can lead to more conflict as you'll end up trying to justify your own acts of murder and alike because you're trying to save people or w.e. virtually understandable reason.
Besides, those emotional attachments make him human. Trying to remove them over the big picture is not the way to go and it's something people easily misunderstand when they try to stop holding back.
