- Many of the best number 10's from the 80's and 90's, like Maradona, Platini, Baggio or Hagi, are household names.
The subject of this video was a brilliant playmaker from this era, yet he is virtually unknown.
Why?
Honestly man your videos deserve to be seen by a bigger audience than some of them seem to reach, don’t get it.
Very enjoyable and interesting again.
Thanks pal, I appreciate the kind words. Just gonny keep on plugging away!
Completely agree 🎉 Keep up the good work and top content my man. Chefs kiss 👍
I saw Enzo play for Wenger. I thought he was a gem of player. The type that makes you love the game.
I'm so happy to finally see a video about Enzo Scifo it makes my Belgian heart happy
One of my favourite players of all time along with Prued'homme and Grzegorz Lato.
Michel was a beast GK, SLBENFICA legend.
Enzo Scifo and Enzo Francescoli
underrated channel and I liked the vid
Thanks for this, honestly curious of Scifo as I've only heard he was part of the early noughties No. 10s class
He was the hazard of his time.
from the same city as hazard, too
Hazard probably idolise him@@sidikitraore7746
Class player. Belgium's best before the golden generation.
Luc Nilis 'Subtilis' and from the black/white era Paul van Himst !!
Fans of PSV saw Romario, Ronaldo and Ruud van Nistelrooij play in Eindhoven in the 1990s. But many will say their fave player was Luc Nilis. And he was highly valued as one of their best teammates by the likes of mentioned Ronaldo, Ruud van Nistelrooij and Mark van Bommel ...
Because of this video, i'm convinced to subscribe your channel. Keep the great work up!
Great idea this video !!!! ❤
Glad you liked it!!
Could you do a video on 1998/99 dynamo Kyiv?
It's a good Idea. I've got a list of 5/6 players I want to make vids about first, then I'll look into it!
@@flashbackfootball1367 thanks for acknowledging mate.
Zinedine Zidanes favourite player,he even named one of his sons Enzo
The son was named after enzo francescoli
It wasn't Scifo, but Francescoli, since Francescoli played for OM when Zidane was there in the youth system and was born there.
Steed Malbranque's idol and role model.
He had a really good long career. Was never best of the best but that's ok. I don't see him as a flop, you can't expect every player to be super known to causals. What hindered him in retrospect is that he came to big stage so young and people expected he would develop more. In his time mid 80s to mid 90s there was a bunch of players like that, who are now forgotten and were great but could have been more known.
I think Torino was super defensive as well
If modern football fans dont know him then they arent football fans.
11:43 Eh... SHIT!!! Did you see that??!
He must have a foot like a traction engine.
Unbelievable strike!
He had a fine career but it could have been better. He certainly is plenty appreciated and respected in Belgium and i suspect in the teams he played for (like Torino).
Totally forgot this Belgian wonder
Platini is just biased cuz its franch belgium flaams and france guy
Decir Sciffo era decir "Clase en el fútbol"
He scored some long range shots and that's about it.
When it was his day he was really a midfield orchestrator who could pull the strings and control the game. I just think he lacked consistency and it wasn't his day very often.
Technically he was one of the most gifted players of the 80ies and 90ies.
@@LHBH8 Has Belgium won a cup or been in a final during his time. All people see are videos of him with his long-range shots.
@@David_Smithyou do realise not all matches were televised during this era, don't you?
Here in Italy, his unfortunate name was almost always confused for Schifo 🫣
